Westfields Day Nursery

She only took around 2 weeks to settle in and that’s down to the fabulous and attentive efforts of the team. Early on, as a team, they identified that her original key worker may not have built up enough journey to deal with the needs of such a young new baby. Instead, it was recognised that this member would gain so much more by observing the more senior members. Our daughter is now full of smiles and excitement when she sees each and every team member in her room! I’ve also received some excellent advice from team – weaning my daughter off nighttime feeds so she’s hungry enough to eat meals in the day – it worked like a dream. We are so cheerful with the care our daughter receives because we can see how cheerful she is. The team are all so welcoming and approachable too, which makes for a very pleasant journey all around. Thank you Westfields Team – you’re all fabulous! Our daughter was one of the youngest babies to start at Westfields in a long time.

They are growing in self‑assurance and ability. The team are excellent and have really got to know the kids’s interests. Not for improvement, use the app more, this is the only handover option and it at times doesn’t provide significant information. Both our kids delight in their time at childcare centre.

Fast forward just a few months and he absolutely loves childcare centre and is thriving – he is so cheerful to go, adores his key workers, and seeing him get so much from it is just fantastic. It’s all thanks to the exceptional team. My son was very unsettled when he first started childcare centre having been at home with me for 12 months and being a total mummy’s boy!

The team are welcoming and informative and there is a excellent range of activities. They often delight in time in the garden and the catering is great. We’re confident that Westfields provides a excellent social and discovering journey for our little ones. Our kids consistently have a lovely day at Westfields.

The team are so attentive and the rooms have a lovely atmosphere. The food is healthy and varied and the activities are quite varied also. They have a excellent outdoor space and make great use of it. Updates home is excellent too! Both my sons and now my daughter have been very cheerful at Westfields.

When he first started he found it really difficult, but the team in the baby room were very patient and compassionate, so he soon settled. He also found some transitions difficult, particularly when returning after the first Covid lockdown. But again, the team were fantastic. He is now so cheerful and developing so quickly. The team continue to provide a nurturing setting, mixed with lots of enjoyable activities. The team are consistently very cheerful and approachable: it has been easy to build a great relationship with them. There is a excellent outdoor space and my son is often having far too much enjoyable playing outside with his friends that I have to almost bribe him to leave! As with many childcare settings, there does appear to be a high turnover of team, but there is enough consistency to provide stability and any changes are usually communicated well. Thank you Westfields; you all work so hard! My son has been at Westfields for just over three years and is so cheerful there.

The team work so hard to ensure he is cheerful and content. Tapestry (the online discovering journal) is packed full of photos and observations to know exactly the enjoyable he has had during the day. They ensure kids develop in their own way with a major focus on independent discovering. The separate areas are packed full of enjoyable natural resources and we adore their main focus is on outdoor discovering. We couldn’t suggest Westfields enough! Our son loves going to Westfields every single time!

All of the team are so welcoming, compassionate and welcoming. The setting is remarkable. My son has settled very quickly and couldn’t be happier. Fantastic!
