Little Bear's Nursery in East Village

The team are exceptionally loving and attentive and truly on their toes, ensuring the kids get the best care and discovering setting. I’ve had no complaints so far and am impressed by the way both the caretakers and the management keep us updated via the app around day-to-day activities and the highly articulate periodic observations recorded for each kid. Within a couple of months, I can see my little one forming bonds with her favourite members of the team and has also picked up excellent skills like self-feeding, greeting hellos and byes, and is trying to learn new words and actions. The outdoor playtime area is a big win too and the childcare centre is consistently looking for new and innovative discovering activities both indoors and outdoors. Highly suggest and highly cheerful with the childcare centre overall. Our little daughter started childcare centre when she was 13 months old and am beyond delighted to see how well she has settled in, thanks to the highly well-planned settling days.

We sent our daughter there four years ago, and were so cheerful, we now send our one year old son there. Our son enjoys his time there and has learned so much already, in such a short time. The team are welcoming, attentive, and attentive, and the setting is lovely, with excellent facilities and lots for the kids to do. The garden, in particular, is fantastic, with plenty of activities to delight in. The childcare centre is well organised, and highly well run, consistently with the kid and parents’ best interests in mind, and they have highly robust safety and covid protocols, which truly gives us peace of mind. Little Bear’s in East Village is a remarkable childcare centre!

I honestly could not have picked a better childcare centre. I have noticed that she has developed so much since attending the childcare centre and they consistently take such great care of her. They have plenty of space indoors and outdoors to develop and the team are so attentive. They do a range of activities such as playing with sand, paint, outdoors etc. But my daughter is consistently handed over cleaner than I would have imagined considering the activities they get up to. I adore all the updates throughout the day and consistently look forward to seeing the new photos they have taken of my daughter. The team at the childcare centre are incredible. I remember the first day I dropped her off I cried and she cried and then I left her there. But when she stopped crying the manager actually rang me to let me know, and it was so reassuring. And truly reinforced why I adore this childcare centre. Thank you so much for everything you guys do. My daughter adores you. My daughter attends this childcare centre and I cannot tell you how incredible it is.

He was on the young side when he started and the settling-in process felt age-appropriate and thorough. He enjoys his time there and has developed such a excellent relationship with his key person and the other team in the room. Highly pleased to watch as he continues to learn and grow with the Little Bears team. Our and our son’s journey at Little Bear’s has been excellent so far.

All the team are so welcoming and genuinely care about the kids – and they consistently give lots of updates about how the kids are getting on. We get lots of photographs on the app, and it’s so nice to see our daughter so cheerful. We adore Little Bear’s and would consistently suggest it to other parents! We are so cheerful with how well our daughter has settled at Little Bear’s – she has so much enjoyable there, and the team take such great care of her.

The app keeps us up to date during the day, including meals, sleep and moments, where we see what our kid has been up to. We have a “download” at every pick-up on the days activities and how our kid has been during the day.
The updates from the team is excellent, and we’re kept up to date with all the activities going on at the childcare centre. Had a excellent journey so far.

Honestly when I was looking for nurseries, I was expecting to compromise on at least 1-2 of these things, but I didn’t have to:

Primary requirements –
1. team ratio of 3:1 for the under 2 age group (I visited in person to check if this was actually true, since a lot of the other nurseries in the area only said it on their brochure, and the reality was different)
2. Team that care for the babies a bit more than average
3. Secure setting (no adult size furniture in the room that they can climb up on, baby proofed plug sockets etc)
4. Organised and responsive to emails (lots of nurseries I found took ages to respond)

Plus they even matched my secondary requirements of having kids from diverse races and cultures, accommodating vegan options for my baby and also providing a great mix of activities (music, art, sports etc).

I adore this childcare centre and so does my baby. I’m so, so cheerful with Little Bear’s Childcare centre in East Village, they checked off all my requirements when I was childcare centre hunting last year.

I was nervous about how she would get on as she was a lockdown baby and had had highly few interactions outside the immediate family, but the team and our daughter’s key worker especially, were truly supportive and she ended up settling brilliantly. Our daughter loves going to childcare centre at Little Bears, just as her big sister did before her. The team are compassionate and attentive which gives me excellent peace of mind. I would highly suggest the childcare centre. Thank you, Manager, and your team! We’re truly cheerful with the care that our daughter receives at Little Bears.

So many enjoyable activities such as painting, sticking, glueing, dancing, singing, and let’s not forget the terrific garden where they adore to playtime in the sandpit. Both kids are truly enjoying their daily life at Little Bear’s.

He’s learned his alphabet and all childcare centre rhymes in a short space of time. He truly enjoys football practice My son has come a long way with his speech and social skills since joining the childcare centre.
