Our nursery provides excellent care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Crescent Day Nursery in Edgbaston, Birmingham is a beautiful converted 2 storey property. Much of the character of the building has been retained to provide spacious and interesting rooms with first class facilities. Crescent will provide a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual.
Children’s days will be full of activities designed in line with EYFS principles and implemented by our highly trained and knowledgeable staff.
The nursery has 4 main play rooms with a secure garden at the rear of the building, fully enclosed and divided into a variety of safe and secure interest areas. We fully recognise the impact that being outdoors has on a child’s social, emotional and physical development.
We offer a fully inclusive service that includes formula milk, nappies, nappy cream, baby wipes, sun cream and freshly prepared, well-balanced meals throughout the day and all activities.

Dedicated team, facilities, updates and support of the kids are fantastic. Freshly cooked food, activities and higher-level educated crew are what makes the nursery setting. Five stars.

They are both incredibly well looked after and have built some wonderful relationships with their key workers. My eldest is already looking forward to going to school and this is down to the encouragement she has received. Both of my girls join Crescent Day Nursery in pre-school and ladybirds. I can’t thank all the crew enough.

The premises are beautiful, the team are all so kind and caring and they go above and beyond for each and every kid. My little boy has been at Creasant Day Nursery for just over a year and I don’t have a bad word to say about the setting.

December 1, 2024 at 7:50 pmMy boy started preschool here in August. He moved from another childcare centre as he has special educational needs and his needs were not met there. From a nonverbal 4-year-old to a chatty kid who can verbally express most of his wants and needs in such a short period, I cannot express my gratitude enough for the time and energy they have dedicated to supporting him. The Crescent Day Nursery has been extremely welcoming and helpful, the crew have lots of experiences with SEN youngsters and I am amazed to see how much my young lad has progressed and thrived.

December 15, 2024 at 4:52 amA wonderful start for both of my kids at Crescent Day Nursery. My younger youngster has taken to early‑years hub so positively. Feedback is dealt with positively, they are open to hearing and acting upon feedback given. Activities, garden time, social events and day trips mean that my older little one is always brimming with excitement to go in and sometimes asks to go in on her days off! One will be going to school in September and Crescent has had a positive influence on her growth, confidence and understanding of the world. Children are always engaged with activities (I can see when I come to collect my own youngsters) and most seem to form great connections with peers and team. Nutrition is a priority at Crescent, the kitchen team provides wonderfully creative, healthy meals from around the world and both my kids eat exceptionally well whilst at nursery setting. He is thrilled and participates in early‑years hub life, has great connections with childcare centre team he is spending time in a place that will really benefit his growth.

X My young lad will miss Crescent’s whole team who was involved in his support when he will start school this year. Thank you for looking after my little one in early years. I treasure the service the care and dedication provided by the Crescent’s team. Caring for him when I was away at work and I knew he was in a protected environment.

I’m truly pleased I chose this early‑years hub and I’m looking forward to seeing him excel in the next rooms he progresses to. I’m always kept up to date with any changes and updated via the app with his day details and photos. It was so hard for me to be able to leave my 1-year-old but they made me feel so comfortable and my nearly 2-year-old absolutely treasures it, he’s progressed so much and his advancement has been incredible.

Love this childcare centre and how accommodating the team are to my child’s needs.

They are all extremely energetic and understand my son’s needs. They have worked exceptionally hard with my boy to help develop his speech. The activities are both stimulating and varied. I cannot speak wholeheartedly enough of Crescent Day Nursery.

They are always looking for ways to further develop and engage with the little ones and it is really nice the recent addition of sign language for the little ones. May 17, 2025 at 6:52 amThe one thing is that it can get crazy at times at drop off/collection in the room but that shows how active and excited the kids are and it’s nice to see the various activities and themes. I have no concerns and it is a relief to be able to trust the truly welcoming and kind team. My little one thrives at early‑years hub and the team are truly encouraging. I appreciate the efforts and enjoy listening to my kid show off his discovering each evening. This is a progressive early‑years hub that really looks after my little one and enhances his exploring and playtime.

Crescent go above and beyond to ensure that both kids and parents are supported, and we definitely feel a sense of community. The support provided by all of the team and key workers is second to none and both of our girls are developing really well. There is always space in the car park to drop off/pick up, the personnel are exceptionally cordial and useful and the care, activities, facilities, garden, food, updates/feedback from personnel etc. Our 11 month old young lady has been going to Crescent Day Nursery for the previous 2 months and we could not be happier with our choice of early‑years hub. Our girl is always smiling and pleased when I drop her off and pick her up, so is clearly enjoying her days at nursery setting.
