Stepping into Children's House Day Nursery is like entering a world where joy knows no bounds. Every corner of the nursery resonates with the joyful energy of children engaged in explorations, discoveries, and creativity. It's a place where smiles are shining and curiosity is celebrated.
What sets Children's House apart is its unyielding dedication to creating a truly happy space. Our staff have a genuine passion for childcare, children’s development, and a desire to provide fun, they are enthusiastic educatours. Their patience, warmth, and commitment ensure that every child feels valued, secure, and empowered. The nurturing environment, emotional well-being, a strong sense of self, and the development of essential life skills.
Chldren's House Day Nursery isn't just a space where children learn about the environment; it's a space where they connect with it intimately.
The outdoor area is an enchanting playground of exploration, where children can discover the wonders of the natural world. Whether it's observing the life cycles of plants, engaging in sensory activities in the garden, or simply basking in the open air.
Children's House Day Nursery takes its role as a steward of the environment seriously. With a commitment to sustainability, the nursery embraces eco-friendly practices that inspire children to be responsible of our ecosystem. Through interactive activities, children learn about the importance of conserving resources and protecting the environment. The nursery's commitment extends beyond the walls, encouraging families to adopt eco-friendly habits at home.
We enhance children’s learning with such things as French lessons, trips to nearby parks, the Trail, visits to Southwell Care Home, and our Forest School Sessions. We care about the environment and sustainability is part of nursery life, we plant a tree for each child that starts and use Ecoballs for washing amongst many other things.
Childcare Funding is due to be expanded over the coming months and years so that all children will be able to access 15 or 30 funded hours which is creating higher demand for places.

Highly compassionate people and can see my son attending this childcare centre for many years ahead until he goes to school.
They cater nicely to my son’s diet and consistently engage in activities such as Eid al-Fitr and Ramadan. My son loves this childcare centre.

The girls are highly expert and I would have no doubt in recommending Kids’s House Childcare centre. My son has recently started at the childcare centre and we have noticed a difference in his speech and development already.

Updates is easy and thoughtful and the app makes keeping updated super quick. Thank you so much to all the team who have and continue to assistance our family. My youngest daughter is currently loving going to Kids’s House Childcare centre, with my 2 older kids having loved going before her.

From our induction day to now being three days a week, 9 am until 3 pm, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, we could not want anymore, the updates is outstanding and we are highly cheerful.

Outstanding educators help the kid to grow and learn about the world around him. Outstanding nutrition, lots of outdoor games, various game tasks that help the kid to develop. A huge thank you to Kids’s House Childcare centre for your assistance and help. We moved from Ukraine a few months ago, but thanks to Kids’s House Childcare centre, my daughter feels highly well in a foreign language setting.

December 17, 2024 at 5:36 pmThe team are consistently enthusiastic and approachable. My kids happily run into childcare centre in the morning and regularly don’t want to come home again as they are having far too much enjoyable!
The activities they set up and provide are consistently enjoyed, especially the extras in preschool like forest schools and French lessons.
Thank you Kids’s House for creating such a inviting and loving setting for our kids to come to. I cannot fault Kids’s House Childcare centre and the care both of my kids receive.

December 25, 2024 at 3:52 amShe talks about the team at home and my husband and I couldn’t be happier with the setting she’s in. She settled in truly well both as a baby and post – Covid break – this is down to the enthusiastic and loving members of the team in both rooms.
Also a huge thank you to the management for coping with my ever-changing work patterns. My daughter absolutely loves going to Kids’s House Childcare centre – she skips in and doesn’t even say goodbye to me!

The team at Kids’s House are lovely, polite and highly reassuring. They would tell me exactly what he had been up to during the day and he has lots of lovely bits of artwork he brings home. My son took a couple weeks to settle completely but since he started in November, there has been a huge difference and he loves going. My journey of Kids’s House Childcare centre has been outstanding.

The handover from team at pick up time is consistently greatly appreciated and it’s nice that team take the time to tell me about my kid’s day. Team are all supportive, attentive and welcoming. The blossom app is excellent. I consistently look forward to seeing updates about my kid’s day. I can see that my kid has access to a wide range of activities and discovering. My kid has shown improvement in various aspects since attending. I am truly pleased that events are planned such as Santa visits and the Easter bonnet parade. I would definitely suggest Kids’s House to anyone. My kid truly enjoys going to Kids’s House Childcare centre.

Cannot suggest this childcare centre enough. The team and management don’t just assistance your kid but assistance the whole family. Well done! March 28, 2025 at 2:47 amThe team are super welcoming, from the moment you drop off in the morning and they provide a enjoyable, secure and varied setting for all ages. The updates on the Blossom app throughout the day are remarkable, I adore seeing little videos of the girls laughing, playing and discovering new things whilst I’m at work. They do so many activities with the kids, from trips to the park, discovering sign language, visiting the local library, messy playtime, forest schools and so much more. Our girls have also consistently slept and eaten so well there and adore the home cooked food. I can’t suggest Kids’s House enough! We have been using Kids’s House Childcare centre now for 5 years and both of our girls absolutely adore going.

The stay and playtime days are invaluable and help both kid and parent sense more relaxed.
The app offered is a fantastic introduction to the running of the childcare centre; you sense like you’re part of their day and having their schedule to bring home is excellent to ensure their day carries on smoothly.
A special thank you to the childcare centre practitioners, their bubbly, positive personalities are the best thing to be greeted with each morning; it gives me a boost to my day too knowing I’m going to work and leaving my son with such lovely, attentive people. Kids’s House Childcare centre is an all-round remarkable childcare centre, from the management team to the carers, the journey throughout enquiry to sign up.
The carers are incredible; the passion they have for their jobs shines through.

Now she is settled it is so lovely to see the bond she has formed with her key person, who is incredible!

May 19, 2025 at 6:33 amMy kid shouts ‘yay childcare centre’ every time we pull up. No tears and just excitement from my son who previously cried every time at another childcare centre. They are particularly great at making each kid sense special and are highly in tune to their feelings and knowing how to help and engage with them as soon as they open the door. Outstanding childcare centre.

June 5, 2025 at 11:43 amThe childcare centre and all team are excellent with my daughter, she’s well cared for, well fed and cheerful at childcare centre. She is engaged in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities (no matter what the weather!). They definitely aren’t a ‘spotless playtime’ childcare centre where your kid won’t get mucky by not using paints etc. We regularly get an apology from the team as my daughter has a tendency to jump right into the middle of all activities. Who cares about a paint stained t-shirt when our kid has had excellent enjoyable and learnt something new? I know I don’t! Excellent work, keep it up! To be honest, this review can cover from December 2021 when my daughter started to the present day.

They plan some lovely activities to involve the parents and get involved with the community events. All 3 of my kids have been to this childcare centre and have had a truly excellent journey.
