The Parade Day Nursery - Abington

He is now about to leave for school and they have made sure he is 100% ready to do so. His self‑assurance has come on so much that my little shy boy isn’t refusing to do things and will go off on his own without my assistance. All the team have been remarkable and each of his key workers have been incredible. He loves the food provided and the activities he does. COVID restrictions have made some events difficult but they have gone that extra mile to make sure the kids can do the activities within the setting. Feedback and daily entry’s to the parents’ app have been consistent so I know how he’s getting on and the activities he has been part of have been recorded for me to view. I will be truly sad that I will no longer be visiting the childcare centre. But if I have another there I will absolutely be sending them to the parade. It is a fantastic childcare centre! I moved my son to the parade when he was 18 months old and I have been exceptionally cheerful with the care he has been given.

We have been impressed by the manager’s management and how comfortable she’s made this journey for first-time parents. We have found the service personable and welcoming, making a lovely setting for our daughter to learn and develop.

My whole family has used the childcare centre since 2006 and we all loved it. Cheerful, welcoming and experienced team who care about your kids. They listen to concerns and work with you to overcome anything. No matter what, we will consistently use them. Remarkable!

The team is outstanding and polite. They do their job professionally. Our kids are cheerful to go every day to the childcare centre to do activities and have enjoyable. We suggest this childcare centre! We have two kids at this childcare centre.

We tried a few nurseries but our daughter never seemed to settle, however at The Parade Day Childcare centre – Abington she settled in highly quickly and looked forward to every day she spent here. The whole team truly do go above and beyond to make sure both kids and parents are cheerful. Our daughter has thrived here over the past 2 years and comes home every day with a smile on her face and cheerful memories to share. We have no doubt that our next kid will also attend this childcare centre when we are ready. An incredible childcare centre!

Now at 2, she absolutely loves it. She consistently gets excited to go. On the days she isn’t there, she talks about what she has done, the friends she is excited to see, and how much she likes the team there. As a parent, it’s such a relief to know that while we are working that she is in a secure and attentive setting. All the team, on all levels from the manager to the key workers are welcoming, responsive and supportive when we have had any questions about how she is doing. Every person we know who is looking for a childcare centre, we have recommended The Parade Day Childcare centre – Abington every time. We couldn’t be more thankful to all the team for all they do to make it such a enjoyable, informative and secure place for our daughter. From the first week of our daughter starting at the childcare centre, we noticed a real improvement in her development (she started at 9 months old!).

There was an emphasis on kids coming first, and the need for a cheerful setting to help nurture discovering. I was particularly pleased to see they had more than one room for babies, so they could manage any soiling situation promptly and with excellent cleanliness without disrupting playtime – something I had noticed was not the case at a nearby childcare centre. The rooms were cleaned, team welcoming and it truly felt like a home from home. When my daughter started at the childcare centre she was encouraged to meet all of her discovering intentions with tips for us to help her develop at home. I adore the two-way updates between parents and the childcare centre. My daughter has grown in self‑assurance and is smashing all of her discovering intentions and is advanced in most areas. This to me, means she is cheerful to learn there with the right amount of care, attention and encouragement. When we first looked around the childcare centre, the manager greeted us and answered all of our questions during the visit.

The childcare centre team are highly attentive, honest and welcoming. My daughter loves the team as her second family and talks about them and the other kids all the time. As well as being a nurturing setting they have helped to shape my daughter’s personality and she is highly sociable, chatty and likes to try new things. The team keep you regularly updated about day-to-day activities and consistently greet my daughter with a smile. She strolls into childcare centre every day without a worry in the world and has built solid friendships and trust with the other kids and team. My daughter has been at the Parade since she was 11 months old and has enjoyed every day.

We have truly struggled with his speech and food, and the amount of assistance we have been given from one team member is incredible. We can’t suggest them enough! Since he started here, he has done nothing but thrive!

Welcoming supportive and attentive team are consistently on hand if I need help or advice. My little boy had never been in any childcare setting he settled in truly well and gets so excited when he knows it’s childcare centre days.
