Craigard Nursery has been part of the Cumbernauld community for over 25 years. What started as a commitment to provide genuinely exceptional childcare in Dullatur has grown into something far deeper — a nursery that families return to, recommend to friends, and remember long after their children have moved on to school. We’ve cared for children from babies to school-leavers, watched families grow, and built relationships that last. Over 25 years, we’ve never lost sight of what matters most: knowing every child, supporting every family, and making Craigard feel like a second home.
Craigard is housed in a beautiful listed building in the exclusive conservation village of Dullatur, surrounded by extensive secure gardens. This setting is rare — and our children thrive in it. The combination of a calm, characterful building and real outdoor space means children at Craigard experience something most nurseries simply can’t offer: room to breathe, room to explore, and room to grow.

The nursery provides a lovely nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and build confidence at their own pace. We’ve been so happy with the care and attention our child receives and would definitely highly recommend it to other parents.

It’s such a warm, homely nursery where the children are genuinely cared for and encouraged to learn through fun and engaging activities. The staff are incredibly attentive and keep us updated throughout the day, which is so reassuring. It’s lovely to see what they get up to.
My little one is a huge fan. Every time we get in the car, I hear “Nursery!”, even when we’re not going there! That says it all. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would highly recommend Craigard Nursery to any parent.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better nursery for our Charlie. From the very beginning, the staff have been so kind, caring, and welcoming—not just to Charlie, but to us as a family too.
The team genuinely takes the time to get to know each child as an individual. It’s obvious they truly care about the children in their care and are invested in helping them feel happy, confident, and supported. Charlie is always welcomed with warmth, kindness, and respect, and it’s lovely to see the genuine relationships he has built with the staff.
The nursery has such a nurturing, caring atmosphere that it really does feel like a home away from home. As parents, there is no better feeling than knowing your child is safe, loved, and excited to go each day.
We are so grateful for everything the staff do and can’t thank them enough for the care, patience, and encouragement they show every single day. Charlie has flourished here, and we would recommend this nursery to any family without hesitation.

My son is always happy playing with his friends and kept occupied with many activities throughout the day, he has excelled in his vocabulary which was once a slight concern from the help of the Craigard team. I can highly recommend and vouch Craigard to anyone looking to enrol their child!

The staff are warm and welcoming, know the children personally and have lovely relationships with them.
I really appreciate the amazing range of activities and resources available – from crafts, stories, group time and learning activities to the beautiful garden, outdoor cabin and climbing frame – every childhood experience I could hope for is thoughtfully created for them at Craigard. They are safe, included, celebrated and are so happy there.
It’s been lovely to see the community links the nursery have developed over the years, through fundraisers and events, and most recently with visits from the Fire Service and to the local Care Home – there is always something new and exciting going on.
I’m so grateful to Craigard for giving my daughters such an enjoyable early childhood experience and for showing them how valuable it is to be part of a warm, caring community.

As a parent, leaving your child in someone else’s care can be difficult, but the staff have made us feel so reassured and confident that he is happy, safe and genuinely loved and cared for while he is there.
The staff know Kaleb so well and understand his personality, interests and little ways. It is clear that they genuinely care about him as an individual, and that means so much to us as parents.
Kaleb absolutely loves the outdoor space and always comes home with the most exciting tales about the places he has been and the things he has seen and explored. Hearing him talk about his adventures and seeing how excited he is to go back makes us so happy.
The staff at Craigard Nursery are truly a credit to the nursery. We are so grateful for everything they do for Kaleb and for all the wonderful experiences and memories they are helping him create. We couldn’t recommend Craigard Nursery highly enough. ❤️

Our son joined when he was 7 months old and from day 1 has developed great relationships with every member of staff. The staff are strong in communications with us as parents whilst also being incredibly attentive with the children.
There is lots of different stimulation and activities for the children, including a great mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Our son has particularly enjoyed the outdoor time this summer, and we’re grateful the staff facilitate this so much.

Previously he attended a nursery not too far away and we moved him for various reasons. Craigard have been amazing and continue to be. The team genuinely care about the kids and they really make a point to ensure fun and learning. My son has learned so much from the nursery. I cannot praise the nursery. Environment, care and love the team put into the kids enough. I was so nervous with nursery. But honestly my son loves it and the benefits of attending are clear. I trust the team to look after my most important wee guy and they do a fabulous job. They are always looking to do better, involve parents and make the nursery an amazing place to be.
