Strode College Day Nursery

My son went here for two years, and he absolutely loved it, as did we. His speaking came on so well, and he began to communicate with us so much better. He always looked forward to going to the nursery to see his friends and see the nursery staff.
The staff are absolutely fantastic – nothing is ever too much trouble; they are always happy to help and continue to communicate with you to see if your child’s interest has changed and what things he is enjoying at home. This nursery offered so much for him to do; there were trips out on the bus, walks around the campus and even bring in activities that your child is really enjoying.
I’m really looking forward to my daughter starting in September. I really would not have sent her anywhere else, and I’m excited to see her develop and embrace all the fun and excitement that my son had previously experienced. When it was time for my son to start school, thanks to Strode College Nursery and their amazing staff, he was absolutely ready.

Great little nursery! My son started in January 2022, and our experience has been fantastic. The activities and trips that they have had have a brilliant boost to the already packed schedule. They’ve also introduced swimming once a week, which is great. All of the staff are very kind, caring and accommodating. I’ve previously used this nursery with my other two children, one being during Covid, which meant they missed out on a lot of experiences. I have to say the nursery is currently the best it’s been, and the management has vastly improved. I’ve also had help with potty training as well as help through ADPR and referral for speech and language delays, which they have acted upon very quickly. They provide healthy snacks every day and have the option of hot meals at lunchtime, which is great with such a small setting. The obvious perks from have a smaller setting is the care and attention each child receives, which is also great to see all the staff interacting with each child.

I moved my daughter to this nursery after having a few concerns over another nursery she was attending where I didn’t believe her needs were being met. My daughter is 2.5 years old and has physical delays in terms of walking/standing and has lots of involvement from the physio team and paediatricians. Ever since my daughter transferred to Strode nursery, the difference we saw was astounding. Her personality really started to shine through, always beyond excited for nursery day and making lots of friends from the get-go. The staff are always so dedicated to offering the best care and opportunities, they’ve encouraged my daughter to find her confidence, and I walk away always knowing she’s in the best hands and will have a brilliant session. I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done so far; my daughter receives so much personalised attention and 1:1 support, and mixing in a smaller nursery setting has been so positive for her.

Our son first joined Strode Nursery in September 2021. He was a lockdown child, and I was very anxious for him to go to someone who wasn’t me.
Strode staff were absolutely wonderful and kept in touch with me during those first initial months.
I could phone them at any time and ask how he was getting on.
My son’s confidence has grown and grown because of all the wonderful staff, activities and fun days he has.
Strode offers more than what we could have hoped for; they do lots of trips, they go swimming weekly, forest school and many charity events, to name a few.
I can see what my son does and get sent photos through the app, which I love reading and seeing.
The nursery staff really helped us as a family when it came to toilet training and couldn’t have been more supportive.
I would highly recommend Strode Nursery to anyone. The staff are truly wonderful and help each child flourish.
My son comes home very happy every day.
I hope my second son will attend here in the next couple of years.

This nursery is brilliant. The staff are all lovely, and my son really enjoys going. He gets so excited to go. The staff go out of their way to make fun activities for the children and can really tell how much they care. I believe my son has a bond with every staff member there – he speaks highly of them all. They even help with things at home such as potty training or behaviour. They are considerate of other family members. I cannot fault them.
