Woodlands Nursery and Forest School

They focus on outdoors, with all rooms having access to gardens, is perfect for my kids who both adore it. The added bonus of forest school on site is such a fantastic journey for the kids. We have consistently found the team welcoming and approachable, and communicating with the team is easy through face to face, emails and the app. My eldest needs extra assistance due to a mobility issue, and all team are consistently keen to assistance him where needed. We are confident that our kids are supported, cared for and nurtured every day! We highly suggest Woodlands to anyone, and in fact, have recommended to two friends who now happily send their kids here.

The level of care there is outstanding, with a lot of outdoor space and activities set up there. If the weather is bad, they have covered areas and can still delight in some fresh air and daylight. The food is all home-cooked and to a high standard with a great variety. The team is also highly accommodating and welcoming, giving updates weekly through the famly app especially. I can only highly suggest it. My son attended childcare centre at Woodlands and now comes back to do holiday clubs.

His physical and verbal development has come on leaps and bounds since starting. The team are lovely as well. The childcare centre fees are also highly reasonable. My son loves this childcare centre, in particular Forest School.

I have consistently found the team to be exceptionally attentive and nurturing. They have lots of enjoyable activities planned for the kids and the Forest School area is such a valuable discovering journey.

As a keyworker, I found the childcare centre to be exceptionally supportive and supportive during the Covid lockdown period. Throughout this time the team continued to provide a high level of care.
When I drop off the kids in the morning I consistently sense reassured that all their needs will be met and they will have a enjoyable day. Both of my kids have attended Woodlands since they were 9 months old.

Have recently started potty training and the childcare centre has been incredible helping along with this.
Consistently inform you of the day my daughter has and can see what she has been up to through the childcare centre app. Outstanding childcare centre, my daughter loves going and looks forward to her trips down to the forest school.

She has settled in so quickly and has bonded well with the team in her room. Her speech has developed amazingly and she consistently tells me about her day. She gets involved in so many different activities and she is consistently so excited to go back. They go down to their onsite Forest School site regularly which she loves! My kid has recently moved to Woodlands Childcare centre from another setting.

We knew straight away it was the childcare centre for us with the welcoming and welcoming team, the outdoor space and forest school, the in-house chef and just the general approach to discovering. All the team are cheerful and welcoming and seem to adore to be there which rubs off on the kids. Our little boy has come on leaps and bounds and I couldn’t suggest it enough. Our little boy has been at Woodlands Childcare centre and Forest School now for just under two years and he loves it.

Time and effort are given to ensure each kid has the best possible journey during their time there. The range of activities and opportunities provided is remarkable, and your kid’s interests are incorporated into the planning for each room. Both my kids have grown in self‑assurance since joining the setting, and the team have truly made a difference in their lives. You receive regular updates on your kid’s development, and the flexibility and updates from the team are excellent. Parental input and views are listened to. I honestly can not fault the day to day running of the childcare centre, preschool and out of school club. A highly recommended and professionally ran childcare provider. The team do an incredible job. Woodlands team go above and beyond to assistance the kids.
