The setting is engaging and interesting and the activities challenging yet enjoyable. The outdoor space is outstanding. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone looking for an outstanding forest childcare centre. My girls have loved attending this childcare centre for over 3 years.

I can honestly say First steps childcare centre has a lot to do with it. I adore their ethos and I have been able to trust them with my little girl. My little boy is also attending here and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My daughter has been attending First Steps childcare centre since she was 11 months old and she is now leaving for school at 4-years-old.

December 9, 2024 at 11:08 amEvery single member of the team is so inviting and welcoming and I sense like they genuinely adore what they do. I honestly can’t thank them enough! The outdoor paddock is a fabulous asset and I adore that the toddlers are out there in most weather conditions enjoying the outdoors, playing in the mud kitchen, broadening their imaginations and getting some fresh air. I would highly suggest this childcare centre! Both of my kids absolutely adore attending First Steps childcare centre.

They truly believe in allowing kids to be kids. We adore seeing our daughter, and others, coming out at the end of the day with giant smiles and mucky faces!
If you’re a family who value enjoyable, exploration, and lots of messy playtime. First Steps in an ideal childcare centre for you. We have seen our baby flourish into a confident toddler with a lust for discovering and a adore of the outdoors. Thank you to all of the team who have worked with her so far – you’ve done a tremendous job! Our little girl has attended First Steps childcare centre for 6 months now.

January 8, 2025 at 1:00 amEven though he suffered from separation anxiety, our son loved going to the childcare centre every day, it was actually a battle to get him home at pick up time because he just wanted to stay and playtime!! My son made lots of friends there but he also enjoyed mentoring the younger ones.
Every one of the key workers he has had, have been absolutely outstanding.
Throughout the week the kids have lots and lots of outdoor time, lots of stimulating activities organised for them but also plenty of time to discover the wonders of nature.
The food is remarkable, I consistently knew my son was going to have healthy meals every day even though he was a very fussy eater.
I would definitely suggest First Steps to anyone looking for an outstanding childcare provider. Our son went to First Steps childcare centre (Furness Vale) for 4 years, he was extremely cheerful there, they took excellent care of him throughout all the various stages of his development and when the time came they made sure he was school ready.

The childcare centre really focuses on developing a great sense of well-being in each kid in a secure nurturing setting. The woodland childcare centre has been a remarkable journey.
It’s been fantastic to see my daughter develop and grow at First Steps. Highly recommended! My daughter has had an incredible journey at First Steps childcare centre.

April 17, 2025 at 9:19 amThey take all the time needed for induction, carrying a baby in their arms for hours to build a bond and get them settled. 2nd kid will go there too! They have lots of different outside playtime areas with a lot of nature. The whole team is absolutely terrific with the kids.
