September 24, 2024 at 3:29 amHer settling sessions have soon become a heartbreaking scene for me. However all the educators in her class were very supportive, they have tried different approaches and ways to help my daughter during this difficult time, slowly to rebuild her self‑assurance, and now she becomes herself again, cheerful and confident! Our daughter has experienced a significant transition (moving and changing childcare centre at the same time) during the time she joined Park Hill.

September 24, 2024 at 1:09 pmEducators are outstanding, they give private attention to each kid and help with their specific developments and needs. Childcare centre benefits from schools’ outdoor and indoor spaces and kids often playtime in the outdoor areas and get fresh air all the time even during winter months. Our daughter developed herself a lot since she started Park Hill, she is now in Second Steps in the childcare centre and she literally loves going to Park Hill. As full-time working parents, we sense very lucky to know that our daughter is in great hands during the day. The only thing that the childcare centre can improve is the daily updates with the parents, we wish we would learn more about their daily activities and meals. But apart from that, we are very cheerful with the childcare centre and wish our daughter to continue to the preparatory school. Our daughter has been attending Park Hill childcare centre since she was two years old.

September 28, 2024 at 9:46 amMy kid has never not wanted to go. He has made some lovely friends and talks about his experiences with animation and excitement. The staffing team take extra care to develop each kid with a focus on individual needs. They build close relationships with the kids due to it being relatively small. The discovering and extracurricular activity is delivered to a very great level. It’s home from home and I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest it to others! Park Hill School and Childcare centre is a inviting, nurturing and attentive place to be.

September 29, 2024 at 5:03 amWe are also very cheerful with the school direction under the Headteacher.
Strongly recommended! Our son has attended childcare centre and reception since January 2018 and we are extremely cheerful with the school, the team, the overall quality of the teaching and most importantly, the development our son has made since.

October 3, 2024 at 5:36 amInitially, we thought he would struggle with adaptation to a new setting but he’s been quite cheerful to go there every day from the very beginning. He is full of joy whenever we pick him up and surely likes spending time there. Thanks to the educators and team for taking care of our little ones. Our son joined Park Hill School & Childcare centre (second steps) this school year after a move from overseas.

October 4, 2024 at 4:26 amThe best decision I have made for their future. A small school with small classes which means extra attention. There’s a real community amongst the parents and the school. My kids have flourished at Park Hill.

October 11, 2024 at 11:03 pmWithin one month we increased her days to four days. Her development over this period has been evidenced with a confident young kid who is still on two and half years old. Her speech, physical movements and ability to converse and care for others is on show daily. The school has the right number of team/kids ratio, the childcare centre is cleaned daily and evident. Respect is taught right from the start of the day when educators including the headmaster come rain or sunshine/snow stand outside to welcome every kid with a handshake. Preparation for the working world at such an early age is evident and paramount. My daughter has quickly picked up confidently positive movements from her educators and I cannot be more delighted with her development. My daughter started her settling in sessions in July 2022 and then in August three days a week.

November 4, 2024 at 7:08 pmHe was very shy at the beginning and was not social at all. The educators were very patient and attentive to help him settle in. After six months, he is quite confident, talkative and outgoing. He enjoys various activities at childcare centre and has developed a lot in his language/updates. He is also very social now and interacts with peers/educators actively. We can sense he is very cheerful in this childcare centre. My boy joined Park Hill Childcare centre when he was two.

December 27, 2024 at 9:28 amThe team are welcoming and enthusiastic and, even with the many Covid restrictions, great at involving you in your kid’s development. It was a excellent foundation for his move to reception this year. The childcare centre classes are very much included with the rest of the school and are involved in things like school productions which is excellent for them (and very sweet). I would definitely suggest Park Hill. My son moved from a day childcare centre to Park Hill School & Childcare centre for Second Steps and settled in immediately.

January 10, 2025 at 8:37 amIt’s been a excellent childcare centre. The educators and team were consistently very welcoming and welcoming. My daughter was consistently cheerful to go to childcare centre and done many enjoyable things there. I would definitely use the childcare centre again. Thank you all at Park Hill School for making my daughter and my journey a lovely one! My daughter has been going to Park Hill Childcare centre from first steps (2 years old) to second steps and has now left ready for reception.

January 13, 2025 at 4:57 amThe childcare centre offered settle in sessions where I got to see the educators in action. They are all very attentive and very attentive to my son when he was upset and crying. They would hold him and sing songs with him, and trying all ways to distract and comfort him. After a few months my son settled very well and is now cheerful to go to childcare centre every day. He has gradually become more independent and social. This is all thanks to the team taking great care of him. Our son started in First Steps this January and we were concerned he would struggle to settle as he had never been to childcare centre before and he is quite a shy boy.

February 6, 2025 at 7:38 amBoth of my kids have been enrolled at the childcare centre and we as parents can’t speak more highly of the level of care and nurturing that they received there. As parents, you often wonder if your kid will be cheerful once you have dropped them off or whether they are struggling, but you can rest assured that the team go out of their way to ensure that they are entertained throughout the day and will assistance parents to overcome any initial teething issues when they first start. The Manager and her team played a vital role in helping get my daughter settled in so quickly, especially with her having had little to no time away from my wife and I, due to the Covid pandemic. They have left a delightful, lasting impression on her, to the point that her eyes light up when we mention her teacher’s names or that she will be going to school that morning. We can’t thank them enough! Parkhill Childcare centre is run by a fabulous team of specialist childcare centre educators and teaching assistants.

February 18, 2025 at 10:48 amIt’s a fantastic setting where the educators are attentive and proactive, as well as incredibly creative with their daily activities.
When we did the initial visit, the Headmaster took us round for a tour and we were able to visit each class. When we got to Year 6 (age 10-11), the Headmaster asked what the kids were up to; one little girl said that they had been reading the Shakespeare playtime Richard III, another rose to say that they’d all written their own version of the playtime, and then a final kid got up to say that one of those plays had been chosen and they were going to make it on green screen.
I was struck not just by the self‑assurance and the engagement of the kids, but also the opportunities they were being given – I’d have loved that when I was little – with that and the classroom technology focus, it’s an easy decision to keep our son here right the way through. Our son is now in his second year at Park Hill School & Childcare centre and we’re really cheerful there.

March 15, 2025 at 2:15 amAs a result of the care, he has settled in quickly and particularly loves the outdoor facilities. Within a few short weeks, we have noticed his vocabulary expanding and his curiosity for discovering has increased. I would thoroughly suggest the childcare centre and wish we had found it sooner! My kid has recently started at the childcare centre and has been made to sense very welcome.

April 1, 2025 at 5:10 amThe educators are attentive and very attentive, we could not be happier. The team as well is consistently very positive, there is consistently a welcoming smile when they open the door and you sense you are leaving your kid in great hands, which is very important for parents! My girl has blossomed at Park Hill.

May 20, 2025 at 12:49 pmHaving kept him at home during the pandemic until he was two, he had some catching up to do. A year later his growth has been incredible to watch. He has grown in self‑assurance and is fond of all the team. Impressively the childcare centre is constantly evaluating areas for development and regularly communicate any feedback on what they are doing and what we can do to reinforce things. Could not suggest it more highly. Park Hill has provided a nurturing and wholesome setting for our son to develop in childcare centre.

June 4, 2025 at 2:39 amBoth First and Second Steps team are highly qualified and keep parents informed of the development of kids and work collaboratively to ensure that kids achieve their best. Park Hill has provided an attentive and nurturing setting for our three kids.

June 27, 2025 at 5:06 pmOur son, who started there when just turned two, has absolutely flourished. Now in his pre-school year, and thanks to the exceptional educators and team, he is confident, cheerful and making exceptional development in all aspects of discovering (from maths to woodland school and everything in between). The whole school ethos gives even the littlest kids a real sense of belonging and excellent role models to look up to. I would suggest the childcare centre to anyone looking to give their kid a excellent foundation to take into their school years and beyond. Park Hill is a fantastic childcare centre.
