Shooting Stars Nurseries at Kings Norton

All team, management and catering crew are so welcoming and genuinely support about the youngsters in their support and their health and growth. My little one has been attending this nursery setting for almost 2-years, and it was the best decision we made to choose Shooting Stars. I could not rate or endorse this nursery setting and its team more enthusiastically. The standard is exceptional both, safety, day to day attention of our kid, education, a wide range of activities, huge outside space and also their warmth and friendliness towards us as parents.

The building itself is quite new, large and well laid out with wonderful outside space, but this is not what makes this early‑years hub – what makes it is the wonderful crew who genuinely have your child’s best interests at heart. My granddaughter has flourished since she started this childcare centre – it was a bit of a rocky start as she picked up a lot of viruses, but once she got over this hurdle, there was no stopping her! My granddaughter has formed some lovely strong bonds with several personnel members, and I am more than delighted with the service provided.

My little one treasures childcare centre, team and peers alike. They have learnt so much across a variety of topics, the food is healthy, the garden great and the personnel really welcoming. Communication from the early‑years hub is also good.

On picking my boy up, I enjoy to hear the singing that’s coming from the different rooms. The rooms are open, light and safe. My boy enjoys the food and tries things I never thought he would even try; he gets good choices and is always offered fruit and vegetables. Overall, Shooting Stars deserve the ‘outstanding’ Ofsted report. There are always welcoming faces to greet us every morning. He comes home after his day, and he has so much excitement in telling me how his day has been. The open space in the garden is remarkable, with all kinds of fun discovering through activities. My young lad has been at this nursery setting for over a year now, and he adores it. The personnel are encouraging and caring. I feel extremely comfortable leaving my little one in the hands of the personnel here, and I know that crew won’t hesitate to challenge something if they believe it needs to be challenged. They have really made a positive impact on my boy and his progress.

I wouldn’t send my youngster anywhere else, and the way she has developed since starting is so lovely, they have helped my young lady to shine. I couldn’t thank everyone that works here! I have never had a problem with the nursery setting, and whenever I have asked for help or assistance, they have always been there to lend a hand; they have been brilliant, and my little one adores being at childcare centre. Being a lockdown baby, they helped her break out of her little shell, and she is so outgoing and self‑assured. Also, the contact between the team and parents is remarkable. My daughter’s been going to the nursery setting since her first birthday and will be two next month.

Really wonderful childcare centre! Absolutely fabulous childcare centre that I can’t endorse enough. The sites are excellent, with a lovely outside space that is often used. We get great feedback every day about what they have got up to, and lovely photo updates as well. Nothing is too much trouble, and all the personnel have been so great in helping my kid settle in.

The personnel are all so welcoming and greet you even if you haven’t met before. The building is large, spotless and has excellent premises. My boy has been attending for 3-months now and absolutely treasures it. The food choice is great, exceptionally healthy, and the crew has been so accommodating and diligent in applying the cream for my child’s eczema. The baby room is exceptionally spacious, and the kids are always playing outside, in the mud kitchen, on the climbing frame and with the preschoolers at the end of the day. Staff give a good debrief at pick up, in addition to the daily diary and regular observations with photos – I look forward to these so much. I’ve never had any issues with lost items like some nurseries seem to. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the early‑years hub and personnel and couldn’t advocate it strongly enough – I have heard complaints from other nurseries that are nearly double the price!

My little one started in lockdown, and we had recently moved from Somerset. He quickly settled in and mentions personnel by name at home. However, the personnel were remarkable and welcoming. The manager ensured that I was called and this was checked out. We were both impressed with this standard of safeguarding. The premises are lovely. However, I had forgotten to give her the password. The food is brilliant, and it’s reassuring to see from the daily report that he has eaten everything. It was a difficult time and daunting taking him to a new childcare provider. I also sent my mum to collect my young lad. I would advocate Shooting Stars to any parent.

The girls and the manager have been great. When I come there is a warm feeling, all the crew are cordial. Highly suggest Shooting Stars at Kings Norton. Thank you exceptionally much, Shooting Stars, for helping my young lad! I always feel comfortable and protected leaving my boy.

My young lady also enjoys the food and says how the cook is the best ever! The early‑years hub is fantastic! Staff are always thrilled to help and are exceptionally engaging with the youngsters! The nursery setting always looks well-presented and hygienic! When any concerns are raised the crew and management are pleased to listen, help solve any concerns and reassure you.
