Windmill Nursery and Preschool Redruth

Based in Redruth, we are a preschool and a full-daycare nursery. This means your children can attend just one setting right through from babyhood to school. This will enable them to build strong bonds with the staff and have a ‘home from home’ environment for their first experience away from Mum and Dad!

We work with you and support you if you are a working parent and need flexibility. We are as flexible as we can be in the day nursery and the preschool room when your children receive early education funding. This means your pre-school-aged children can have first-class education on days when it suits you. This includes having 11 hours of funding all year round instead of 15 hours term time only – if you prefer this and it suits your lifestyle. Talk to us about your individual needs.

All children are provided with healthy snacks in the morning and the afternoon. Children who stay for the whole day will need to bring in a well-balanced packed lunch – preferably with healthy options. The staff are happy to discuss suitable items for packed lunches with parents, on request. Please note: We are unable to heat any aspect of packed lunches, and food should be packed in a way that it is ready for your child to eat without further preparation.

We have places for children aged from birth to five years and we are registered with Ofsted.
