Modern Montessori International, MMI Preschool, Raynes Park

My 3 children are/have been part of the school. The new school manager is amazing, and as a parent, I can confidently send my youngest knowing she in safe hands. The school has a warm, cosy environment and all teachers are amazing. You can speak to them at any time about your concerns and they help you to understand the best way to resolve them. My daughter runs straight into the class without hesitation as she feels safe, happy and looked after. The school has a variety of activities, provide computer and extra languages as an external activity.

MMI Raynes Park is a lovely nursery. My son was there from the beginning until the end and he loved it and was so happy there.
I will keep an extremely good memory of it and will send my other son there too.
The teachers love what they do and are so patient and good with the children. I love the Montessori method of teaching and I believe my son learned so
much thanks to his teachers and the environment. I loved that it’s different from a full on daycare and that the day ends at 3:45.
My son learned how to share through them and I see how happy he is.
I couldn’t imagine a better nursery for my child. They are very caring and this is what I wanted.

Such a fantastic nursery, my daughter has loved it and we are sad she is leaving to start reception! The manager and staff are all fantastic ladies and have made every day such a delight for my daughter. The outside area is fantastic, such a rare find in London. All of the activities and learning my daughter has been involved in has nurtured her confidence, independence and her sense of belonging. Thank you, MMI Raynes Park!

This is a wonderful nursery. My daughter has been extremely happy here. The outdoor area is unique and the children are able to play outdoors a lot. The learning is excellent and the activities they do are really great including cooking, Spanish and play ball all included. I cannot recommend this nursery more highly. The manager is a one in a million.

My daughter went to MMI from May 2016 till July 2020. She didn’t speak English at the time, and now she speaks fluent English. It’s a very warm and welcoming environment, and the children are very happy there. The headteacher is very flexible and understanding, always willing to cater/accommodate for your child’s needs. They have music lessons, cooking classes, sports and Spanish every week included in the price. Plus the key person does one to one teaching with your child using Montessori approach and technics. My daughter passed the entrance test for the high school all thanks to the staff at MMI; I haven’t done any extra work with her at home. My two younger children will be going to MMI, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I can’t rate MMI nursery highly enough. It brings me so much joy to be able to send my daughter here and she absolutely loves going to school each day.
My daughter was just 2 years when she started at the school and was very nervous about being left alone in a strange environment – The warmth and love provided by the amazing team soon helped her to settle in. The staff are wonderful and super attentive to the individual needs of the children and encourage them to develop skills doing what they enjoy the most.
My daughter is always talking about the teacher’s and fellow pupils when she is at home – they are a special part of her life. She especially loves the little celebrations parties they have when it’s a birthday.
My daughter started at the nursery 6 months ago, in the middle of lockdown and the staff made me feel confident that every step had been taken to ensure the space was in line with the government guidelines for Covid protection and the health and safety of the children was prioritised.

My son has been extremely happy at Modern Montessori pre-school. He settled in very easily and has loved going to school since day one. He has made secure relationships with his teachers and friends and has greatly developed since he attended the setting. One thing that amazed me was how confident and independent at doing things for himself, he became shortly after he attended the nursery. My little boy has now started to recognise letters and numbers and his joy of learning is visible and naturally nurtured at Modern Montessori school.
The facility is bright, tidy and clean and the teachers do a fantastic job at keeping the school safe and clean, daily. The outdoor is amazing and cleverly used to further support the learning, and a superb play area too. The management is professional and friendly and always available to listen to and work in partnership with parents.
I highly recommend Modern Montessori pre-school as a fantastic start to your child’s early years of education.

We are feeling blessed to have this nursery in our area. Not only it is a Montessori approach led school, the staff are very experienced, trained and don’t change fast as in many other nurseries. The place is spacious, sunny and the garden is simply gorgeous. I’m so happy my both children can enjoy this vast open space during the day, especially comparing to other nurseries in the area. The location is very safe and nice, being in middle of the park. It’s also very handy to go to the playground with children afterwards which is two steps away. We also love the fact that the nursery has mixed age, the younger children are learning from older ones, the older ones are learning to be caring about younger ones and there is no normalization of age development models. The nursery is also more affordable then many other ones. It would suit parents with flexible schedule, though as the nursery works during school hours, it is closed during all the school holidays.

We moved our son to MMI Raynes Park after two years at a local nursery and so were naturally nervous about how well he would settle in a new environment. We really liked the fact the settling was tailored to the individual child and thanks to the wonderful staff, he was asking to be left on his own by day two! The environment and teaching approach is completely suited to him with various rooms, a plethora of activities and both in house and external, pre Covid-19. They also have a great outdoor space. In eighteen months he has learnt a wealth of new skills from pouring, measuring, writing and he is starting to read. We have seen him grow into a very independent and caring four year old who is really well prepared for primary school. The fact he and many of his friends run into the preschool each day is testament to the nurturing environment the manager and her staff have created. By far the best decision we have made so far for our son and we will be forever grateful to the incredible preschool team!

My son attended the pre school for 2 years. Our experience is extremely positive. The teachers are very dedicated, experienced and genuinely like working with kids of this age. The environment is accommodative, child led and nurturing. The kids in the morning are happy and rush towards the gates – which says a lot!
