Bright Horizons Chantry Hall Day Nursery and Preschool

My youngest boy attends this nursery and my older two have also graduated from Chantry Hall. All three have received the benefit of being in an environment with the conditions to learn and develop. My youngest is very happy there and has formed little friendships within his peer group and has developed positive relationships with the staff.
The environment is safe and promotes positive activities to participate in. His feelings and views are taken seriously and he is developing in a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and fun surroundings.
My youngest is very fond of one particular carer amongst others and I feel confident that he is happy on the days he attends the nursery.

Very happy with the care given to our child since we joined. The honest and caring way they have treated the kids there is evident, and we couldn’t be happier knowing they are in a safe and prospering environment.

My son has been at the nursery for over a year, and the staff have been very attentive, nurturing and supportive. With their help, he has stopped using a dummy, developed key skills and gained confidence. The difference during lockdown was extremely noticeable. I will be sending my second child next year.

My daughter had started Chantry Hall in February 2021, I had never imagined she would be so happy at a nursery. I highly recommend Chantry Hall Nursery as there is such a high level of professionalism and care. This nursery has given our daughter a home from home feeling. She had started at the age of 6months and we can see so much development in her already. All staff in the rooms are very caring and enthusiastic. A very nurturing feeling is given from the staff. Our daughter’s key worker has really put her 100% every day to help build her development. Another member of staff has also been very caring and always has a lovely welcoming face with a smile. The manager and Deputy Manager have always been very welcoming, professional approachable and attentive. If we have had anything to highlight, they have always prioritized it. Very good communication from management and staff.

We are delighted with the care given to our 2-year-old daughter since she started at Chantry Hall Nursery at 13 months old. The staff are so lovely and caring, and our 2-year-old has thrived at the nursery in all areas (physical skills, communication, emotional development) despite starting in the midst of lockdown. She has graduated from the baby room to the toddler room and is now in the main nursery room, and the care has been consistent throughout each change of room and keyworker. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Our three-year-old son joined the nursery for seven months. We are very happy with the staff and the support they provided to make him feel comfortable at the beginning.
The staff really cares and loves what they are doing, so our little one is excited every day to go to the nursery.

The changes which occurred at the nursery since the temporary manager took over have been excellent. My child’s needs were always put first, and standards of staffing have improved tenfold. Care levels have also since been excellent. This continued after her departure when the lady returned as manager and the new deputy manager, who in particular is a brilliant communicator. All preschool teachers are excellent including the newcomers.

Our son is very well looked after, the staff is attentive, caring and kind. He goes to nursery every day with a smile. He clearly loves it at nursery which makes us think he must be very happy there.

My little boy has settled in so well to Chantry Hall, thanks to the kindness, patience and dedication of the lovely staff. Because of the pandemic he had only ever really been with me and found it difficult to be apart from me. His kind key workers showed him such generosity and care as he found his way. He has learned so much, become so much more independent, made friends and his language has come on enormously. He is given such lovely opportunities for learning and play and feels safe, loved and valued. I would absolutely recommend Chantry to any parent.

I cannot speak more highly of the team at Chantry Hall nursery! My son has just left to start school and over the past 2 years that we’ve been attending, he has thrived in this setting. He wishes he could stay at the nursery forever and has formed such strong relationships with the staff and made lots of great friends. As a parent it is all you can hope for – dropping off your child each day with them running in the door excited and picking them up and them telling you what a great day they had. The staff are very attuned and attentive to each child’s needs, and encourage and develop their interests. They are also highly responsive to parent feedback. In one instance when my son had a period of feeling like he couldn’t express how he was feeling, they developed some specific sessions to encourage the kids to identify and talk about their emotions. They use the garden as much as possible which is great, the food is always varied and healthy, and they run diverse extra classes like yoga!
