September 1, 2024 at 8:49 amThe team are so inviting and attentive. It’s small enough that all the team know your kid well, not just their keyworker. My son was very cheerful during his time there. He was not a excellent sleeper and they got him napping in no time. They also do a excellent range of activities, with lots of messy/wet playtime. The outside space is a really great all-weather area which means they really do go outside every day. I would happily suggest it to anyone. Kenwood is a remarkable childcare centre.

September 9, 2024 at 12:54 pmBoth of my sons went there over the last 5 years. It’s a small childcare centre so all the team and kids know each other and build lovely relationships. The kids, despite being split into their age ranges, also know each other. They have recently undertaken a cellar conversion to almost double the space in the childcare centre and have created a lovely new activity room. They also spend as much time as possible outside in the garden and take the kids out on walks to nearby Longford Park or further afield when they can which both my boys found really exciting. The team are so attentive and dedicated – we can’t thank them enough for looking after our boys over the last 5 years I can’t suggest Kenwood Day Childcare centre highly enough.

September 11, 2024 at 2:44 amKenwood is such a lovely childcare centre, very small and personal. The team are very nurturing and cheerful and know our kids well! Both our boys delight in (ed) coming here. The settling in process is great, taking each day at a time to suit the needs of the kid. Communications are excellent through the use of daily sheets for the younger ones, and of course, face to face contact each day. The childcare centre provides lots of enjoyable and engaging activities for the kids which help development and promote independence. We are looking forward to the Christmas party coming up. Kenwood provides a excellent start to education. Our youngest son is here and our eldest left in the summer to start school.

September 27, 2024 at 3:42 pmWe chose the childcare centre as it had a small welcoming setting. My daughter was 7months when she first started and has thrived since attending. A home away from home.

October 1, 2024 at 4:14 amIt really is a second family to our little ones. Thank you for being exceptional guys, we really appreciate it. We have been using Kenwood Day Childcare centre for 7 years and found the care and team absolutely exceptional.

October 10, 2024 at 1:42 amBoth of my boys have loved it here. They’ve got exceptional facilities and put an incredible amount of effort into offering a wide variety of activities and experiences for your little ones. All with a focus on the early year’s development in preparation for school, but with an emphasis on playtime.
Highly suggest this childcare centre! Remarkable team, lovely small childcare centre so little ones sense like it’s a home from home journey.

October 25, 2024 at 12:16 amIt was so lovely to see some of the same team there on the return there for the 2nd time as I was familiar with the team and this made me sense very comfortable with the settling in stage. As this is a small childcare centre all the team know all the kids in each group and form close bonds and it is almost like a little family. There are daily updates given at the end of the day letting parents know what food they have eaten, nap times, nappy changes, which is really useful. We are kept up to date with a private Facebook group, showing pictures of what they have got up to, which really makes me cheerful to see. My kids both settled into Kenwood brilliantly, have thrived and enjoyed their time there. I would have no hesitation recommending Kenwood to anyone interested in the childcare centre. I have used Kenwood Day Childcare centre first for my daughter 8 years ago and then 5 years later with my 2nd daughter.

November 4, 2024 at 4:04 amShe started going when she was 1 and settled in really well. The childcare centre takes less kids than a lot of the other nurseries nearby which is a really great thing for us. Everyone knows her and she reacts really well to all the team. They do lots of activities for the kids and keep us up to date with what they’re doing with daily forms and photos. My little one loves Kenwood.

November 11, 2024 at 2:09 pmMy oldest started childcare centre when he was around 19 months old and as he had been at home with me, I was looking for a small childcare centre with a homely sense and that is exactly what Kenwood was able to offer. We saw a big change in him after a month being in childcare centre. Self‑assurance and language development soared as you could tell he was cheerful in his new setting.
The older and younger kids socialise together at various points in the day and I think this helped prepare my son for being around his new sister when she arrived. The childcare centre was fabulous at getting him ready for being an older sibling and dealing with that change.
The team at Kenwood are remarkable at what they do and if I had any questions relating to my kids they would be only too cheerful to help. I felt like parents and the team work together as a team to care for the kids. Both of my kids attended Kenwood Road Childcare centre until we moved out of the area.

December 13, 2024 at 4:55 pmThey both transitioned easily to school, and are both doing well. Kenwood was an outstanding journey for them (and us), the owner and her team are remarkable. It was like dropping the girls at family, not a business. Our two daughters both attended Kenwood, and they were very cheerful there.

December 21, 2024 at 11:27 amShe was very shy but the welcoming ‘ home from home’ setting allowed her to settle in quickly. The team were attentive and expert and I never had any worries about leaving her there. Would highly suggest. Our daughter spent 3 years here very happily.

December 24, 2024 at 11:30 amWe can’t thank the manager, team member and all the incredible team members there enough for being so inviting, welcoming, attentive and welcoming – both to our toddler and us as anxious parents! He looked forward to going in there every day and we had peace of mind leaving him, knowing he’d be so well looked after. The atmosphere was one of enjoyable and laughter and there was consistently excellent updates about what he’d got up to and how he was progressing. Thank you so much. Our little boy had a remarkable journey at Kenwood.

February 10, 2025 at 8:23 pmThe team are fantastic and come up with lots of enjoyable things for the kids to do. Both my kids regularly had seconds if not thirds of the meals provided, which I think says a lot about the food provided and how content they are when at the childcare centre. It is a smaller childcare centre which was important to me as I wanted somewhere that felt home from home. Both my kids have attended this childcare centre and I could not be happier with the care they have received.

February 13, 2025 at 10:22 pmIt’s small and family-run so you get an intimate sense because of this – with only about 30 kids there. There are dedicated baby, toddler and preschool rooms, which are really well equipped. You get updates on your kid’s development via an online app, so you can see pictures of activities they do in the day, which I loved.
The team are incredible, really well trained and qualified and my kid adored her key workers and they adored her. There’s a really low team turn over – only a couple moved during our time with Kenwood, so you know them and they all know your kid.
The outdoor space is smaller than other larger nurseries, but it’s more than enough for the small number of kids at Kenwood.
The home-cooked food and snacks are nutritious and varied every day, which is excellent.
Overall our journey of Kenwood was extremely positive and my kid loved going there. My kid attended Kenwood 4 days a week for 4 years and I couldn’t suggest the childcare centre enough.

March 17, 2025 at 7:38 amWe had the choice of several nurseries in the area and as it was our first kid, it was quite a daunting journey viewing and then selecting the right one. We had no previous journey on which to base our decision nor any friends who could make personal recommendations. However, we haven’t once doubted our decision. Our son has been so cheerful there – hardly a glance over his shoulder when we drop him off in the mornings! We’re in the process of moving to a different part of the country and one of the hardest parts of the whole move is knowing he won’t be going to Kenwood any more.
Thanks to the whole team for such fantastic care and assistance. Our son has attended Kenwood Day Childcare centre for the last 2 years or so and we couldn’t be more cheerful.

March 29, 2025 at 12:50 amThe team are compassionate and welcoming and the childcare centre feels like a home which is a lovely nurturing setting.
She enjoyed the lunches which were consistently varied and exciting, she made some excellent little friends there who have all developed into confident little kids.
Highly suggest Kenwood to anyone thinking of sending their little ones there. Our daughter went to Kenwood from a year old and absolutely loved it.

April 9, 2025 at 6:02 pmWhen I drop my little boy off I sense like I’m leaving him with a family member, the girls are so attentive to him, the food is all home cooked and the place is immaculate. Any feedback I leave with them they follow through with, both my kids have thrived here. It’s a well-kept secret (childcare centre) within Chorlton/Stretford and we were very lucky enough to find them. Make sure you sign up early as spaces are limited. But rest assured if you get in, your kids will be looked after above and beyond your expectations. Kenwood is a excellent little childcare centre, both my kids have gone here, one is currently still there.

May 5, 2025 at 11:04 amMy son attended when he was little, and my daughter is there now. The owner still plays an active role in the childcare centre and is often there, the manager is extremely efficient and really knows her stuff when it comes to kid development. In fact all the team there are lovely and seem to have been there a long time – one member of team, in particular, seems to have a real bond with my daughter and still pops in to see her now she’s in the ‘big room’. It’s such a small childcare centre so you sense like they really know your kid, and have a genuine affection for them. My son still loves going in and saying hello when we pick up his sister. The food is home cooked and nutritious and my kids loved/adore it. They also do nice things like hatch out eggs (ducklings this year), caterpillars, frogs etc and go on trips to the local park. I sense really lucky that both my kids have had a chance to go there. It is a lovely, welcoming, family sense childcare centre.

May 6, 2025 at 12:33 amThey have fond memories and formed strong bonds with the team and still talk about them. The girls were well cared for, had enjoyable and had lots of outside playtime which was my main concern but now having two in the school system Kenwood also sets the kids up well for school. My daughters are doing extremely well in attention, discovering, imagination, numeracy and reading and writing. Also, I found toilet training quite stress free but again this was largely due to the childcare centre team! It’s a small childcare centre so has a nice ‘homely’ sense. There is minimal team turnover (odd changes mostly for maternity covers). Also, the team arrange a special leavers day out for kids which was probably the girls first independent adventure and they both sleep with their leavers photo with their childcare centre friends by their bed! My two daughters attended Kenwood Day Childcare centre from just 1 until nearly 4 when they went to a school.
