The team are incredible and consistently so welcoming and welcoming all whilst with a smile on their faces. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre highly enough.

September 22, 2024 at 2:38 amHe absolutely loves going to childcare centre and exploring the setting. He loves playing outside in the fresh air and has lovely relationships with all the team. I wouldn’t trust any place more. My little boy has been attending the setting for six months now from being 3 months old.

So pleased we chose this fantastic setting. It’s a lovely feeling when you know you are dropping off your kid to a welcoming setting with people who genuinely delight in being with and attentive for kids. Our little one has attended childcare centre here since 11 months.

October 14, 2024 at 5:55 pmHe loved going to childcare centre twice a week and with the help of all the team there, he progressed so well with all skills. Since then, I have also sent my son (9 months when he started) to this childcare centre so I could get back to work. I was so worried about sending him at such a young age, as I imagine any parent is, but he absolutely loves it. Smiles going in smiles coming out. I will be upping his hours next month due to starting my uni course and I have no worries that he will be ok. Adore this childcare centre and all the team there thank you so much for being the best to our kids! My stepson has attended this childcare centre since he has been 2 years old and now just graduated to start primary school.

December 9, 2024 at 2:11 amIt’s hard to leave your kid with ‘strangers’, but the induction process was outstanding and transitions/change is managed well. Team are inviting, approachable and are genuinely fond of her. They have an individual, structured approach to her needs and development, and updates is outstanding. She has come on leaps and bounds, particularly in social development with the other kids. There are lots of organised activities to stimulate the kids and plenty of time in the outdoor areas for fresh air. Additional safety procedures due to the pandemic, helped me to sense confident about her returning when they reopened. They are a little more expensive than some of the other nurseries in town, but having visited a lot of care settings when we were looking, I absolutely think the quality of care justifies the price. They also invest in the continual improvement of the rooms and equipment. My daughter has been attending the childcare centre since she was 8-months-old and is now nearly three.

December 26, 2024 at 9:47 amSince my son started he has come on in leaps and bounds, the team are exceptional and my son loves to attend. Couldn’t suggest enough. They are remarkable with kids that also need that extra assistance, before attending my son didn’t communicate, now he is improving by the day.
The opening hours are fabulous for parents that work full-time too. I couldn’t be more grateful to the team here at Kids 1st @ Newark Town Day Childcare centre.

February 27, 2025 at 7:14 amI was so nervous on finding a new childcare centre, however, the team from the old childcare centre highly recommended this one. Upon visiting, it was plain to see how much all the team cared for the kids. I adore that there is an app so you can see everything your kid is doing. You are kept well in the loop with what is going on with your kid and it’s plain to see what a great job they do when your kid comes back pretending to be some of the members of team. They have all been absolutely incredible with my son and I couldn’t suggest them more! My kid has been attending Kids 1st @ Newark Town Day Childcare centre since February after the previous childcare centre closed.

My daughter is attending this childcare centre, not so long time, just three months, because of moving to another town.

March 14, 2025 at 2:27 pmMy son’s teacher keeps me updated daily with his activities. My son has learnt songs and rhymes and loves to do them and show me.
My son has a dinner every day and it’s varied and has had him trying new things which is exceptional as at home he isn’t a excellent eater. So knowing that he has a well-balanced meal at school is a excellent achievement.
The childcare centre is well-lit, bright and feels secure. There are plenty of activities to be done and the kids all interact with each other.
I highly suggest the childcare centre and I truly can’t fault it. I absolutely adore this childcare centre, my son started in September and he has come on leaps and bounds.
The educators are all remarkable, welcoming and welcoming.

The educators are so attentive and gentle with him and he even has his favourites. Their attention to detail is excellent and I sense there is a personal level of attention and commitment. We get a full update on my son’s development through daily verbal and written updates, as well as tips on how to assistance his development (including a handbook). My son loves going to the childcare centre every day and I am confident he is cheerful, secure and discovering. Best decision ever to send him to Kids 1st @ Newark Town Day Childcare centre. I absolutely adore the childcare centre.

March 31, 2025 at 10:18 amMy son receives a inviting and welcoming welcome each morning which helps him settle quickly and I can be on my way.
I consistently get feedback after each visit and it’s clear my son is discovering and socialising.
He also gets introduced to new foods which he won’t eat at home!
With the childcare centre located amongst mature trees, it was a pleasure to see gates, fences and handles cleaned from bird droppings without having to ask.

I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone. Kids 1st @ Newark Town Day Childcare centre has been incredible for my daughter’s development.

May 4, 2025 at 2:38 amSince then they have provided a highly attentive and welcoming service and my daughter loves attending. My daughter will need surgery next year and a lot of aftercare which Kids 1st @ Newark Town Day Childcare centre have been exceptionally willing to help with which is an enormous weight off my shoulders. I doubt many other nurseries in the area would have taken the same position. The childcare centre was hugely supportive and supportive during a difficult first few days as my baby adapted.

June 20, 2025 at 7:03 pmI sense cheerful to leave him there, knowing he is in great care. I have not tried other nurseries in the area, but after looking around some, this was the only one I liked. Bright and colourful inside, spotless and full of toys to playtime with, and the ladies who work there are all so nice and supportive, nothing is ever a problem for them, and they definitely go out of their way to make sure you are cheerful with everything! Lovely garden as well, with a excellent space for the kids to run around. My little boy has settled in truly well to this childcare centre.

July 1, 2025 at 11:42 pmDrop off at the gate is easy and the team are consistently so welcoming. They give exceptional feedback at the end of a session. Even though we only do three afternoons a week, my son settled in so well and they seemed to get to know him so quickly. The team are consistently highly open and honest about everything and updates has consistently been exceptional. I’m highly impressed at all the activities they do and adore their outdoor space. I think they have done an incredible job with bubbles for the kids. They are also flexible and highly organised. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. Our son joined in September at age 3 for funded hours, and despite us joining during a pandemic, the childcare centre have been outstanding.

I visited several childcare centre settings within the area, some of which were advertised as award-winning. Every single childcare centre I toured left me feeling truly disappointed until I walked into Kids 1st @ Newark Town. The outside space is incredible and completely secure. There is a excellent fob entry system, and the rooms are enjoyable and engaging. My little boy has thrived here, and I have never had an issue. Their handy app allows for constant updates and highlights just how personal this childcare centre is. They have a range of different meals and are flexible and attentive. I cannot rate this childcare centre highly enough. Thank you to the whole team for taking my mum guilt away and providing a home from home journey. When looking for a childcare centre for my kid, it was truly important to find a childcare centre that felt like a home for my little boy.
