Oak Tree Day Nursery

I would like to thank the team at Oak Tree for the great job they did in looking after our Daughter from the age of 9 months, especially the staff in the baby room! We felt like she was really loved and cared for, and we know she definitely enjoyed as she would run in to play with her friends in the mornings.

I have had two children attend Oak Tree over the last 8 years and can say that both children were well cared for and really felt like it was an extension of their family. The staff have always been very helpful and friendly. It is very clean, they have a great outside area for the children, the music lessons were always a favourite. Thank you to the amazing staff for always caring for my children like they were their own.

My son has been going to this nursery for 5-6 months now and he has come on so much, he really enjoys going and loves the staff. It was the best decision sending him to Oak Tree nursery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. He really loves it there. I would so recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been hugely happy here. She has made new friends and has really enjoyed the care and learning received by all the carers/teachers who worked with her at the nursery. She is very excited to leave and start big school with many of her friends that will be joining her there, but I will be sad to say goodbye to the lovely staff at Oak Tree. However, life moves on.

I really cannot recommend Oak Tree Day Nursery highly enough. Over the last four years, they have taken wonderful care of two of my sons – showing them patience, kindness and love. The staff are very professional, dedicated and care very deeply for the children. Communication is great – we receive regular updates throughout the day about food/sleep/toilet/play, so I always know what my son has been up to. The food is nutritious and varied, and children are supported to learn to eat independently. The premises are always clean, and the rooms have a great range of toys/books. There is also a large well-equipped play area outside (well away from the sounds/smells of the road). Staff ensure that the children spend time outdoors every day. The nursery also provides additional activities, such as french/music lessons – or excursions. My sons have both loved their time at the nursery.

I can’t praise Oak Tree highly enough. The staff are so warm and caring and committed to the children, as well as really communicative to the parents. Also, the extra things they offer like Zoo Lab visits and singing sessions are just so great. My daughter thrived there, in spite of all the disruptions of coronavirus, and the staff felt almost like family by the end.

Wonderful and outstanding nursery, our oldest daughter was so happy there and our youngest is there now. She bounces in every morning and doesn’t look back. The staff are so caring attentive and provide daily updates and progress reports, they really know how to bring the best out of the children, help them with their learning journeys and more important, keep them safe and very happy.

We feel fortunate that our child could attend Oak Tree Nursery for 3 and a 1/2 years. Ever since she joined at 6-months-old, all staff have been amazing, providing a loving and nurturing environment in which our daughter flourished. Not only the excellent staff-children ratio, but the care of her dedicated key person meant close attention to her individual needs and development. In terms of activities, there is a great mixture between play, forest school, music, numeracy, literacy, cultural activities and learning to be mindful and caring with each other. Seeing her run happily through the gates in the morning was always so reassuring, as was picking her up bubbling joyfully about friends and things experienced and learned. The way the staff managed the difficult time of the pandemic by staying in touch during lockdown, and carefully reintegrating the children, also made nursery a place of safety and stability. We will always be thankful to you and most highly recommend Oak Tree Nursery.

This nursery and preschool are available for all to use, not just students and staff of the Uni! The best thing about it is that there are no top-up fees so an economical childcare option. Our son has blossomed here. The staff are amazing and they have helped our little boy grow and be the best that he can be. The staff’s names are mentioned more than mine is in our house! The environment is stunning, the buildings are set on the rural grounds of Bath Spa Uni. There is a private enclosed garden, surrounded by fields, woods, a beautiful river and livestock. The children explore the wider grounds regularly on their various expeditions. Our little one spends his days making mud pies in the outdoor kitchen and running from morning until night, he has a lot of energy. His learning has come on leaps and bounds and his independence has gone from strength to strength. We love Oak Tree Day Nursery and have no hesitation in recommending it to any family looking to give their little ones the best start in life.

Several of our children have attended Oak Tree Nursery, and we cannot stress enough what a fantastic start it has given them in life. Superb staff, a beautiful location, and really genuine care and attention given to each of them. We’ve seen our children and others flourish at Oak Tree.

My daughter has been in Oak Tree Day Nursery since she was one year old and now she is about four years old.
I am very grateful to the staff for taking such excellent care of my little girl and for teaching her so many things and making her day so much fun and training her. My daughter will miss them so much, thank you for everything.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for over three months now and I couldn’t praise all of the team enough. I was worried about her settling in but her nursery aunties have been beyond amazing. We’ve been supported through every step, no question left unanswered and I was kept up to date with her day. My daughter is a cuddly baby and her teachers ensured she’s cuddled as often as she needs. It was reassuring to see that our needs as a family were respected. Within these few months, my daughter’s development skyrocketed. I see her hitting her milestones and I am certain that it’s a big impact from the amazing team at Oak Tree Day Nursery. The place itself is big, clean, and has various rooms that can provide different stimulation. Food is fresh and nutritious, my daughter wasn’t too interested in solids before nursery and now she eats everything! It makes my heart grow when I see her smiling at her nursery aunties before we walk in. Thank you!

What a fabulous nursery! The staff are so kind and caring. They have done a brilliant job helping to get our four-year-old son ready for school in all sorts of ways.
Our son loves the range of activities on offer – including sports, dancing, French and the visits from the animal man. Last month they even organised a lovely excursion to the farm.
