Very compassionate, inviting hearted and supportive team. Lots of activities, including outside of childcare centre (for example, forest school). Definitely the top choice in Kensington. Outstanding childcare centre, highly recommended!

The ratio of kids to educators is very little so the kids are really in a family atmosphere. I trust them and sense Pooh Corner SW7 is the best childcare centre I could have found. Thank you to Pooh Corner team. My 3 kids have gone to Pooh Corner SW7, with my little one finishing this year, so I have known their educators and team closely for over 7 years and they have consistently been incredible, attentive and giving lots of adore and attention to kids.

Everything is centred around kids’s well-being and is done in a flexible manner.
The new layout is much brighter than it was in the past and provides a very nice atmosphere where kids are cheerful.
All educators, regardless of the class they are responsible for, do know all kids and their respective preferences/unique traits.
Everyone is responsive ensuring excellent and timely updates with the parents. Excellent loving and attentive childcare centre.

However, after being in kindergarten for 1 plus years she has really blossomed and is chatty, outgoing and inquisitive. She loves going to school, her schoolmates and educators. I out this down to the nurturing setting. While the school may not have the newest facilities they more than makeup for it through the “soft” aspect in terms of pastoral care and dedication of educators, As a kid growing up in Covid times daughter was rather shy and reticent around strangers.

He loved going to the childcare centre and was so much in his comfort zone though with a lot of personal one to one attention from the educators given the small class sizes. He learned so much and was very well prepared for school even though he was an August born so youngest in his class! My younger boy was at Pooh Corner for two years and we had a excellent journey.

The sports day was extremely well run, excellent enjoyable and a celebration of the kids’s achievements. The headteacher was consistently available, compassionate, supportive and run’s the childcare centre very well. We are pleased to hear that the setting is being renovated in time for September. The open plan classrooms allowed year groups to mix, which was excellent for gaining self‑assurance with older kids and expanded the pool of friends. Very well-managed childcare centre with fantastic educators who really care about the kids and formed a excellent bond with welcoming parents, who are all regularly included in discovering activities.

The teaching and care is remarkable, facilities/equipment are brand new (fully refurbished in 2022) and childcare centre is spacious. Forest school is a excellent offer, so are weekly sports and ballet from external educators. The parent community is tight-knit, making new parents sense welcomed. I have seen my kid grow into an independent, confident kid who is looking forward to her day at childcare centre every morning. We do wish the outdoor space was bigger but otherwise very cheerful. We are really pleased with Pooh Corner SW7.

The setting is incredible, very spacious, with lots of enjoyable activities for the kids. Forest School for upper kindergarten kids was also a highlight. The teaching team were so attentive, compassionate and attentive – they really helped our son grow in self‑assurance, and develop social skills and taught him phonics, counting, writing as well as topics of interest like space, road rules etc! We were very cheerful with Pooh Corner and will be sending our daughter there also! The heads also really helped us to navigate the next steps re schools in the area and I found their help and assistance in this regard invaluable. Our son went to Pooh Corner SW7 from the age of 2.

Schools often rise and fall with their management, and I am incredibly impressed with how the Kindergartens has had two equally attentive, intelligent, really dedicated, hard-working heads of the childcare centre during my daughter’s time there (1.5 years). The care and attention given to each kid every day by the educators is genuine, individual and forward-thinking. Teaching is imaginative and varied so that the kids never get bored and learn easily. I can’t believe that my daughter is starting to read and write, not only her name but also other words. The variety of activities during the regular school day and after-school clubs has also added to her journey from maths, to a mud kitchen and hop scotch in the childcare centre garden, gardening, coach trips to forest school in Wimbledon Commons, cooking, ballet, tennis and other sports. Parents are part of the community and consistently informed. I would do it over again! Mine and my daughter’s journey at Pooh Corner SW7 has been exceptional.

We particularly delight in the forest school and afternoon clubs. There is a also a excellent sense of community. Fantastic childcare centre with lovely, inviting and nurturing educators and a remarkable program of kids’s activities.
