Oak Tree Day Nursery

She has made new friends and has really enjoyed the care and discovering received by all the carers/educators who worked with her at the childcare centre. She is very excited to leave and start big school with many of her friends that will be joining her there, but I will be sad to say goodbye to the lovely team at Oak Tree. However, life moves on. My daughter has been hugely cheerful here.

It is a simple day‑care on a beautiful campus with well qualified and long standing team. The team are bright and cheerful every morning and they have quickly got to know my little boy truly well. My little boy adores coming in and I able see he is extremely well cared for by all the team there. Our little boy started at the day‑care a few months ago and they made his transition from being at home with mum to being in day‑care full time an incredibly smooth process for all involved. Oak Tree Nursery is a superb place.

We will consistently be thankful to you and most strongly suggest Oak Tree Nursery. The way the team managed the difficult time of the pandemic by staying in touch during lockdown, and carefully reintegrating the kids, also made day‑care a place of safety and stability. Seeing her run happily through the gates in the morning was consistently so reassuring, as was picking her up bubbling joyfully about friends and things experienced and learned. In terms of sessions, there is a terrific mixture between play, forest school, music, numeracy, literacy, cultural sessions and development to be mindful and attentive with each other. Not only the outstanding team- kids ratio, but the care of her dedicated key person meant close attention to her individual needs and development. Ever ever since she joined at 6- months- old, all team have been remarkable, providing a loving and nurturing space in which our little girl flourished. We sense fortunate that our kid might attend Oak Tree Nursery for 3 and a 1/ 2 years.

We are moving out of the area and are really sad to have to take her out of their care. The team are fantastic – particularly my little girl’s key worker, room leader and the manager. Excellent activities including Zoo Lab on a regular basis. The app they use to share updates through the day is so excellent and provides peace of mind that my little one is cheerful and discovering lots! We get regular updates from her key worker about the things she is working on development-wise with her as well. Updates is very great and the manager consistently has time for you even though it is quite clear she is a busy lady! Thank you Oak Tree Day Childcare centre team – we are sad to leave you! My little girl has loved Oak Tree Day Childcare centre; she comes home a cheerful girl every day.

The team are consistently very compassionate and welcoming every morning – even when putting away the buggy: I can hear through the window how they greet my daughter when she enters the room: consistently with a big smile and are very cheerful to see her. Adore that their remarkable outside space is used so much, particularly now during lockdown: so important for them to be able to get out and playtime every day. Adore the regular observations on the app that are linked to the Development Matters guidelines: so important to know how she is progressing and the next steps needed to help her along the way. Really delighted that we chose this childcare centre for our daughter – couldn’t ask for better care. My 15 month old daughter has been attending Oak Tree childcare centre since she was ten months and consistently loves going in every day (So much so that I usually don’t even get a goodbye wave or even a glance back)!

I was worried about her settling in but her childcare centre aunties have been beyond incredible. We’ve been supported through every step, no question left unanswered and I was kept up to date with her day. My daughter is a cuddly baby and her educators ensured she’s cuddled as often as she needs. It was reassuring to see that our needs as a family were respected. Within these few months, my daughter’s development skyrocketed. I see her hitting her milestones and I am certain that it’s a big impact from the incredible team at Oak Tree Day Childcare centre. The place itself is big, spotless, and has various rooms that can provide different stimulation. Food is fresh and nutritious, my daughter wasn’t too interested in solids before childcare centre and now she eats everything! It makes my heart grow when I see her smiling at her childcare centre aunties before we walk in. Thank you! My daughter has been attending this childcare centre for over three months now and I couldn’t praise all of the team enough.

Two of our kids have been there and currently, one is in the childcare centre. The owner is the best lady, professionally looking after everything. The manager is incredible, attentive, educated and the politest manager, very attentive and full of adore. All the educators looked after the kids as if they were their kids. We sense as if they are part of our family after many years of bringing our kids there, from my 8-year-old daughter and son, and another son is currently in the childcare centre. We highly suggest this childcare centre, full of excellent activities such as sports and music. Food menu is top quality and playtime area is fantastic. I and my partner rate this childcare centre as the best option to leave our kids.

She bounces in every morning and doesn’t look back. The team are so attentive attentive and provide daily updates and development reports, they really know how to bring the best out of the kids, help them with their discovering journeys and more important, keep them secure and very cheerful. Fantastic and outstanding childcare centre, our oldest daughter was so cheerful there and our youngest is there now.

The management is consistently available and very efficient. My daughter spent just 10 months there but really seems to have got a lot out of, she learnt a lot, made friends and consistently spoke fondly of her educators. It’s a lovely childcare centre with qualified, inviting and involved team.

We adore Oak Tree Day Nursery and have no hesitation in recommending it to any family looking to give their little ones the best start in life. His development has come on leaps and bounds and his independence has gone from strength to strength. Our little one spends his days making mud pies in the outdoor kitchen and running from morning until night, he has a lot of energy. The kids explore the wider grounds regularly on their various expeditions. There is a private enclosed garden, surrounded by fields, woods, a beautiful river and livestock. The space is stunning, the buildings are set on the rural grounds of Bath Spa Uni. The team’ s names are mentioned more than mine is in our house! The team are remarkable and they have helped our little boy grow and be the best that he able be. Our little boy has blossomed here. The best thing about it is that there are no top- up fees so an economical childcare option. This day‑care and preschool are available for all to use, not just students and team of the Uni!

The team are so inviting and attentive and committed to the kids, as well as really communicative to the parents. Also, the extra things they offer like Zoo Lab visits and singing sessions are just so excellent. My daughter thrived there, in spite of all the disruptions of coronavirus, and the team felt almost like family by the end. I can’t praise Oak Tree highly enough.

My daughter will miss them so much, thank you for everything. My daughter has been in Oak Tree Day Childcare centre since she was one year old and now she is about four years old.
I am very grateful to the team for taking such outstanding care of my little girl and for teaching her so many things and making her day so much enjoyable and training her.

Over the last four years, they have taken fantastic care of two of my sons – showing them patience, kindness and adore. The team are very expert, dedicated and care very deeply for the kids. Updates is excellent – we receive regular updates throughout the day about food/sleep/toilet/playtime, so I consistently know what my son has been up to. The food is nutritious and varied, and kids are supported to learn to eat independently. The premises are consistently spotless, and the rooms have a excellent range of toys/books. There is also a large well-equipped playtime area outside (well away from the sounds/smells of the road). Team ensure that the kids spend time outdoors every day. The childcare centre also provides additional activities, such as french/music lessons – or excursions. My sons have both loved their time at the childcare centre. I really cannot suggest Oak Tree Day Childcare centre highly enough.
