Great and Small Kindergarten

Consistently comes home cheerful and tells me about all the activities he has done.
I’m consistently updated with pictures which are so nice to see.
All members of team are welcoming and very great at what they do! My son started this childcare centre and he loves it!

My little girl followed in her brothers footsteps at a lovely childcare centre that he loved but she just wasn’t cheerful and wasn’t thriving like I had imagined, then I came across this little gem! We went for a look around and I just knew it was the one for her, so we moved her. The team were lovely, welcoming and approachable and the childcare centre whilst it looked basic on first views, was full of enjoyable. They allow the kids to be free and encourage outdoor playtime in all weathers and my little girl came on so much whilst attending here. She came out of her shell and made friends, something which before she had struggled with. The childcare centre got her ready for school despite being the baby of the year and she started no further behind than the eldest kids! She was consistently cheerful to go, often asking to attend on days she was not down for because she enjoyed it that much. There was forever a smile on her face when she was there, I couldn’t of been a happier Mum! This childcare centre is just incredible, I can’t tell you enough!

My son personally loved the forest school and had such a bond with all the team. He still has friends he made whilst he was attending. Absolutely incredible team, who all focus on each individual kid and the needs they may have.

My kids are cheerful and willingly go to the childcare centre. Thank you to the whole team for such fantastic care. I suggest the childcare centre to all parents because it teaches and educates my second kid.

Because of that, it was the obvious choice when my daughter was old enough to attend. I didn’t look anywhere else as I knew that it was a lovely setting and that a lot of the same team worked there. In fact, my daughter’s key worker has known her since she was born from my son’s time there and reached out to let me know she was looking forward to looking after her. I’m very cheerful with the journey that we’ve had so far over the last few months, especially as we’ve been going through the potty training process! They’ve been so flexible and supportive! My son attended Excellent and Small Kindergarten for about a year when it first opened and we had a really positive journey.

My daughter absolutely loved her time here with the manager and the team. They helped so much with my daughters transition to school. Cannot suggest it enough. An absolutely incredible childcare centre, both settings are exceptional.

She loves it that much that she even wants to go on her days off. The team are remarkable and keep me updated on day to day activities and on how my daughter has progressed over the months of being there. I would highly suggest this childcare centre, absolutely remarkable all around. My daughter goes to this childcare centre and she absolutely loves it.

It’s daunting for any parent choosing a childcare centre for your kid, and trusting whose hands they’re going to be in. But after looking around multiple nurseries Excellent and Small was perfect. My son is nonverbal and autistic, much of the diagnosis process has happened whilst he’s been at childcare centre and they’ve been so hands-on and supportive. The small intimate setting and the amount of time they spend playing outside is perfect for my little boy, and all the team go out of their way to make sure he’s cheerful and accommodated, which can be difficult with a kid that can’t speak, but I couldn’t have asked for a better childcare centre for him and would highly suggest to any parent. All the team are remarkable and keep you updated, we’ll be sad to say goodbye! My son has been attending Excellent and Small Kindergarten for almost 18 months, and even though he’s starting school this September he’ll definitely be attending holiday club at Excellent and Small as he loves the team and setting so much and they’re all remarkable with him.

He’s making so much development and the activities reflect the kids’s interests and needs. It’s like a small family where all the team know each kid well. Absolutely adore this childcare centre. I adore that I can use the funded hours without additional costs incurred. A variety of snacks are offered morning and afternoon. My boy loves it when they go for walks to the shops or the park. They are incredible. My kid is absolutely loving kindergarten.
