We have been using Kenwood Day Nursery for 7 years and found the care and staff absolutely brilliant. It really is a second family to our little ones. Thank you for being brilliant guys, we really appreciate it.

Our youngest son is here and our eldest left in the summer to start school. Kenwood is such a lovely nursery, very small and personal. The staff are very nurturing and happy and know our children well! Both our boys enjoy (ed) coming here. The settling in process is good, taking each day at a time to suit the needs of the child. Communications are great through the use of daily sheets for the younger ones, and of course, face to face contact each day. The nursery provides lots of fun and engaging activities for the children which help development and promote independence. We are looking forward to the Christmas party coming up. Kenwood provides a great start to education.

My little one loves Kenwood. She started going when she was 1 and settled in really well. The nursery takes less kids than a lot of the other nurseries nearby which is a really good thing for us. Everyone knows her and she reacts really well to all the staff. They do lots of activities for the kids and keep us up to date with what they’re doing with daily forms and photos.

Our two daughters both attended Kenwood, and they were very happy there. They both transitioned easily to school, and are both doing well. Kenwood was an excellent experience for them (and us), the owner and her team are fantastic. It was like dropping the girls at family, not a business.

Our daughter spent 3 years here very happily. She was very shy but the friendly ‘ home from home’ environment allowed her to settle in quickly. The staff were caring and professional and I never had any worries about leaving her there. Would highly recommend.

A home away from home. We chose the nursery as it had a small friendly environment. My daughter was 7months when she first started and has thrived since attending.

My two daughters attended Kenwood Day Nursery from just 1 until nearly 4 when they went to a school. They have fond memories and formed strong bonds with the staff and still talk about them. The girls were well cared for, had fun and had lots of outside play which was my main concern but now having two in the school system Kenwood also sets the children up well for school. My daughters are doing extremely well in attention, learning, imagination, numeracy and reading and writing. Also, I found toilet training quite stress free but again this was largely due to the nursery staff! It’s a small nursery so has a nice ‘homely’ feel. There is minimal staff turnover (odd changes mostly for maternity covers). Also, the staff arrange a special leavers day out for children which was probably the girls first independent adventure and they both sleep with their leavers photo with their nursery friends by their bed!

Both my children have attended this nursery and I could not be happier with the care they have received. The staff are wonderful and come up with lots of fun things for the children to do. Both my children regularly had seconds if not thirds of the meals provided, which I think says a lot about the food provided and how content they are when at the nursery. It is a smaller nursery which was important to me as I wanted somewhere that felt home from home.

Kenwood is a fantastic nursery. The staff are so warm and caring. It’s small enough that all the staff know your child well, not just their keyworker. My son was very happy during his time there. He was not a great sleeper and they got him napping in no time. They also do a great range of activities, with lots of messy/wet play. The outside space is a really good all-weather area which means they really do go outside every day. I would happily recommend it to anyone.

I have used Kenwood Day Nursery first for my daughter 8 years ago and then 5 years later with my 2nd daughter. It was so lovely to see some of the same staff there on the return there for the 2nd time as I was familiar with the staff and this made me feel very comfortable with the settling in stage. As this is a small nursery all the staff know all the children in each group and form close bonds and it is almost like a little family. There are daily updates given at the end of the day letting parents know what food they have eaten, nap times, nappy changes, which is really useful. We are kept up to date with a private Facebook group, showing pictures of what they have got up to, which really makes me happy to see. My children both settled into Kenwood brilliantly, have thrived and enjoyed their time there. I would have no hesitation recommending Kenwood to anyone interested in the nursery.

Fantastic staff, lovely small nursery so little ones feel like it’s a home from home experience. Both of my boys have loved it here. They’ve got brilliant facilities and put an amazing amount of effort into offering a wide variety of activities and experiences for your little ones. All with a focus on the early year’s development in preparation for school, but with an emphasis on play.
    Highly recommend this nursery!

Both of my children attended Kenwood Road Nursery until we moved out of the area.

My oldest started nursery when he was around 19 months old and as he had been at home with me, I was looking for a small nursery with a homely feel and that is exactly what Kenwood was able to offer. We saw a big change in him after a month being in nursery. Confidence and language development soared as you could tell he was happy in his new environment.

The older and younger children socialise together at various points in the day and I think this helped prepare my son for being around his new sister when she arrived. The nursery was fabulous at getting him ready for being an older sibling and dealing with that change.

The staff at Kenwood are fantastic at what they do and if I had any questions relating to my children they would be only too happy to help. I felt like parents and the staff work together as a team to care for the children.

It is a lovely, friendly, family feel nursery. My son attended when he was little, and my daughter is there now. The owner still plays an active role in the nursery and is often there, the manager is extremely efficient and really knows her stuff when it comes to child development. In fact all the staff there are lovely and seem to have been there a long time – one member of staff, in particular, seems to have a real bond with my daughter and still pops in to see her now she’s in the ‘big room’. It’s such a small nursery so you feel like they really know your child, and have a genuine affection for them. My son still loves going in and saying hello when we pick up his sister. The food is home cooked and nutritious and my kids loved/love it. They also do nice things like hatch out eggs (ducklings this year), caterpillars, frogs etc and go on trips to the local park. I feel really lucky that both my kids have had a chance to go there.

Kenwood is a great little nursery, both my kids have gone here, one is currently still there. When I drop my little boy off I feel like I’m leaving him with a family member, the girls are so attentive to him, the food is all home cooked and the place is immaculate. Any feedback I leave with them they follow through with, both my kids have thrived here. It’s a well-kept secret (nursery) within Chorlton/Stretford and we were very lucky enough to find them. Make sure you sign up early as spaces are limited. But rest assured if you get in, your kids will be looked after above and beyond your expectations.

My child attended Kenwood 4 days a week for 4 years and I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough.
It’s small and family-run so you get an intimate feel because of this – with only about 30 children there. There are dedicated baby, toddler and preschool rooms, which are really well equipped. You get updates on your child’s progress via an online app, so you can see pictures of activities they do in the day, which I loved.
The staff are amazing, really well trained and qualified and my child adored her key workers and they adored her. There’s a really low staff turn over – only a couple moved during our time with Kenwood, so you know them and they all know your child.
The outdoor space is smaller than other larger nurseries, but it’s more than enough for the small number of children at Kenwood.
The home-cooked food and snacks are nutritious and varied every day, which is great.
Overall our experience of Kenwood was extremely positive and my child loved going there.

Our daughter went to Kenwood from a year old and absolutely loved it. The staff are kind and friendly and the nursery feels like a home which is a lovely nurturing environment.
She enjoyed the lunches which were always varied and exciting, she made some great little friends there who have all developed into confident little kids.
Highly recommend Kenwood to anyone thinking of sending their little ones there.

Our little boy had a fantastic experience at Kenwood. We can’t thank the manager, staff member and all the amazing team members there enough for being so warm, welcoming, caring and friendly – both to our toddler and us as anxious parents! He looked forward to going in there every day and we had peace of mind leaving him, knowing he’d be so well looked after. The atmosphere was one of fun and laughter and there was always great communication about what he’d got up to and how he was progressing. Thank you so much.

Our son has attended Kenwood Day Nursery for the last 2 years or so and we couldn’t be more happy. We had the choice of several nurseries in the area and as it was our first child, it was quite a daunting experience viewing and then selecting the right one. We had no previous experience on which to base our decision nor any friends who could make personal recommendations. However, we haven’t once doubted our decision. Our son has been so happy there – hardly a glance over his shoulder when we drop him off in the mornings! We’re in the process of moving to a different part of the country and one of the hardest parts of the whole move is knowing he won’t be going to Kenwood any more.
Thanks to the whole team for such wonderful care and support.

I can’t recommend Kenwood Day Nursery highly enough. Both of my sons went there over the last 5 years. It’s a small nursery so all the staff and children know each other and build lovely relationships. The children, despite being split into their age ranges, also know each other. They have recently undertaken a cellar conversion to almost double the space in the nursery and have created a lovely new activity room. They also spend as much time as possible outside in the garden and take the children out on walks to nearby Longford Park or further afield when they can which both my boys found really exciting. The staff are so caring and dedicated – we can’t thank them enough for looking after our boys over the last 5 years
