The Little Den Day Nursery - Basford

It’s highly difficult to find a decent childcare centre these days but thank you because I have never for one second been worried about them in your supervision. They have loved coming in every single day. The team go above and beyond, especially the ladies in the bear’s room who have supported and been so fantastic with both my daughters.

Our little boy has attended the childcare centre since January 2022. He has developed rapidly in many areas since joining, and to say he loves his time there would be an understatement, as he now shouts hooray when we pull into the carpark! Thank you to all the girls for all you do! From our first visit to The Little Den, it was so inviting, like a home-from-home.

The difference in her is incredible, they have smaller numbers so more attention, adore and care is given. The parents’ app is exceptional so I can see throughout the day, how she is doing or contact them via the app if i need to. Only wish is I’d come to Little Den sooner! My kid has attended Little Den since Sept 2021 having previously gone to another setting.

She has some additional needs and the team have all been incredible. Nothing is too much trouble and they all work highly hard. An exceptionally welcoming setting and when milestones are hit, they seem genuinely proud of the kids. Thank you for making this next part of my little bear’s journey so fabulous. My daughter has settled into this childcare centre so well.

She has progressed massively in every development area since starting at The Little Den and the team have helped her little personality to shine through as she becomes the ever growing cheeky and clever little girl that we all adore. We have developed lovely relationships with the childcare centre team, especially those in the baby room who look after our little girl and put our full trust into leaving her in their care whilst we work. They are exceptionally attentive and ensure to update us as much as possibly throughout the day to ease our minds and to also address any issues that may arise within the childcare centre such as illnesses. We have already spoken about how much we dread the day that she leaves for school in a few years time as we absolutely adore this childcare centre and the team! Our baby girl has attended this childcare centre since she turned seven months old (currently 14 months) and she absolutely loves it!

As a nervous first time Mum, I wanted to make sure I’d chosen the right place for my baby. The manager gave us a tour and I immediately felt at ease with the setting, it was full of inviting playtime ideas, lots of natural wooden toys and an incredible outdoor playtime area that ensures the smaller babies are secure but the older kids have space to playtime together too. My daughter got more comfortable with each taster session and the team were incredible. Each of their skills are matched to the rooms they are looking after which enables the kids to form bonds with them like a little family in themselves. She’s now almost two and runs into childcare centre, she loves it so much. We use an app to see pictures and updates from the childcare centre which lets me see what my daughter has had to eat etc throughout the day. I truly couldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough,. The manager puts her heart and soul into it and it shows! My daughter has been going to Little Den Day childcare centre in Basford since she was 10 months old.

We have been truly pleased with our journey with the team throughout all of the kids’s time there. It has been a pleasure to see each kid development and develop with the expert assistance of the dedicated, expert, and well‑informed team. Regular feedback is provided throughout each day the kid attends, and any milestones are immediately reported, as are any concerns. The facilities are outstanding and well-maintained and are constantly being upgraded to create an ideal setting for discovering. Activities are engaging, well thought out and tailored to each individual. All team are attentive and approachable, so we have never had any cause for worry at any point. Our daughter was sad to leave but truly well prepared to start school. We definitely suggest the Little Den. Currently, our twin sons attend the Little Den in Basford; our elder daughter was a member of the initial group when the childcare centre first opened.

All the team are so compassionate and attentive towards my daughter. She started at Little Den at 11 months old and has developed so well since (now 2 years). She is constantly supported by the team and challenged by all the remarkable activities that the team think up. I’m consistently surprised with the new things she has learned and she only goes two days a week! I cannot suggest Little Den enough or think of any childcare centre that could rival them. Such a lovely childcare centre.
