September 9, 2024 at 9:21 amHe settled in so quickly, clearly loves his time at childcare centre and has built strong connections with all of the team. The atmosphere of the childcare centre is really inviting and welcoming, but they also have a really strong focus on the kids’s development and he has learnt so much since he started there. The team are all expert and compassionate and the admin is super-efficient. Our son has been at Fatemah since October 2019 and we have been so cheerful with the childcare centre.

September 10, 2024 at 4:51 pmYou are not allowed in the childcare centre when collecting or dropping your kids and have to wait on the street. The wait times can be very long. The longest I waited was 32 minutes but I would say average waiting time for your kid is 12 minutes on collection. You cannot collect your kid ad hoc if before 4pm, you must choose from specific times (from memory 12pm, 2pm or 3pm) and you must book this in, in advance. You are not allowed to leave scooters or bikes (or anything that is not a pushchair) at the childcare centre and they frequently send emails asking parents not to leave pushchairs unless they really have to.
They continued to nap our kid despite us asking them not to.
They charged fees all through the time when they were closed because of lockdown (100% for the first month, 75% the second and 50% the 3rd). This equates to a 4 figure sum we were made to pay over the lockdown period when my kids did not attend the childcare centre at all, if we wished to keep their place. They also refused to furlough team during this time to try and save parents money because ‘they didn’t want to’.
They have also not reinstated some services they used to provide pre-covid (such as washing blankets – you now have to take home and wash your kid’s blanket every week).
You are also required to provide many things that other nurseries include like sun cream, nappy rash cream, cups, wipes etc.
Current fees for a full-time place for preschool-age kids are £1,326 per month.
Would not suggest. Fatemah’s are very strict.

September 20, 2024 at 2:03 pmMy younger one is still there. The team are really focused on the wellbeing and education of the kids and mine have consistently been cheerful and thriving there.
The aunties are dedicated and genuinely attentive and affectionate towards the kids. Together with the management team, they work with the parents to assistance the kids throughout their time there.
We have been very lucky with Fatemah Day Childcare centre for the care given to our kids and the peace of mind given to us parents, able to go to work knowing they’re in such great hands. Both my kids have attended Fatemah Day Childcare centre.

December 6, 2024 at 2:56 amHe has come on leaps and bounds socially, emotionally and developmentally. Fatemah Childcare centre have supported with potty training, eating independently and enforcing great manners and positive behaviours. He speaks fondly of the team and his friends. His language has developed quickly as when he started he was a reluctant speaker. The childcare centre are remarkable at relying his week at childcare centre and what will happen the following week, so activities can be supported at home. Thank you so much Fatemah Team! My son has been at the Childcare centre since August 2020 and absolutely loves it.

February 1, 2025 at 4:00 amHis progression, self‑assurance and structured development has been remarkable. Above all, he is vocally enthusiastic about his carers and peers, a testament to the positive connections and relationships he has made. Finally, Fatemah has been exemplary in keeping us up to date with his progression and are consistently approachable and supportive when navigating his care. We searched in detail for the right setting to send our boy before settling on Fatemah, a year on and we could not be happier with that choice.

February 21, 2025 at 6:35 amThey do a great range of activities and have a nice outdoor space. They stayed open throughout the pandemic, except for one week, whilst taking Covid restrictions very seriously. Their updates with parents for management issues, e.g. fees, Covid restrictions and any specific questions is very great, clear and prompt. They could improve general feedback about the kids. The weekly reports on the app are very generic, and verbal feedback at pick up etc is discouraged. Overall, very cheerful with the childcare centre and have absolute self‑assurance in their care of my kid. Will send our second kid there. My daughter loves going there and has a strong close relationship with the team.

May 15, 2025 at 9:03 pmOur kids really delight in their time at childcare centre and are well cared for by team, and have opportunities to learn lots of new skills and socialise with other kids. The administration is also outstanding, with clear and prompt updates about any issues. I would highly suggest Fatemah Childcare centre to other families.
