May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son attends pre school at Coronation Road and absolutely loves it, he looks forward to his preschool days. The staff are very warm and welcoming and always answer the door happy and to see the children. We receive updates through the day of what our son has had to eat along with any observations made, his development and the activities he has been doing. We love the option on the app to add our own content to share any developments and wow moments we have had at home. My son has only ever spoken highly of all the carers and his friends at Coronation Road. He is very happy there. We can’t thank the manager and all the team enough for all the wonderful care and love they have given him. We are going to be very sad to leave when we move up to school.

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son started at Mama Bears Coronation Road in May 21, and being a lockdown baby, he was not used to other people or places. He had multiple taster sessions as he struggled to adjust, as did I. The staff were so kind and patient, even coming to check on me once when I cried dropping him off. The manager came to the car park to put my mind at ease and reassure me. My son now loves Mama Bears, and he seems to have a new favourite person! Pictures and videos are posted daily, which is amazing; it’s clear he’s having a great time. I’m so pleased to have found Coronation Road Mama Bears; it truly is a warm, friendly and fun place for him to make friends and socialise!

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amMy wife and I have entrusted Mama Bear’s, Coronation Road with caring for both of our children, our eldest is now in school and our youngest is now in pre-school. Both of our children quickly built special relationships with the staff at Mama Bear’s and they both have their respective favourites. The team are genuinely caring and it gives us a fantastic sense of well-being, knowing that our kiddies are in such a great place and having a wonderful time with their friends. The staff are excellent, they give us lots of feedback at the end of the day and the online parent platform allows us to see photos of their day to day activities. Events such as Easter/Mother’s Day/Christmas are always special at Mama Bear’s and the kids work hard to produce cards or artwork to mark the day, and gives the children a sense of pride as they gift it to parents at home time. Having been with Mama Bear’s for almost 5 years, we would strongly recommend them!

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amThe nursery staff here have cared for my child since before she was 1 year old and is now gone 3 and attending their preschool. Their care throughout her time here has been above and beyond my expectations of a nursery, and even through the pandemic their standards did not drop, they have supported us through many developmental milestones and I will be forever grateful to the love and care they have given to my child.

May 28, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been attending this nursery 3 days a week since February this year and has settled in really well.
The staff are really caring and considerate and my daughter has become very fond of everyone that looks after her.
The online app is updated every day, quite frequently with photos and videos so it’s lovely to see so easily what she’s been up to and what she’s been eating through the day (lots of healthy options).
Activities are varied through the week and there seems to be plenty of outdoor play which is important to us. We can see the progress in our daughter’s development over the last few months in many different areas.
The management of the place is brilliant, very professional and any queries I’ve had have been addressed quickly.
The parking is fairly limited which means drop off and pick up can be quite busy but all the parents are really mindful of this and it’s never been an issue for us.

June 2, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending this nursery for over two years. He absolutely loves it, and the staff are really caring and great with him. We get regular updates through the app and it’s always good to see what he been eating/doing. I’d recommend this nursery to local friends.

January 13, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been at Mama Bear’s now for over a year. She really enjoys it, she’s made great friends and her development has come along so much!
The staff are lovely, they are always welcoming and approachable. Any issues/concerns I may have are always dealt with quickly and professionally. (Not that I ever have any!)
So glad we found this place! I’d recommend it to friends!

July 6, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending this nursery for 2 years now and he has come on so much since he has been here he is such an outgoing child from being at nursery and learning new skills. Always had good bonds with all staff, they are all so caring and understanding of my son. My daughter now attends the nursery, they have made her come out in herself she was born just before lockdown so hasn’t really had much communication with other people and didn’t like to be left without me she has come so far and now really loves to go to nursery she always wants to go to nursery and learn new things and make new friends Mama Bear’s Day Nursery have really helped her to do this. All the staff are very easy to talk to about any worries I have (not had any regarding the setting) they are always welcoming. Always keep me updated through the day on the app and if they have any worries or concerns they phone me straight away. My son will be very sad to be leaving the nursery in September to go to primary school.

August 9, 2022 at 12:00 amBoth of my children attend Mama Bear’s Day Nursery (Coronation Road-Downend), and they are both extremely happy there.
The setting is very inviting, and the staff are all friendly, caring and supportive to both the children and families.
My eldest has additional learning needs, and this has been dealt with care and compassion from all staff and, in particular, his key worker, who he loves.
I would recommend this setting to anyone.

August 10, 2022 at 12:00 amWe have been very happy with the level of care and attention provided to our daughter since her start at nursery back in 2020. It was a challenging start for her but they have always been very supportive and taken the time to speak with me on the phone after drop-off and provide feedback and reassurance where necessary. I sometimes felt a bit guilty for calling as no doubt they were busy, but time was always given to me whenever needed.
She has an excellent Keyworker, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better and I always know she’s in good hands with her. She is an absolute credit to the nursery and will no doubt have an excellent career there.

August 10, 2022 at 12:00 amWe as a family have trusted Mama Bear’s, Coronation Road based on the staff’s professionalism and caring attitude towards our 2 years old son. Our son has especially bonded with a few staff members but all staff members are very diligent and to be trusted with their abilities. The on-ground well-being of son is a clear priority of the nursery staff and they offer a range of playing tools and nurture our son to be socially developed to be friends with other kids.
We have already spread the word out, about their care, services, and exceptional communication mechanism, and we will continue to do so.
I believe it is our son’s first formal institute where he is continuing to develop the skills he will bank on in future to become a better human.
5-star for a few staff members.

My Daughter has attended this nursery since she was 8 months old and will be leaving next month.
She has always enjoyed going to Mama Bears, loves the staff and feels safe and nurtured.
The food they provide is varied and healthy.
Staff are understanding, caring and provide any support I have asked for.
We will miss Mama Bears nursery but want to thank them for looking after my Daughter so well!

Without the girls in this nursery we would have really struggled to get the help my son desperately needed, for that I can’t thank these girls enough! You truly are a wonderful bunch and we will miss you all so much!

March 12, 2023 at 12:00 amI have had such a positive experience with this nursery. It has a warm, supportive and family feel to the environment and the care the staff offer. The communication is highly positive, they regularly update me on what my son is doing and eating, and how much. They show genuine care for my sons development and have been supportive with advice to support what we can be doing at home. They have also been doing 1:1 sessions to support his speech development which I really appreciate. The activities I see them do are lovely and creative. I’m so happy with this nursery.

They’ve been really patient with her (she found it a little overwhelming to begin with) and I think that’s really helped her to feel comfortable. I know she’s well looked after and happy when she’s there and that’s all you can ask for! X

March 13, 2023 at 12:00 amWe are so happy with Mama Bear’s, Coronation Road. Our son started in October and the team were so amazing with helping him get settled now he is really coming into his own and has such a lovely time when there.
The communication from the staff throughout the day is amazing, the app is so useful and the variation of meals he eats there is great.
Leaving your child for a full day with people you don’t know was super daunting for me but now I know he’s having a great time with lovely people and being well looked after.

March 13, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has such a lovely time at Mama Bear’s Day nursery! She joined when she was ten months old and they have a separate baby room as well as a room with cots. Plenty of toys and learning activities to help her explore and develop. The best part of the nursery is also the outside play area which is also suitable for early walkers like mine. The staff are very friendly and caring.

March 23, 2023 at 12:00 amThe staff are lovely, friendly and very welcoming. My son is happily settled and content which you could not ask for more from a nursery.
Both of my sons have and do attend Mama Bear’s Day Nursery (Coronation Road-Downend) it is absolutely brilliant I could not recommend it enough. My son who no longer attends the nursery started at 11 months old until he left to go to school he came on leaps and bounds, the nursery would take any concern seriously and deal with any problems correctly and professionally.
The only issue I have is they are having staffing issues at the moment but I do believe they are trying to sort this issue soon as possible.
