Nestled in Heaton, Bolton, Tender Years Day Nursery fosters a warm, home-like environment where children flourish through enriching experiences. Our private nursery nurtures children ages 3 months to 5 years, operating Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm year-round.
First opening its doors in 2016, Tender Years has proudly maintained a Good Ofsted rating with outstanding qualities. Our team works tirelessly to provide individualized care that helps each child reach their full potential. We aim to achieve an Outstanding distinction in our next inspection.
Our nursery features inviting indoor classrooms and imaginative outdoor play areas designed to stimulate growth across all developmental domains. Children embark on a wealth of adventures – sensory exploration, physical challenges, language development, early math concepts, and more. Our devoted staff get to know each child’s unique interests, abilities, and areas for growth.

The days for the children are well structured, the food is all homemade and the staff are lovely. My little boy loves it. I have recommended this nursery to all my friends with children and they all love it too! Thank you tender years.

March 11, 2019 at 12:00 amThe nursery is fantastic, my daughter has been attending for the last 18 months and she’s so happy and settled there. The staff are wonderful, attentive and caring, the facilities and garden space is great, everything is new and of a high standard. They take safeguarding and the care of children very seriously. They do a wide range of activities to help children learn, develop and grow in confidence. The catering is healthy and varied and the staff are very collaborative with parents with regular updates and information. It really feels like one big happy family. I wouldn’t send my daughter anywhere else.

March 11, 2019 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been here since age 1. She loves her Aunties. They go the extra mile and I will be genuinely saddened to leave this very happy caring nursery in July. Our daughter has become a little curious person. She has become an amazing swimmer just through her nursery lessons. She knows her letters, never stops asking questions and tells us all about her fun-filled days. The newly developed garden is the icing on the cake. We love that she is full of mud and paint when we collect her. She will have happy, happy memories of Tender Years and so will we.

March 11, 2019 at 12:00 amI cannot praise the nursery and the staff enough. I knew from the second I went looking around the nursery that it was the right place for my child. I know he is cared for and looked after like he would be at home on the days he attends. And the staff have really helped him to settle. He loves the activities and is really starting to show his little character at nursery.

March 11, 2019 at 12:00 amA fantastic nursery! My child started when he was 10 months old in April 2018 and he settled in straight away. He’s thrived from the range of activities that are provided and with encouragement from staff. I also like that the children interact with all staff members, regardless of what room they are in. It’s like a home from home. The food is cooked fresh daily and is varied throughout the terms. The building is clean with a great range of facilities/activities. The new summer house and garden is fab too!

From the ground up, Tender Years is a well run, efficiently managed and has an expressively nurturing environment for children of all backgrounds. Each Aunty and member of staff take their role seriously, not to mention their continued efforts to promote growth, equality and kindness among the children and each other.
Furthermore, they strike the perfect balance between education and play, as well as regularly making changes to each room so as to always challenge and innovate those using them.
The foundation of Tender Years is to establish itself as a place where parents can trust their children can visit safely, as well as becoming their true selves, while communicating with parents every step of the way. Thank You for everything!

April 23, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son started here only a few months ago and has settled in extremely well. The team at Tender Years are so kind and patient and have made the transition to this nursery so smooth and easy for both myself and my son.
The facilities here are the best I have seen and the care of the children is second to none.

January 27, 2020 at 12:00 amWell, what can I say apart from what an amazing nursery and how pleased we are that we made the decision to send our daughter here. I really cannot praise them enough. Our daughter has been and still is experiencing some developmental delays. All of the nursery staff, including management, have been absolutely amazing from the outset in helping and supporting our daughter with her issue,s and we have noticed a massive improvement in her since attending. They really have gone above and beyond with their proactive and accommodating approach to ensure our daughter gets the best chance to meet her potential.
The nursery is absolutely immaculate and is clearly looked after and maintained to the highest standard.
If you are considering sending your child here; do not hesitate. Both my wife and I feel so comfortable leaving her there in the morning, as we know and trust that she will be well cared for. The team are now part of our family, and our daughter loves them dearly!

Over this time, he has really developed with the great staff the nursery has. The large garden is a great benefit of the nursery, allowing the children to play and interact with each other. Highly recommend Tender Years to anyone.

During my daughter’s time at the nursery, we moved 20mins further away but couldn’t bring ourselves to take out of this nursery. This is because she absolutely loves the nursery and her aunties there, so it is worth the logistical difficulties!
Whenever we have concerns about our daughter, they are quick to have conversations with us and support both her and us. We trust them completely to have her interests in mind at all times.
We particularly like the home-from-home environment at the nursery and the large garden as she loves playing outside no matter the weather. We also enjoy getting photos on the log showing what she has been doing.

February 5, 2021 at 12:00 amAfter moving to the area last year, it was important to us that we found a well-rounded nursery. Tender Years definitely fit that description.
The staff are incredible. I have twins, one of which is autistic, and the nursery has gone above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable and happy when at nursery.
Over the last year, the nursery has had to contend with covid, but I can’t I fault them. The measures they have put in place, and the way they care for the children has enabled them to stay open during a very difficult time.
I would highly recommend Tender Years Day Nursery.

February 11, 2021 at 12:00 amThis nursery is outstanding. The level of communication I receive as a parent about the day to day routine, upcoming events and the care they show towards the children is excellent.
It’s spotlessly clean and tidy. My daughter never comes home with food or activity stained clothing, which means they must wear clothing protectors.
The staff are warm and friendly, and I’m really happy with the progress my daughter has made since joining.
The setting provides the children with lovely, big and bright rooms, and the garden is an adventure in its self!
