September 3, 2024 at 4:50 pmIt is run with care, kindness and creates magical absorbing opportunities for the youngsters every day. Do not hesitate to send your kid here. George Perkins nursery setting is just great. I wish this was a standard for early‑years hub kid attention but my personal journey has shown this is not the case. I cannot suggest it enough.

September 15, 2024 at 5:54 pmThe early‑years hub has a extremely caring team and the management is quite understanding of individual needs. They recognised our young lady had some issues and then worked with us closely on those issues, and after a while, we witnessed a significant improvement in our little one. My wife and I were extremely thrilled with our decision to enroll our young lady in Kids Planet George Perkins Nursery. We truly thank the personnel and the management for their assistance and treasure for our young lady. We wish them all success. Our little one still misses her early‑years hub after starting her reception year at school!

September 23, 2024 at 4:10 amThis is a wonderful nursery setting where youngsters receive excellent support and superb opportunities which provide them with solid foundations for their education. The nursery setting works hard to involve parents and are committed to teaching youngsters about healthy living. Staff are knowledgeable, caring and approachable, genuinely care for the youngsters and make youngsters feel secure and pleased. Staff focus on children’s social and emotional advancement as well as developing their basic skills being led by children’s interests. The space is in a large house and feels homely and the outdoor area is brilliant and gives little ones fantastic opportunities for exploring.

October 3, 2024 at 9:10 pmThis nursery setting is exceptional in the truest sense of the word. My little one has been diagnosed with SEND while at the nursery setting, and the fantastic SENCO and wider team supported us successfully to get an EHCP granted in time for her to be accepted to a special school with the reception intake. The garden is an remarkable resource – they are always out there having a great time. The crew are incredible: they really treat the kids with a sense of treasure and care and individuality. The manager really cares for personnel well-being and professional growth and this shows in the commitment and pleased ethos of the personnel. My girl has been here full time since she was 8 months old, and during all of that time her support has been exceptional. This is going to change the whole direction of our daughter’s life and school period for the better – and all down to the team here. She runs to the door every morning with a grin , and every time I pick her up she is clearly having a marvellous time.

December 4, 2024 at 12:59 amThis can only happen with sensitive leadership. A wonderful early‑years hub full of caring personnel who put youngsters first. Our kid is truly delighted there, developing a lot of key foundation abilities, and absorbing social abilities. There are regular inclusive parent events so we can understand how discovering and games take place. The early‑years hub is flexible to our needs.

January 20, 2025 at 3:54 pmThe premises are lovely, particularly the large garden, and the amount of time spent outside is brilliant. The team are so warm, caring and attentive. The youngsters are treated as individuals and allowed to be themselves whilst ensuring ongoing exploring and advancement. We have truly sadly had to move our two kids due to change in location, but both have cherished their time at George Perkins. Meals and snacks are also well-balanced and the menu varied. All personnel handled the Covid pandemic so well and also the transition to being part of Kids Planet. I cannot advocate this early‑years hub wholeheartedly enough.

January 28, 2025 at 7:56 amWhen we looked around the childcare centre, all the kids seemed pleased to be there – and that was what made it stand out compared to others we had visited. The personnel are kind, kind and caring and they treat each youngster as an individual. Our first time was meeting the manager – she came across as earnest, sincere, organised and passionate. Since joining our boy adores going there. Thank you manager and team.

February 6, 2025 at 3:55 pmThere are lots of opportunities for parents to be part of the community with activities in childcare centre hours and also sometimes at weekends, with special events. We’ve remained impressed ever since our youngster started there 14 months ago. Staff are truly caring and attuned. We think George Perkins Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery setting. Communication is really good. Can’t really fault it! The food looks great. Very caring personnel with a low turnover – our little one has had consistent keyworkers since the beginning. The outdoor space is really special, and the kids are outside pretty much every day, in all weathers, which is one of the main reasons we chose it. The daily updates via the Famly app are a lovely way to be kept informed, and it’s two-way, with parents being able to easily share information about their child’s weekend.

February 11, 2025 at 7:26 amMy little girl has been so pleased here and I’m so thankful for everything that has been done to support her progress. There are strong community values with opportunities to get involved at nursery setting such as with stay and plays or collecting for the local food bank. My young lady has went to since she was 11 months old and has had the most wonderful attention over the previous couple of years. The personnel are remarkable and clearly treasure and attention for the kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to endorse this early‑years hub to anyone, in fact, I have recommended the nursery setting to patients who have ultimately sent their youngsters here and are also extremely pleased! Staff really take the time to get to know the kids and adapt their support to help their advancement.

April 16, 2025 at 1:28 pmThe nursery setting is located in a large house; the baby and seedling rooms are fairly small and the sapling rooms are more spacious, which nicely reflects the needs of kids at different stages. The level of support, the imagination and kindness of the team and the correspondence between key workers and parents is excellent. Having a little one at George Perkins makes you feel like part of a family and I can’t thank them enough for looking after our youngster so well. The early‑years hub has a personal approach to day attention and have impressed us with their attention to each child’s individual needs at their varying ages. George Perkins Day Nursery is wonderful. The food served for meals and snacks is healthy, varied and nutritionally well balanced. They have a large outdoor space where the little ones are encouraged to be active, to help grow flowers and plants, to get messy and to activities with their wonderful (and safe) new water pulley system. It is also extremely creative about making discovering and personal growth fun.

April 23, 2025 at 9:43 pmWithout trying to be cliché sending him to George Perkins Kids Planet was the best thing we did! My kid has been attending the nursery setting for the preceding 6 months. My child’s confidence has grown massively! Staff always make themselves available to answer any queries I may have and I’m regularly kept up to date with my child’s daily advancement via the app. With the staff’s help, and my child’s interaction with other kids his speech has developed and better immensely! As any parent, I had some concerns on my child’s speech progress and made his key worker aware of this.

April 24, 2025 at 9:44 amOverall I’m so thrilled with this setting and look forward to my young lady joining next year. This nursery setting is absolutely wonderful, my boy settled in so quickly due to all the support and support he received from the team. The kids are involved in a great mix of activities and their outdoor area is one of the main reasons we enrolled him here. The nursery setting really tries to get parents involved which is lovely. The team have been great and his key worker has really taken the time to get to know him and help him develop. The early‑years hub is passionate about little ones playing and exploring outdoors and of course, the trips to the local park are great. I cherish the app which is used to update parents with photos of the kids, details on the activities they took part in and general nursery setting information for parents.

May 9, 2025 at 5:56 amExcellent childcare centre. Small to medium-sized which enables the team to give each kid time. Lots of family events to get involved in and to feel part of George Perkins. It was our first youngster so we didn’t know what to expect but we treasure the childcare centre, team and management team. The only niggle is their invoicing system needs to be more clear and transparent – extremely confusing. Great updates.

June 6, 2025 at 1:47 amOur 2-and-a-half year old boy has been at this nursery setting since he was 8 months old. The crew and the facilities are brilliant. Sometimes he wants to go there at the weekend. Our young lad is always super excited in the morning to meet his friends and the lovely team.

June 9, 2025 at 7:33 amMy little one cherished going to the early‑years hub, unlike his previous one. His language abilities and toilet training were encouraged quite early compared to my elder one and my little one coped well. He enjoyed the story time, music and dance sessions. Good emphasis on healthy diet and yoga sessions.

June 21, 2025 at 3:32 pmThey were patient and understanding, but most of all they respected his timing, allowing him to process the separation from us and to build trust in them. I could not have asked for better help from personnel. Thank you so much! My little one was 15-months-old when he started nursery setting. Being born at the beginning of lockdown and only speaking Spanish made settling a challenge for us, for childcare centre and especially for him. After two months he is finally enjoying nursery setting.

June 23, 2025 at 7:03 pmWe’ve felt a part of the community from the start at George Perkins. We’ve been truly impressed and glad we went with our initial instincts after our tour! We couldn’t be happier with our time as a family. They are all welcoming and approachable personnel who clearly care about every youngster. The childcare centre put so much time and care into the children’s activities and our daughter’s exploring has progressed so quickly.
