Our nursery provides excellent care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Crescent Day Nursery in Edgbaston, Birmingham is a beautiful converted 2 storey property. Much of the character of the building has been retained to provide spacious and interesting rooms with first class facilities. Crescent will provide a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual.
Children’s days will be full of activities designed in line with EYFS principles and implemented by our highly trained and knowledgeable staff.
The nursery has 4 main play rooms with a secure garden at the rear of the building, fully enclosed and divided into a variety of safe and secure interest areas. We fully recognise the impact that being outdoors has on a child’s social, emotional and physical development.
We offer a fully inclusive service that includes formula milk, nappies, nappy cream, baby wipes, sun cream and freshly prepared, well-balanced meals throughout the day and all activities.

August 10, 2022 at 12:00 amThis is the second nursery my daughter attends. I can say that it is a mile ahead of other nurseries. Dedicated staff, facilities, communication and care of the children are amazing. Freshly cooked food, activities and higher-level educated staff are what makes the nursery. Five stars.

The activities are both stimulating and varied. Staff are highly qualified and diligent – nothing is too much trouble. They are all very energetic and understand my son’s needs.

They are both incredibly well looked after and have built some wonderful relationships with their key workers. Much of their development is down to the activities and environment provided by Crescent. My eldest is already looking forward to going to school and this is down to the encouragement she has received. I can’t thank all the staff enough.

The Crescent Day Nursery has been very welcoming and supportive, the staff have lots of experiences with SEN children and I am amazed to see how much my son has progressed and thrived. From a nonverbal 4-year-old to a chatty child who can verbally express most of his wants and needs in such a short period, I cannot express my gratitude enough for the time and energy they have dedicated to supporting him.

April 17, 2023 at 12:00 amA wonderful start for both of my children at Crescent Day Nursery. One will be going to school in September and Crescent has had a positive influence on her growth, confidence and understanding of the world. Activities, garden time, social events and day trips mean that my older child is always brimming with excitement to go in and sometimes asks to go in on her days off! My younger child has taken to nursery so positively. He is happy and participates in nursery life, has great connections with nursery staff he is spending time in a place that will really benefit his development. Children are always engaged with activities (I can see when I come to collect my own children) and most seem to form great connections with peers and staff. Feedback is dealt with positively, they are open to hearing and acting upon feedback given. Nutrition is a priority at Crescent, the kitchen team provides wonderfully creative, healthy meals from around the world and both my children eat very well whilst at nursery.

It was so hard for me to be able to leave my 1-year-old but they made me feel so comfortable and my nearly 2-year-old absolutely loves it, he’s progressed so much and his development has been amazing. I’m always kept up to date with any changes and updated via the app with his day details and photos.
I’m very happy I chose this nursery and I’m looking forward to seeing him excel in the next rooms he progresses to.

The facilities are beautiful, the staff are all so kind and caring and they go above and beyond for each and every child. My little boy comes home full of stories about his day and wakes up extra early on nursery days with excitement.

The care provided by all of the staff and key workers is second to none and both of our girls are developing really well. Crescent go above and beyond to ensure that both children and parents are supported, and we definitely feel a sense of community. Our girls love going each day and have made lots of friends, and are learning so much. It’s a happy and friendly place and we wholeheartedly recommend Crescent Day Nursery to anyone.

They are always looking for ways to further develop and engage with the children and it is really nice the recent addition of sign language for the children. The facilities are fantastic as is the outdoor space.

May 30, 2023 at 12:00 amThis is a progressive nursery that really looks after my child and enhances his learning and play. I have no concerns and it is a relief to be able to trust the very welcoming and friendly team. My child thrives at nursery and the staff are very supportive. The one thing is that it can get crazy at times at drop off/collection in the room but that shows how active and excited the kids are and it’s nice to see the various activities and themes. I appreciate the efforts and enjoy listening to my child show off his learning each evening.

June 7, 2023 at 12:00 amOur 11 month old daughter has been going to Crescent Day Nursery for the last 2 months and we could not be happier with our choice of nursery. There is always space in the car park to drop off/pick up, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the care, activities, facilities, garden, food, updates/feedback from staff etc. has surpassed all our expectations. Our daughter is always smiling and happy when I drop her off and pick her up, so is clearly enjoying her days at nursery.

She has built wonderful relationships with their key workers. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. So happy I chose this nursery. I feel my daughter is safe, she is learning new things.
