Raphael Nursery is a group of French bilingual nurseries in Clapham and Hammersmith. We are a family owned setting with two nurseries, one in Clapham and one in Hammersmith.
In 2021, Raphael Clapham Nursery received the Top 20 London nurseries award. This is a testimony of the quality of our teaching and learning environment for our children in Clapham and Hammersmith.
Our nurseries welcome children aged between 3 months and 5 years old. Our bilingual French nurseries are open 51 weeks a year from 8am to 6pm.
We provide a loving culture and creative exploration through the eyes of the child. By building on Montessori methods and linguistic arts, we have developed our unique curriculum. As a result, we prepare a child to excel in their foundation years. They can then move through life with a strong ability to achieve excellence.
Your child’s early years are vital. It is the foundation for thinking, language, vision, attitudes and aptitudes. This is the perfect time for children to learn foreign languages. Our teachers in our nurseries in Clapham and Hammersmith speak French and English. These early years are ideal for a teacher to guide a child’s willingness and ability to learn. In our nurseries, bilingualism helps children to make sense of the world around them. It also helps them to discover the joy of communication in our Clapham and Hammersmith bilingual French nurseries.

July 28, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son transitioned from a previous nursery into Raphael after we moved house and he loves his new nursery. The staff are great and very caring, the kids do amazing activities that you get to see on a daily basis through the app and the artwork they take home and they have great facilities.

He has lots of friends in the nursery and learns a lot, we are very happy with my child’s development. There is an app with daily updates which is great and as a parent I am always informed of the learning activities including photos, food, nap timing, changes and so..
the staff is really professional and friendly. Clean and nice. The nursery is next to Hammersmith station which made easier to drop my child at the nursery and get the tube to work.

The staff are very friendly and attentive and are always happy to answer any questions. My baby loves her key teachers, especially one in particular as she was really helpful during my baby’s settling-in process. Seeing my baby’s happy face is a big relief for me.
