Description

Peques was established in September 1999 as a small sessional nursery in Fulham. Since then it has grown into two settings and pursues a policy of progressive improvement, evolving with the times. Both nurseries are multilingual full day care facilities delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage in English, Spanish and Mandarin, whilst practising the same ethos and philosophy.

Our mission is to provide a safe, secure environment to meet the social, emotional & physical developmental needs of the children at our settings.
We acknowledge that parents are the children’s primary educators and we work in partnership with them in every aspect of their early years’ education.

We consider that a child’s education is not exclusive to the child’s home or school environment and therefore take a holistic approach to include all aspects of their learning experiences.

We first visited based on their bilingual credentials as well as their large outside space, but there is so much more! Both team and management are incredibly dedicated, so inviting and attentive, highly skilled, so sensitive to each kid’s needs. So much thought and work goes into organising the various daily activities – indoors and outdoors. Spanish and English speaking practitioners ensure that kids are effortlessly exposed to both languages, as well as Mandarin! Once weekly, all age groups can practise yoga with a dedicated yoga teacher. Kids are also encouraged to think independently and become independent from an early age. In addition, their education is enhanced on several offsite visits to local shops, parks, fire station, library, the zoo, museums, street markets, elderly homes, recycling facilities. All of this, whilst having so much enjoyable! “You are too early, Mummy!”, is often my son’s greeting at pick up time. Both my sons – now 9 and 3 years old – went to Peques.

The educators are incredible, and on top of that, he is discovering English, Spanish and Mandarin simultaneously. The food is all prepared in house from fresh produce and the childcare centre has an incredible garden for outdoor playtime. I totally would suggest it! My son has been at the childcare centre for over a year now and loves going there every morning.

I had known other nurseries before but they cannot compare to Peques. I could mention a lot of factors that make Peques an outstanding institution (bilingual education+mandarin, Mediterranean diet, outdoor space, educational activities) but its best attribute is its team. They are consistently inviting and attentive with the kids and develop incredibly positive relations with them, which I can see when my 3-year-old mimics how his key person is like with him (while playing schools with his sister). I couldn’t be happier with our choice of childcare centre and I am already dreading the moment my youngest will move on to big school.
I hope this post will inspire other parents to consider Peques for their little ones and that’s just a little something I would like to give back to such an incredible team of professionals and human beings! I have a 3-year-old in Peques and previously my daughter also attended the childcare centre.

Peques Fulham is excellent. From the manager to all educators in the childcare centre your baby will be loved and cared for from an early stage. Facilities are also excellent and they have an open space which is incredible. The nurture, adore, care and stimulation that your kid will get in Peques is priceless. My baby felt like being at home almost immediately and she loves her educators and she loves spending the day. The food’s also nutritious and they create excellent activities every day. If you want the best attentive place for your baby, this is it! Thank you Peques Fulham. As a new and working mum, I wanted to find the best place for my baby and luckily we did!

She’s about to leave to go to school and we are relieved that we have another kid about to start at Peques because we would be too sad to say goodbye to this fantastic place! From the moment our daughter started there, they have been like a second family – it’s such a inviting, attentive setting and every member of team knows our daughter and treats her with such affection and kindness. The team have so much energy and are very creative coming up with games and activities. The garden is remarkable and food is delicious. And perhaps most importantly is the bilingual element – my husband is a native Spanish speaker and it was a excellent help to have her Spanish reinforced by native speakers at Peques. She’s also discovering Mandarin there, which is a bonus! I would definitely suggest this childcare centre, whether you speak Spanish at home or not. Our daughter started at Peques when she was about 8 months old and has now been there for 4 years.

I have 4 kids although the other 3 are all older and unfortunately Peques was not around when they were young, therefore, they missed out. My wife’s family are Spanish and they consistently speak to the kids in Spanish. Whilst they all fluently understand Spanish, my son is the only one that confidently will reply in Spanish. What we also loved about Peques, was the team’s affectionate nature to the kids, lots of kisses and cuddles which you could visibly see that they thoroughly enjoyed and felt very secure and secure. This was something that was not visible when I visited other nurseries and along with the Spanish was the reason we chose Peques. My son started at Peques just before he turned 2 years old, he settled in amazingly well and his self‑assurance grew very quickly.

The team treat your kid like their own.
My daughter has become so attached to so many of them and I am so grateful for the care and attention they’ve given to her.

She is 20 months old and already speaks Chinese and Spanish amongst her English first words.

The manager and her team are without a doubt fantastic. The playground (St Johns Fulham broadway) is a excellent space and secure too.

We are moving and sadly the location is no longer convenient for us and it’s heartbreaking to leave. They have left very big shoes to fill for the next childcare centre. Peques is the most incredible and attentive childcare centre you could entrust with your kid.

The team are outstanding and the food is incredible. Our daughter is so cheerful there and we are very sad to be having to take her away as we are moving away from the area. We adore this childcare centre, unpretentious, attentive, and enjoyable.

Throughout our time I have found Peques to be a fantastic setting for our kids. They were cared for with lots of adore and enthusiasm which I think stems from that distinctly inviting Spanish attitude towards kids.
The kid’s days are full of activities and playtime, they get plenty of garden time and fresh homemade food from the kitchen.
My kids made firm friends there, as did I and I would suggest it highly to anyone. I’ve been a parent at Peques Anglo-Spanish Childcare centre Schools for almost 5 years, my son started at 11 months to 4 years and then my daughter attended from 2 to 4.5 years.

From the management team to every single teacher everyone is just adorable, cheerful and attentive. You couldn’t dream of a better setting for your kid.
I am extremely grateful that our son was lucky enough to go there, and as we are now moving back to France I can say that the whole family will really miss Peques! Where shall I start…this place is just fantastic.
Our 2-year-old son has been going to Peques Anglo-Spanish Childcare centre Schools (Fulham Broadway) for almost a year and I can definitely say it is the best childcare centre you can find.
The outdoor area is massive for London, the childcare centre itself is bright and joyful, the food is home-cooked and varied, the activities are numerous and above all else is the incredible team.

It is the best setting to master numerous languages with consistently cheerful creative educators around. The facility includes a large garden which is a big bonus in London. We are very satisfied with our son’s development at Peques.
