The Vineyard Organic Day Nursery is located in the heart of Richmond upon Thames in London and can place children aged between 3 months and 5 years.
At Vineyard Organic Day Nursery, we view childhood as a time in life that should be treasured not accelerated. Therefore, we tailor each child’s care and education around their specific personality, abilities and challenges. As such, while following the current EYFS (early years foundation stage) and working in close partnership with parents, we view each child’s learning and development as a personal process where they express their needs, interests and preferences by inquisitively exploring the world around them. Experienced and kind teachers celebrate the individuality and creativity of each child by providing a safe, rich and inspiring environment where children learn and play imaginatively as they grow in confidence, independence and resilience.

May 9, 2019 at 12:00 amI couldn’t recommend this nursery enough! The staff are always welcoming and hard working with substantial knowledge and the management team are very organised. My experience with the nursery and all staff has been better than expected and a very easy transition for both me and my partner and my daughter. Thank you all for your support.

June 24, 2019 at 12:00 amVery good nursery, with friendly and approachable carers. My daughter has always been happy to go. The outside space is limited but well organized. Children do plenty of activities and often go outside (park, library). Very positive experience!

June 24, 2019 at 12:00 amMy two kids have been there since 1year old and they both love it. Everyone is very caring and they get to know the kids well.
The only downside is that the outside area is quite small but they do take the kids out too so makes up for it.

June 25, 2019 at 12:00 amMy child has been with the nursery for 3 years as I wanted to return to work early. We’ve had a wonderful experience, and key milestones such as joining the nursery, transitioning from nursery to pre-school have been positive thanks to the caring and supportive staff. It’s encouraging to see all the children very happily engaged in many different activities each day, and I love seeing all the artwork and projects pinned up around the room. Despite a small outdoor area, the team are very proactive about getting the children outside as much as possible making local trips to visit the local Green, supermarket and train stations.
I would recommend The Vineyard Organic Day Nursery to all my friends and family who are considering childcare support.

Our daughter started here at 6 months all the way up to four, she has progressed so well in an amazing and friendly environment focused on learning and fun. Formed fantastic friendships with staff and children. Highly recommend.

I’ve seen my girls flourishing over the last year, learning, making friends and above all, enjoying every day and coming home with a big smile on their faces. I would highly recommend the Organic Vineyard nursery!

June 25, 2019 at 12:00 amMy daughter has always been extremely happy to go to the nursery. All staff are really enthusiastic and excellent with children and in their communication to us as parents. They really care and they make it very special for all children. The progress children make as a result of their efforts and the activities/programme is impressive. I am very happy and grateful as this is a really nice, inviting and friendly environment.

August 12, 2019 at 12:00 amVery friendly staff. My son was very happy during his time at the nursery. He built good relationships with his peers and nursery staff.
When he started the nursery he did not speak English and he developed good language skills, is able to express himself in English and enjoyed Spanish as well. Meals were better than a number of nurseries in the neighbourhood; healthy snacks and healthy meals. Staff was very sensitive regarding less/no sugar and private choices of family diet. A good number of activities every day, lots of singing and dancing.
The only downside is the small garden, despite its size my son enjoyed a lot in that tiny garden. They take kids for walks around the blocks, to Richmond Green and the library.

December 14, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son started in this nursery when he was 19 months old. We’ve been very happy to see he settled there really very very fast (2 weeks maybe max?). What was surprising, very soon he started to speak some English words at home, although he didn’t talk very much at that time (and we speak French at home). We could even hear him trying to sing, and it was the alphabet song – he was able to list some of the letters in the correct order and also recognise them in the book. Now he’s 22 months old and can say numbers in English in the correct order 1-10, and tries to say some of the days in the week. This just goes to show the result of the staff’s work. He absolutely loves to be there, moment. The nursery is also helpful for his behaviour at home – now he’s able to take his afternoon nap without breastfeeding, he’s more interested in books and more patient at meal times. Very happy with nursery, thank you guys!

All staff are kind, polite and willing to help with any issues. The management here is also great. My child loves going to nursery and enjoys telling me about his day. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place in a baby room or preschool.

My son started this nursery one year ago and in the beginning, he was always crying when I dropped him off, now he walks in by himself and he’s such a happy boy, he loves everyone here. He is learning rapidly, fascinating me day by day.
The staff are the best, loving, caring and very supportive.
The outside space is a bit small and I just would love to see more pictures of their day-to-day activities.
