Townsend Montessori Nursery Maidstone

All the team has consistently been very supportive and welcoming. The kids had been encouraged from the beginning to be independent. The boys adore going to childcare centre. They do plenty of nice activities and they send us pictures regularly to show us our kids milestones. They also adore going outside and playing in “the big garden” every day. I would choose Townsend Montessori again and I strongly suggest it. Our 3 year old twins started to attend the Townsend Montessori Childcare centre when they were one during the pandemic.

She loves the team and they have been exceptional with her, helping her gain self‑assurance and taking their time with settling her when needed.
Updates has been an issue at times, with the new app not working and some newsletters and general information being missed, but anything relating to my kid has been communicated well. My daughter loves Townsend Montessori Childcare centre, they have lovely rooms and excellent facilities for playtime and discovering.

Constant poor updates from management and from some team over the last 2 years. A handful of the team are really lovely and do a excellent job.
I’ve overheard other parents in the room up complaining about issues with updates too so I doubt I’ll let my kid continue at this childcare centre for much longer.
The latest parent app they now use is a step backwards from the old app too, can no longer message the rooms directly anymore creating even more updates issues, missed events and emails not passed over to the rooms the kids are in. Emails in general often ignored. Such a shame. I’ve voiced my concerns many times and keep giving this childcare centre chances to improve but overall it’s just full of continual disappointment. This could be such an incredible childcare centre if it were managed properly.

My little one has only been there a short time but has already learnt a lot. I would highly suggest the childcare centre. Incredible team, very compassionate and understanding, they’re consistently there when you need anything and really welcoming, my little one loves it there!

They put the kid’s needs first. My daughter graduated last year and had an incredible time there. She was so quiet and shy not talking to people now she has self‑assurance, plays with everyone and has loads of friends in her new school. This year my son started there and he loves it coming home telling me what he learned. My journey with the childcare centre is that the team are polite and welcoming.

Cheerful and content kids with varied and positive discovering activities. Would highly suggest this childcare centre and preschool. We adore the Montessori ethos. Outstanding childcare centre; really attentive, welcoming team and excellent facilities.

We couldn’t be more positive – it’s a remarkable childcare centre with fantastic team. The kids are consistently well entertained with remarkable activities to help them learn and playtime.
At the end of the day our kids come home cheerful and chatting about the things that happened to them that day.
Having visited a number of nurseries in Maidstone we sense strongly that it was the best choice. We have sent our three kids to Townsend Montessori Childcare centre over the last 3 years.

I do sometimes sense that the food is very samey but it is consistently a great healthy meal. No issues whatsoever. Excellent team and a welcoming atmosphere, all three of my girls have learnt so much and they have all been cheerful there.

My daughter has been there since she was a little baby and she will be graduating soon and she absolutely loves it. She has made so many friends and I am so grateful for all the hard work that goes into her care. It is such a lovely childcare centre and fantastic team.

Welcoming team, lots of activities planned daily, nutritious food. My daughter settled quickly at this childcare centre and is consistently cheerful and chatty when I pick her up. Team keen to help and assistance. Very cheerful with the care my daughter receives.
