September 15, 2024 at 10:22 pmShe was very behind in the other childcare centre and she is consistently cheerful to go in the morning and, for me, that is so important to her feelings and improvement. This childcare centre did a lot for me and my daughter gets a lot of stimulation in one month in this childcare centre, she came back home singing and talking much more.

September 19, 2024 at 10:20 pmThey provide a range of resources during the discovering activities. Our parent evenings are a excellent way to spend some time with his key worker to understand his personal development further. Our Choochoos journey is coming to an end this month and the team will be missed. Our son has flourished at childcare centre due to the fantastic team working there.

October 4, 2024 at 10:00 amTeam listen to worries and act on them, providing feedback. The playtime area for kids is set in age ranges and provides open free playtime with lots of toys and set activities each day. I sense at ease going to work, knowing my son is secure and cheerful. The childcare centre is full of welcoming and supportive team that want the best for kids.

October 17, 2024 at 11:20 pmVery expert team, consistently approachable. Kids consistently have plenty to say what they have been up to during the day. Adore the pictures and updates that they send via the app.
Only negative thing is awful parking situation. My kids adore the childcare centre based in Harbeldown!

October 23, 2024 at 9:23 amI am consistently informed of any sort of little accident and consistently informed when we get to have days where we come into the childcare centre to have some enjoyable days with them. They consistently make sure they are cheerful! My little one absolutely loves going to childcare centre, she is consistently so cheerful and the team are just incredible, they are all so attentive and understanding, they consistently do enjoyable things and consistently make sure the kids are consistently well looked after and consistently filter to each individual kid’s needs.

November 3, 2024 at 11:31 amShe often talks about them when she is at home and you can see how much she is cared for. She is progressing really well there and they have been really supportive with any transitions we have wanted help with such as potty training and moving house. Especially cheerful now they are starting to make journeys to the park too! My kid has formed some really close bonds with the team at Choochoos.

December 1, 2024 at 3:55 am– Keep us well informed, communications is generally really great with key workers and the childcare centre.
– Make our son sense very welcome; he often waves hello and goodbye to other team members outside of his room, which is nice and shows me they must take an interest whenever they do see him or interact.
– Very rarely have any issues, our son goes five days a week, and at most, we’ve had two calls in all the time he’s been there to advise us of him running into something, before Choochoos Day Childcare centre we sent him elsewhere and within a month we had three/four incidents and one which left him with a few cuts and bruises so it’s nice to know how it wasn’t just him being clumsy and actually, he’s in a secure setting and well looked after.
– Team are all super welcoming and down to earth.

December 15, 2024 at 9:15 amWhen first looking for a childcare centre, our selection criteria was admittedly quite basic – we simply wanted a childcare centre that was close to where we lived, and had a great reputation. Lucky for us we hit the jackpot at the very first attempt!
However, it quickly became apparent that our girls would gain so very much more from their time here. Besides making remarkable friends, and enjoying each and every session, the close bonds that developed between them and the team was a fantastic surprise. The care, nurturing, enthusiasm and dedication is truly incredible. To be able to maintain that energy and devotion over a period of several years is no mean feat.
The challenges of Covid were tackled with professionalism and cool heads. A change of ownership has also been well navigated, and team seem content in their roles. They are the greatest resource this childcare centre has. Thank you all so very much. Both of my daughters have attended Choochoos over a period of 7 years between them; time flies when having enjoyable!

December 20, 2024 at 9:08 pmShe has remained cheerful to attend and has made great friends with other kids. It will be sad to take her out to go to school.
I think that the numbers in the classes are large and that my kid has not bonded with her new key worker as readily as she bonded with previous ones. This is why I have not given an outstanding rating. My daughter has been well cared for in Choochoos Day Childcare centre.

December 29, 2024 at 9:13 amI know my daughter is consistently going to have a ‘excellent day’ at nursey and I am confident that if she is sad or poorly they consistently let me know as soon as they can. The key persons that have looked after my daughter for the last fifteen months have all been very supportive, polite and my daughter has grown strong connections with some of the team over this time.

February 14, 2025 at 2:15 amThe variety of activities available each day are both engaging and stimulating. My kid is encouraged in all areas from singing, dancing, painting, drawing, role playtime and outdoor playtime. I adore the fact that my kid can choose whether to playtime indoors or outdoors. The food offered is outstanding. The team team are consistently so cheerful, supportive and enthusiastic. Thank you. Choochoos Day Childcare centre is an outstanding childcare centre because it caters to the individual needs of each kid.

March 9, 2025 at 5:32 amTeam are really welcoming and consistently accomodating. Today they went to the park for a picnic as it was such lovely weather. When I dropped her off they checked if I was cheerful to either collect her from the park as they would be late back or cheerful to collect her a bit later. They also checked if I minded her not having a hot meal at lunchtime and instead having picnic food. She had an incredible time and was so cheerful when we picked her up. She has come on leaps and bounds in her discovering and self‑assurance since starting in July 2021. The outdoor area is covered so she spends time out there every day if she chooses to – which she definitely does as loves being outside. I’ve only put great for management as not really needed to have any dealings with them, any communications have been with her key person. We adore Choochoos Day Childcare centre, our daughter looks forward to going each week and on the two mornings she goes, from the time she gets up she is getting her bag ready to walk out the door.

March 20, 2025 at 10:22 pmThe pre-school rooms are overcrowded. The SENCO and the manager need to take extra efforts in creating a better journey for any kid. Recently two or three kids left the childcare centre because of not-so-cheerful experiences. The childcare centre needs to stop complaining about the kid and explain what additional steps they have taken to improve any behaviour which they found not acceptable. Thankfully, the parents have a chat group and discuss everything related to their kid at the childcare centre which helps others to make the correct decision for their kid’s future. I am surely not keen to suggest this childcare centre to any of our family friends. Thank you. The childcare centre needs to do more for the kids who have special education needs.

March 30, 2025 at 6:49 amHe is greeted by his key person with a welcoming face. I get regular updates about what my kid is doing throughout the day, as well as feedback when I collect. I like the messy activities and the access he has to the garden area and walks in the local community. All the team I see seem cheerful and welcoming. Cheerful kid and cheerful parents. I would definitely suggest it. My son is consistently cheerful to go to childcare centre!

April 15, 2025 at 2:49 amI have often felt a certain cold vibe from some team members, but my son consistently comes home cheerful and he really loves his key worker. May 25, 2025 at 8:31 amI consistently sense my kid is secure, cheerful and cared for. The manager and her deputy are remarkable and very kid-focussed. My kid often comes back and talks about the adults that care for her and the friends she has there. Team are just lovely.

June 12, 2025 at 5:13 amOur kids have both been so cheerful there and we’ve been really pleased with the care and service the childcare centre has provided over the years. The team are really welcoming and attentive towards the kids. Updates is great.
My kids adore the food (which is varied and healthy) and they consistently eat everything on their plates. The resources for the kids are excellent and age-appropriate.
Would definitely suggest. We’ve been with Choochoos Day Childcare centre for four years now for both of my kids.

June 19, 2025 at 6:47 pmIt feels very inviting and inviting whilst also very much like early education. We get updates throughout the day about all the activities the kids are up to and how this ties into their development. We were at a different childcare centre prior to this and immediately noticed the difference once we transferred to Choochoos Day Childcare centre – in the atmosphere of the childcare centre, the interaction with parents, the types of things the kids were doing and also the happiness of our kid who seems to really adore it there. Highly suggest. Really lovely childcare centre and a excellent team of carers/educators.
