September 24, 2024 at 11:14 pmI could not have asked for a better setting for our son to be in. Our son has hearing difficulties, the team have been attentive from day one and consistently have his best interest at heart. He goes five days a week and loves it there, we’re able to keep track of his progression online and the team consistently give us detailed updates everyday.
There’s a wide variety of discovering activities, the meal plans are excellent and our son is more than cheerful. His development since starting has been fantastic to see. The team at the childcare centre are doing a remarkable job.

December 8, 2024 at 4:30 pmIt’s his first journey of childcare centre (or even being away from me), but he’s grown so much in self‑assurance and now happily waves me goodbye at the door.
The team have made a huge effort to get the childcare centre up and running, and everything is top quality. The team are all really welcoming and we get regular photos and updates during the day, which is lovely. The meal plans are incredible and he seems to take part in a wide range of activities that he wouldn’t normally do at home – including petting the childcare centre tortoise! His speech is also really developing and we’ve noticed him coming home with lots of new words.
The location is exceptional, being close to the station. Would absolutely suggest it. Our son (21 months) started at Ambleside a couple of months ago, and he absolutely loves it.

February 3, 2025 at 1:07 amReturning to work and putting your kid into daycare is never easy but the team has made the process as smooth as possible! (With lots of added cuddles). She is building strong relationships with her key workers, helping us sense totally reassured she’s in great hands.
I’m pleased with the variety in her meals and all the new foods she’s trying and starting to recognise all the new skills and words she’s picking up along the way.
Would thoroughly suggest and can’t thank you ladies enough. My daughter (15 months) joined Little Learners just before Christmas, a week after opening.

February 22, 2025 at 6:02 pmThe team at both settings are absolutely exceptional and the transfer was such a smooth process.
It’s a testament to the team that my little one has settled in so well at Ambleside. She absolutely loves it there and has built such a great bond with the team, who are so attentive. They really go above and beyond and have been very proactive in trying different techniques to encourage our little fussy eater. Updates from the team is excellent and I adore getting updates on what my little one has been up to.
The childcare centre itself is spacious and secure, with a lovely little garden area. As parents we have absolutely no hesitation in leaving our kid here knowing how well cared for she is! Both my kids have attended Little Learners (St Nicholas) with my youngest moving over to the Ambleside setting in January 2023 to make the school run a little easier!

February 25, 2025 at 2:41 amThe childcare centre setting itself is incredible, there’s a lovely homely sense as soon as you’re greeted at the door. It’s spotless, bright and they have an incredible selection of food each day – which is needed when your baby is a foodie.
The team at the childcare centre are all incredible, they each ooze adore and passion for their jobs and it really shows. Although little one is in the baby room we are often greeted/updated by the other girls so I sense like we have really gotten to know the whole team and it feels like one big family. I sense so relaxed leaving her here as the updates/updates are exceptional and no matter how many times you call (which was a lot in the first few weeks!) it never feels like too much bother.
I could not ask for anything more from the childcare centre and the team and very highly suggest! My daughter (14 months) was one of the first babies at Little Learners Ambleside so it felt fitting that I leave their first review.

I’m very cheerful that the personnel is consistently keeping us up to date on what’s happening during the day with our daughter. I can see what she ate, and how long she slept. I really suggest this childcare centre to others. Very great childcare centre with great personnel.

April 12, 2025 at 1:16 amThe youngest has been at the Ambleside setting since December. The setting is fresh, bright and new – my son loves it there and has never cried at separation. The team have become like family members who have built bonds with my kids, two of which are now at school. I have consistently felt very comfortable with leaving my kids in their care. All three of my kids have been attending Little Learners Childcare centre & Preschool since aged 9 months.

April 27, 2025 at 7:06 pmBut he absolutely loves it now, he actually shuts the door on me when I drop him off a morning, which was quite upsetting at first but quite reassuring that he loves it and he can’t wait to get up the stairs. The team are all really on a level great vibe girls adore this childcare centre so much! My 17 month kid has been going since the childcare centre opened and at first he hadn’t spent any time away from me hardly so was very difficult.

I couldn’t be happier knowing that my son is in secure hands. I would suggest this place to everyone! The girls are so welcoming, attentive and take incredible care of my son.

May 21, 2025 at 5:58 amHowever, my experiences at Ambleside have been top class. The personnel are outstanding and never make me sense rushed if I want to enquire about anything. Best of all my daughter is cheerful being there and has developed and grown more confident with each and every day. Excellent job. It is never easy as a parent leaving your kid for the day at a childcare centre.
