Little Garden The Hackney Day Nursery & Pre-School (previously FountNursery)

We were initially concerned about putting our nine-month-old daughter into nursey and considered a nanny instead, but after a few weeks, we could not be happier. Our daughter absolutely loves it and we could not imagine a better setting for her development. The women who run the baby room are remarkable. They are so compassionate to all the kids and spend so much time thinking about activities to bring out the best in everyone. They are very assiduous in updating the parent app, both as regards each kid and also as regards what the group are doing each day, which is a remarkable way to sense like you’re aware of what is going on whilst you are at work. We could not be happier and would suggest this childcare centre unconditionally. We really can’t speak highly enough of both the childcare centre and the team.
The location is excellent – right next to London Fields and the nursey uses this to provide more space for the kids. Highly recommended! This is a fantastic nursey and we could not be happier.

I am however particularly pleased by the team of the baby room: the team take the time to warmly welcome my son and me in the morning and give me a brief at the end of each day. Despite having many other kids/parents, I never sense rushed and I am very pleased with that. They also update the parents through the app with a diary and detailed observations [on that note, I wished the new owners had listened to us and hadn’t changed the app, the previous one was way better for us, the parents/clients].

Also, my son joined at 5 months old, he was the smallest and barely able to seat, and I never imagined they would have him involved that much at that age, doing arts and other manual/sensory stuff. They are very creative and patient I guess. No wonder why he is so cheerful when arriving there, they care and it’s way more enjoyable than at home!

Overall, the people working there are excellent. I imagine that nurseries offer more or less similar services overall.

The team are so nice and my son loves the team. They are approachable and willing to update you when needed. My son is a very picky eater, they consistently accommodate and make sure his needs are met. All of them have played a huge part in my son’s development, and roll on 2023. My son started here in November and he loves it.

We are very cheerful with everything provided by the childcare centre: activities, quality of team, food, premises etc.. Most importantly, our son is very cheerful and he has made lots of very great friends who he recognises when we bump into them on weekends. He has also made tremendous development with various things such as speaking, expressing himself and also potty training. We would highly suggest this childcare centre. Our son has been going to this childcare centre for over a year now.

I also want to mention the childcare centre manager who is very flexible with bookings and goes the extra mile when they struggle with work deadlines. My granddaughter attends Little Garden, she loves her preschool educators.
She loves all the diverse books in the childcare centre, and The I am Me element in the curriculum helps build her self‑assurance.

My son has been in this childcare centre for a year now and he’s absolutely delighted to get there every morning, even on tough mornings, the welcoming team consistently manages to calm him down – that’s priceless.

The extra activities are her favourite, especially the Spanish lessons and the African drumming. The preschool team are all remarkable with the care provided and the food. She is a fussy eater; however, the chef ensures she makes something for her. My daughter has attended the childcare centre for nine months and loves it.

Our daughter loves the place so much, and can’t wait to get there each day. It feels like such a inviting, communal, secure space and really creative. Every day there is a different journey and activity. We are often invited to special events as parents- and the kids are so proud to invite us into their space. They eat together around a big table, and that is typical of the collegiate and loving community. All the kids know each other and look out for each other this is a reflection of the team and leadership. Our daughter is a compassionate, patient person and I know this is a testament to the team. We are absolutely thrilled with the Childcare centre.

He was there for almost a year and enjoyed all the variety of daily activities. As a parent, I appreciate all the hard work of the team and think they did a excellent job, especially on themes such as black history month. My son really enjoyed his time at Little Garden The Hackney Day Childcare centre.

The baby room team is incredible. He was the youngest when he started at 6-month old and they were very mindful of him and to try and keep to his schedules. He has never cried once at the time of drop off and you can tell he is genuinely cheerful to see his adult and baby friends again every single morning. The baby room team is very creative when it comes to activities, from painting and drawing to messy plays with water or cornflour!

Every day they explore with music, singing or dancing and have some time outside in their garden or in the London Fields park which is right next to the childcare centre (weather permitting). The team takes time every day to update parents of what has happened during the day, takes pictures and highlights significant discovering development milestones. All that hard work is very much appreciated and we highly suggest the baby room team! Our son has been in the baby room for 8 months now and he loves it!
