Purple Bees Day Nursery Curriculum
Here at Purple Bees, we offer a play-based day with hidden learning to be found in every activity!
We provide well-planned indoors and outdoors experiences based on each child’s individual interests. Our team will support all children so they can learn through play and enjoy the learning experience through a balance of child-initiated and adult-led play-based activities.
We use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as a starting point for our educational programme. The Early Years Foundation Stage is a statutory framework that is fully embedded in all aspects of nursery life.
Our educational programme allows children to experience quality learning and development opportunities, from the day a child starts until the day we say goodbye.
Purple Bees provides all children with a firm foundation on which to build future academic, social and emotional success.

I consider myself well-read and passionate with regard to early years development and honestly sense that Purple Bees ticks all boxes. In addition, we adore having the up to date minute to minute information about what they are up to in their day. We also adore the remarkable nutritious meals. Special thank you to the team who are investing so much time and adore into our babies. Our boys have been coming to Purple Bees since May and I can honestly say that this is an exceptional childcare centre.

The team are very informative and super welcoming, they’re consistently willing to make time for any questions we might have. They go above and beyond to make sure that everyone feels valued and included. The manager is consistently available to answer any questions or concerns I have, and she goes out of her way to make sure that everything runs smoothly. The facilities are spotless and well-maintained, and activities are consistently engaging and stimulating. I’m particularly impressed with the nutritious food that is provided. The meals are consistently well-balanced and include a variety of healthy options. As a parent, it’s comforting to know that my kids are in such great hands. They are so looking forward to going to the childcare centre every morning which is so reassuring. I highly suggest Purple Bees to anyone looking for a attentive and supportive setting for their little ones. My twin babies have been attending Purple Bees Day Childcare centre since they were one, and I couldn’t be any happier with the level of care they have received.

Each room has been incredible and supportive. All team are dedicated and expert. I would personally like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Management is approachable and accommodating. I can’t suggest this childcare centre highly enough. So sad that it’s almost time to move on to school.

December 9, 2024 at 7:17 amWe looked at six nurseries in the area before we chose Purple Bees Day Childcare centre. We immediately felt it was the right fit for us and have not looked back since. My kids are all very cheerful and have made some very great friends. The team are absolutely excellent, from the key workers up to management. There have been times that I have needed last minute swaps or extra days and they have bent over backwards to try to accommodate the kids. Covid-19 has been especially tough but again they rose to the challenge and I sense completely secure leaving the kids. I would not have been able to be a critical worker if I had not had their assistance. I can only work effectively because I know my kids are secure, cheerful and having enjoyable at childcare centre. My eldest son joined in 2016 and his brother and sister joined in 2019.

December 27, 2024 at 7:05 amHowever, the management at Purple Bees was so welcoming and reassuring when we looked around that we were instantly put at ease. Our daughter settled in quicker than we ever imagined, thanks to the lovely team and her key worker. She went from being a little shy and only clinging to her keyworker, to becoming confident and interacting with her friends in her room. She would consistently leave the childcare centre with a smile and consistently talked about her days at childcare centre with so much enthusiasm. The management and team are all very attentive, supportive and approachable. Honestly can’t praise the team enough for the incredible work they all do. We are so glad we chose this childcare centre for our daughter. Like most parents, the thought of leaving your kid at childcare centre for the first time is quite daunting.

We have consistently felt reassured going off to work and leaving our sons with the welcoming and inviting team. My little one settled pretty much instantly, the team ensure the kids are eating well with backup options in place, sleeping happily even if the usual ‘at-home’ nuances aren’t sticking, and there is plenty of engaging playtime. The team are honestly among the loveliest people I have met. I felt blessed to find them at a time when I actually needed assistance myself as a newly single mother – they did not just act as a simple daycare for my little one, but a genuinely attentive assistance for my family and welcomed us in a way I have never seen a childcare centre do so before. They have been a godsend in all respects, and I couldn’t suggest them enough to anyone who has the slightest worries about their little ones joining their first childcare centre. I was looking for a childcare centre for my second kid so I could return to work, and having placed my older kid in childcare centre before, I thought I knew exactly what to expect.

January 9, 2025 at 3:23 amThe team are pleasant and welcoming, I was anxious when I had to leave my kid but the team had consistently reassured me and settled my kid in well. I get to see the activities on a family app of what my kid does and eats. During the lockdown, the team were so supportive and had made it secure for my kid to come in. I would suggest this childcare centre and would rate it five star. When I had to return back to work, I was researching to see which childcare centre to put my kid in after looking at four places and Purple Bees Day Childcare centre had stood out the most.

Particularly with our eldest, the childcare centre has gone above and beyond to make sure his needs are met and that he is supported. Updates from the childcare centre has consistently been excellent and was especially great during the lockdowns. The childcare centre has a very welcoming, family sense to it and we adore that some of the same team members have looked after both of our kids. We have two kids at Purple Bees and have recommended the childcare centre to our friends.

Let it be with the initial settling period, helping baby sleep, feeding and developmental activities. I find this place is really great and would suggest to parents for their kids. I was new to London and have enquired quite a lot of nurseries and found Purple Bees Childcare centre to be the best in the locality and reasonable too.

He really enjoyed the activities that were available on site, also he interacted well with the team members which was remarkable to see. As I know he will delight in his time at preschool. I really would suggest parents sending their kids here as I’m sure the kids would have a great journey. I had brought my son in for a preschool tour and he simply loved it.

March 12, 2025 at 7:36 amThe assistance you get from all the team is just incredible. From day one I had no hesitation in leaving my son at the childcare centre as he has speech delays due to Covid. We were worried about what to do and where we would find the best place for our little one, but the development my little one has made in one and a half years has been incredible. From the incredible management to the educators, every single member of team at Purple Bees is incredibly welcoming and very supportive. The excellent assistance we have received from everyone is beyond incredible, I can’t put it into words. I am very sad that my son is leaving the childcare centre this year. The way he has improved in his language updates and social behaviour is just incredible. I can’t write enough great things because Purple Bees is like family to us now. I would like to thank all the fantastic team at Purple Bees from the bottom of my heart. Lots of adore. Purple Bees is the best journey I have ever had.

The team are all welcoming and lovely. So far I am cheerful with this childcare centre. My 2-year-old started in February this year.

Sad, they had no space to extend his session, but I will consistently choose them. Purple Bees Day Childcare centre played an important role in the discovering and development of my son.

Purple Bees Childcare centre has given me complete peace of mind, knowing that my babies are getting absolute care, supporting what they need most, and finding happiness through their early years of discovering life. The manager and her team have made a sure difference in our lives. She was so attentive and understanding about our situation and did all she could to help us find the solution. The educators consistently pay attention to my daughter and they are lovely, welcoming and make you trust and sense comfortable leaving your kid with them. So that’s the journey I had and do suggest Purple Bees for those who are looking for a nice place to leave the little ones! Purple Bees has been one of the incredible things that has happened in our lives.

They genuinely adore kids and my son loves going in. He spends most of his week there and I am stress-free when he is at the childcare centre. The manager and the team are just the best in dealing with both kids and parents. I wish them great luck and a big thank you. My son has been going to Purple Bees childcare centre right from 10 months of age and he is coming up to 4 years now.
