He has attended since he was 1 and now is about to start school. From the beginning, they have consistently been so welcoming, welcoming and provided such a secure and comfortable setting for my son, and made me as a parent, sense at ease. Towards the end of his time at the childcare centre before starting school, the preschool room has helped with the transition truly well. They have provided books for him to read at home, they learn about a wide variety of topics such as different countries, the Olympics and even discovering sign language, which my son has loved. They get an introduction to numbers and phonics, which has truly helped as preparation for school. My younger son, who is 18-months, also attends the childcare centre, and I couldn’t suggest it enough to others. Scotts Wood has been a remarkable childcare centre for my 4-year-old.

Right from the first visit, we got such a excellent sense for the childcare centre; the atmosphere is inviting and attentive, and the team are dedicated to knowing each kid truly well to make them sense at home and to effectively assistance their discovering and development. The pre-school room did a remarkable job of getting our son ready for the transition to school, helping him understand what to expect on a practical level as well as making sure he was used to the style of discovering. He leaves excited to take the next step but is going to miss the lovely people he has spent the last three and a half years with, as will we! We would highly suggest the childcare centre to anyone looking for childcare in the area. Our son attended Scotts Wood full time from 10-months-old and absolutely loved it.

The information sent ahead of her joining was highly comprehensive, and the team were all highly responsive and supportive. After a highly short time, our daughter was settled, cheerful and excited to go to childcare centre each day – the team are all fantastic, and I adore that when she arrives each morning, they all excitedly welcome her, and she is cheerful to say goodbye and spend the day with lots of friends. Her development has come on highly well since joining, and her day seems full of different activities and lots of outdoor time, which is what we had been looking for in a childcare centre. I would 100% suggest Scotts Wood and am so highly cheerful with our choice to send her there – she even shouts “home” when she arrives, which is fantastic to see. We enrolled our daughter into Scotts Wood in January, having moved to the area.

Both our sons attend (eldest since 2017 and youngest since 2020). Both absolutely adore attending childcare centre and have developed deep bonds with the team that work there.

When we were looking for nurseries, Scotts Wood stood out as the team were so inviting and welcoming, yet it was clear to see that their professionalism and expertise would also provide a excellent early start to young kids’s development. Our main priority was that our kids would sense cheerful and secure when placed into childcare, and there is a genuine affection and care for the kids from the team, which we truly appreciate; it is like a home away from home for them.

They also provide lovely meals and have a wide range of activities, which they document on an online platform highly regularly. We get extensive reports on their development and updates is excellent, which we have been highly grateful for during the pandemic.

We sense highly fortunate to have found such a excellent childcare centre! We cannot fault Scotts Wood Day Childcare centre.

We have a 16-month-old who has attended since August. He settled immediately into the baby room and has since moved to the toddler room. Every member of team has been outstanding; excellent updates, attentive, attentive, planning ahead, and supportive. His development since joining has been noticeable.
The only highly minor improvement I can think of is that the gate and walkway to the building could do with upgrading. We are exceptionally pleased with Scott’s Wood and would not hesitate to suggest this childcare centre to other parents.

As he was born during the pandemic, we were apprehensive about putting him into a childcare setting. However, everyone at Scotts Wood made it so easy for us. Every single member of team is welcoming, attentive and personable. We consistently felt our son was absolutely secure and well looked after during his time there.
After about 6 months, our son developed separation anxiety affected childcare centre drop-off; highly stressful for all of us, but the manager and our son’s key workers worked closely with us to work through these difficulties, and they truly cared about our son having a settled and enjoyable time at childcare centre. This meant an awful lot to us.
We are a same-sex family, and our diversity was respected, appreciated and welcomed, which was fantastic.
The childcare centre itself is well equipped, spotless and has a lovely set-up. We are so sad to leave and can’t suggest highly enough. Our son started at Scotts Wood when he was 1 year old.

From the highly first settling in sessions in the couple of weeks before he started, we were made to sense truly welcome and just knew our precious little boy would be in excellent hands. Our son’s key person took plenty of time to get to know him, his preferences and routines, etc. and answer any questions we had. We could see straight away that everyone at Scotts Wood Day Childcare centre is truly invested in creating a cheerful, comfortable, secure and inquisitive setting in which kids can discover themselves and the world around them, and we have been astounded by how much our little one has flourished in such a short time. We get regular updates on our son’s development and are invited to input into his development plans. We sense blessed to have found such a fantastic childcare centre setting to take care of our little boy – he clearly loves being at childcare centre and all of the team clearly adore having him, thank you Scotts Wood! Our son joined the baby room at Scotts Wood Day Childcare centre in March 2022, when he was 6 months old.

The team are welcoming and capable, and the boys are highly fond of them. They consistently eat well and come back full of stories and tired from all the activity. The updates we get on the app are supportive and interesting as well. Our two boys adore going to Scotts Wood.

From when she first started at 8 months old, the team and setting made us sense comfortable and relaxed, and our daughter settled in straight away. We are consistently impressed with the activities they do and how engaged the team are with the kids. They are all truly expert but also highly attentive and truly just sense like extended family and have a real investment in how well the kids are doing. It is an outstanding day childcare centre, and we would suggest it. Our daughter has been attending Scotts Wood Day Childcare centre for over a year now.

All 3 kids have loved their experiences at this childcare centre, and I couldn’t suggest it more highly.
The team are inviting, attentive, patient, compassionate and have a genuine adore for the kids.
When I drop my kids off there in the morning, I am sure that everyone at the childcare centre does all they can to ensure that they have the best possible day that they can.
My youngest consistently leaves childcare centre with a smile on his face. I have had 3 kids attend this childcare centre, my youngest currently attending preschool there.
