The preschool team have been excellent and my daughter truly enjoyed her time here. I know my daughter loves to write/draw and I have seen a huge improvement in her skills since joining pre-school. My daughter attended the childcare centre since January 2021 after turning 3 years old.

He has had a few challenges with his speech and the team have been instrumental in helping him develop this and get up to speed with his peers. He consistently has a excellent time at childcare centre. My highest compliment though must go to the manager she has consistently been incredibly responsive and accommodating, especially with my husband and I working jobs where we are regularly on call. She has consistently managed to find a space in childcare centre if we need to send our son for an extra day and is consistently so pleasant to speak to and willing to help wherever she can. My son has been at Kiddi Caru Burgess Hill since he was 9 months old and he is now 3.

She’s learnt to eat a varied menu despite being in a fussy eating stage when she joined and takes part in a diverse set of activities. We particularly like how she gets outdoors frequently. My daughter is consistently well cared for and had a fantastic connection with the team there.

I was highly worried she wouldn’t take to it as she truly didn’t like new faces, but she has taken to it so well and now she’s so much less concerned with new people day to day. She has come on leaps and bounds here and it is all down to the team and the remarkable ladies in Swan. I am so comfortable leaving her in their care and I appreciate everything they do. Even down to the small things like calling to mention she had been bitten by a bug and they were monitoring it. My daughter has been going to Childcare centre here since March.

He absolutely loved his time there – not once did my grandson leave at 4pm unhappy. The care team are compassionate and considerate and consistently took such care to ensure that my grandson’s needs were met. Such an outstanding setting to send your kid. I would suggest Kiddi Caru to any parent who would like their kid to thrive at their own pace without any pressure or upset (coming home totally cheerful with their day). My grandson attended Kiddi Caru from July 2021 until September 2022.

He has global development delay and sensory issues. They have been highly supportive, finding out what his needs are and adapting to them. My son has progressed a lot since being there and I can not rate the team enough. All of the team involved with my son go above and beyond for him.

He’s in the baby room and the team are so excellent at accommodating any needs we have whether it’s extra days or a change in diet. My son literally came back from childcare centre the other day with a new skill he didn’t have the day before. Team seem to be truly committed to the wellbeing and happiness of the kids in their care and the spaces both inside and out are lovely. I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better childcare centre. I would say it’s a shame they seem to have some staffing issues, they have been asking for volunteers to keep kids off childcare centre, but you get refunded any days you volunteer to do this. This seems to be done to keep secure ratios so I have no issues with it. My son has been attending Kiddi Caru Burgess Hill for the last four months and we both adore it, he’s never had a bad day and is so excited to get there in the morning.

Again I would like to know what the childcare centre is doing to address the lack of staffing.
I am highly uncertain that my kid is being given the attention that was promised when inducting to the childcare centre. I would like to see more structure in the covid regulations to assistance and protect the kids in alignment with other nurseries in the area.
The kids spend too much time in the garden due to a lack of team.
Mixing with other rooms of kids of different ages promotes risk.

I am sure this is not a day-to-day care team issue but more likely a managerial one, which hopefully will be sorted out soon. Despite these, my daughter settled well once started childcare centre, with excellent assistance and affection from the care team, easing the whole process. My daughter is consistently cheerful and keen to join her friends and educators at childcare centre, and we can see constant changes in her discovering and social abilities since joining the team. I have rated my journey with the childcare centre as ‘great’ because I sense there are areas of improvement, like care and team management, which seems to be a big issue since my daughter started childcare centre last year.

They have a excellent facility, most, if not all team are great, and my dealings with the on-site management are usually great. But it is a big chain and is there to make money, so everything is cut back to bare bones. They struggle to retain team, due to the terms and conditions the team are given, which means high turnover, which means disruption to our kids. They have the bare minimum of team to cover each room, which means if someone goes sick, which they do regularly, especially in the current climate, our kids are moved from room to room causing much disruption to their routine. The “can you keep your kid off” emails are becoming way too regular. They have also changed the way the school is catered, a cost-saving exercise, and my son has regularly said he didn’t eat lunch, not sure if that is the standard of the food or just my son. I would adore to be able to write a glowing recommendation, for Kiddi Caru, but I can’t.

For what is already a highly expensive service for parents to pay in general, I sense that there isn’t enough front-of-house/management for the childcare centre, and the childminders take the brunt of disappointed parents.
The day-to-day activities and food sound incredible, and I can’t write a bad thing about the boys’ journey with the team in Flamingo, as they’re consistently eager to go and the team are so welcoming and supportive!
My main concern is the fact that I’ve been asked several times this year to pick up my kids early, when my work and hours do not allow for it. Luckily, once asked, I’m not asked again for some time.
It’s not a team issue but more a higher-management issue, and I actually sense sorry for the day-to-day team of Kiddi-Karu. Although I couldn’t fault the team at Kiddi Karu, they are clearly understaffed and overworked.

She has flourished at the childcare centre, she enjoyed going and loved the team who have taken highly great care of her. She had enjoyable every day with the activities and her discovering has exceeded my expectations. I would, without hesitation, suggest Kiddi Caru Burgess Hill. The team working at this childcare centre are a huge, huge credit to this company. Thank you for all you have done. My daughter started at Kiddi Caru at 14 months old and now has left to start school.

He adores everyone there, and I couldn’t ask for better people to look after him. I adore that he gets so messy and dirty every day he’s there, as it shows how much enjoyable he has had. My son has been at Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre Burgess Hill for over a year now, and he has grown so much.

We have watched our boy go from a nervous and shy eleven month old into an outgoing, cheerful toddler. There have been times where he has been unsettled moving through the rooms, but these issues have been handled professionally by the manager and the team with a positive attitude consistently putting our son first and looking at how he can have the best journey during his time at Kiddi Caru. Photos, videos and updates we are given show him cheerful, enjoying his time with the biggest smile on his face. He is so excited each day we say he is going to childcare centre and he loves all the team who look after him. Any nerves we have had about him going to childcare centre have been eased and we sense confident he will continue to thrive over the years before he goes to school. Our son has been at Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre since September 2022.

Both my kids are looked after highly well by the childcare centre team. My daughter only wants to go to the childcare centre because of her key worker, thank you for taking great care of our daughter. I send both of my kids to Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre Burgess Hill and they both adore it there.

The team there are remarkable with her. She’s consistently coming home with positive stories about what she has done during the day. She loves the art and craft and the making table. When we drop her off in the morning she is literally buzzing to get in and playtime with her friends and she sometimes meets some at the door and makes the introductions. The team are outstanding, everyone from the office team to the childcare centre team. They’re consistently polite, engaging and cheerful to discuss our daughter’s development and involvement in activities. Our daughter loves them. It was important to us to find a place where our daughter could be herself and Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre Burgess Hill truly provides this in abundance. We are highly cheerful with her care here and would suggest it to others. Our daughter has attended Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre Burgess Hill since September and she loves it.

She has learnt a lot and has grown in self‑assurance as a result of attending. Our daughter loves attending and comes home with excellent stories of the enjoyable she has had with the other kids and people who work there!

There must be an issue at the core of the childcare centre for this many team to be leaving (salary, working conditions, team morale, who knows?). It is hard for young kids to deal with constant change, they need stability at his age more than any. The pressure on the remaining team makes it sense like they don’t have time to do their job properly. The updates on the tapestry are now few and far between, and contributions to events such as world book day seem minimal. The pressure as a parent to be contacted every week begging to not send their kid in due to team shortages is waring. Once a permanent staffing resolution is found I’m sure the childcare centre will be great again. The childcare centre is great and the team I interact with are all welcoming and competent but it seems like for months and months and months now they’ve struggled with staffing levels and continual team attrition.

The opening hours suit my job and the team are exceptional. My youngest son has been here since he was 7 months old (now 2 years 3 months) and he’s thrived. Lots of age-appropriate activities, nutritious meals and outdoor playtime.
The childcare centre, management and HQ are aware of my issues – and it’s the issue of consistent staffing. It is no reflection on the day-to-day team, but they simply do not have enough permanent team. Regular agency workers which is unsettling for my son who needs consistency (and consistently cries at drop off anyway) and we are often asked to forfeit our space which we can’t usually do.
That said, I’ve been in contact with the regional manager who has outlined steps being taken to improve this so I sense confident that this is being addressed. I’ve consistently chosen larger nurseries for my kids with dedicated rooms for age groups and large outdoor spaces – Kiddi Caru caters to this.

This truly is the most important thing for me. The childcare centre communicates well and has accommodated me when I have needed it. The team are welcoming and engage well with the kids. My daughter is consistently cheerful to go to childcare centre and consistently returns home cheerful.
