Established in 2016 and located in the scenic area of Englefield Green, Egham, Oaklands Dream Nest Nursery is a charming, home-like setting built on a simple belief: every child deserves a safe place to grow, learn, and feel understood. We treat early childhood not just as preparation for school, but as the foundational stepping stone for life.

Set in a gorgeous, green location, our nursery features bright, welcoming rooms packed with an array of stimulating toys and learning materials. One of our proudest features is our fantastic, expansive outdoor garden space—offering significantly more room for active play and nature exploration than standard local childcare facilities. We ensure children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in purposeful, creative play that sparks their natural curiosity.

Your child’s safety is at the very forefront of everything we do. The Oaklands branch features secure access systems to strictly prevent unauthorized entry, detailed visitor identification protocols managed directly by our team, and precise tracking of all arrival and departure times to give parents total peace of mind.
Working Closely with Parents
We value strong partnerships with families to support early development. Through our secure online learning journals and interactive daily care diaries, our experienced Level 2 and Level 3 practitioners keep you completely updated with photos and notes regarding what your child has been discovering and achieving throughout the day.

July 2, 2026 at 9:11 amWe have had such a positive experience with The Dream Nest Oaklands Nursery. From the very beginning, the team has been welcoming, caring, and supportive, which made us feel confident that our child was in safe hands.
The nursery has a warm and nurturing environment, and it is clear that the staff genuinely care about each child’s happiness, development, and wellbeing. Our child has settled in beautifully, grown in confidence, and enjoys taking part in the daily activities.
We also really appreciate the communication from the nursery team. It is reassuring to know what our child has been doing throughout the day and to see how much thought goes into creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
We are very happy with our choice and would definitely recommend The Dream Nest Oaklands Nursery to other parents.

The staff are amazing and I know she is genuinely loved and cared for – especially since sh also talks about them at home! She is thriving so I can’t thank the nursery staff enough- you guys are doing a fabulous job and as parents we can’t thank you enough
