September 16, 2024 at 4:02 amShe began as a timid 10-month-old, who hadn’t met many adults or other kids partly due to the pandemic. Now she is a confident, adventurous 21-month-old who smiles and waves at anyone she meets. My daughter is clearly highly relaxed and cheerful to be with the team at childcare centre, this is because she trusts them.
In my view, the individuals (team) who work with my daughter are outstanding. They are what make the atmosphere so inviting and calm. They are consistently attentive, patient and genuinely interested in my daughter having a great time while she is with them. The management are welcoming and expert and are only a phone call away when I’ve needed them. Keep up the great work everyone at St Nicolas! My daughter has thrived during her time at Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School @ St Nicolas House.

October 11, 2024 at 4:22 pmThey provide truly great feedback throughout the days whilst he is there and are welcoming and informative when I collect him.
The childcare centre has been truly willing to accommodate changes to my son’s childcare centre schedule and I sense truly confident that he receives great care and assistance whilst he is with them.
They have been truly keen to be involved with his development and he has developed so much since starting there.
They are building a new outdoor space which I know will make my son’s time at the childcare centre even better. My son is so cheerful at the childcare centre, he loves seeing his key worker and both senior lead and the apprentice who also look after him, he comes home truly cheerful and relaxed and is truly cheerful to go into the childcare centre.

October 16, 2024 at 5:38 amThe team and facilities are outstanding. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed herself and made a number of friends. She is a fussy eater but the team still get her to eat well. The new garden that has been recently added is highly great. My daughter has been at the childcare centre since the covid rules allowed it.

October 31, 2024 at 11:53 pmHe has been cheerful and settled and it is so rewarding seeing the relationship between him and the team developing – he is so cheerful to be dropped off there in the morning. We weren’t able to visit the childcare centre prior to him starting because of Covid, which was a truly daunting thing, but the team were exceptional at keeping in contact with us to make the transition as easy as possible and the manager has been more than cheerful to answer all of our questions and put us at ease! They had an open day recently where we got to go in and look around the various rooms and the garden space – oh my god! I was blown away – it totally exceeded my expectations, it is such a smart childcare centre and the garden is just incredible! We are so cheerful to know he is being looked after so well and the setting is so lovely too! Our son started at Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School @ St Nicholas House in January of this year and so far we have been so pleased with the childcare centre.

November 10, 2024 at 2:15 amWe have found the team all so enthusiastic with a passion for childcare, it’s made leaving our kid in their hands so easy. After two and a half years they have truly prepared our kid for school, supported her needs, encouraged her with friendship making and fuelled her self‑assurance as well as fulfilling her desire to learn!
The childcare centre is absolutely stunning and with the addition of the new garden playground and facilities, it makes for a perfect setting.
As a parent, the updates via emails has been outstanding and the management team are quick to respond to any worries/queries.
Overall, our journey has been outstanding and we will definitely be sending our newest addition here when the time comes. Thank you Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School @ St Nicholas House! My daughter started in 2020 and although in the midst of Covid, the childcare centre was amazingly accommodating.

November 10, 2024 at 2:24 pmAll of the team are so welcoming and welcoming. The facilities are remarkable, we were lucky enough to look around, pre-Covid times, and the facilities are second to none. We absolutely fell in adore with the building, the garden, the resources and everyone we met. Our daughter is confident, sociable, welcoming and everyone comments on how well she communicates (which I definitely credit to the incredible team at the childcare centre!) thank you all so much. Our daughter has thrived at Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School, minus a small break (due to Covid), she’s been at the childcare centre for over two years.

January 14, 2025 at 6:41 amThey have highly high standards, cleanliness, highly nice team who take care of my son and apparently the food is highly great too since he eats all the time. All that being saying this made me register my son at Chestnut Research Park in Norwich even if it takes twenty minutes to get there. Thank you so much for everything. After I visited five local nurseries since I move out from North Walsham and saw how dirty they were, some didn’t offer food, others asked for £45/week consumables, I realized how much it mattered that my son was at Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School St Nicholas House.

January 15, 2025 at 4:23 amThis fear, however, was eased greatly with the time and care initially received by the manager, she took a great amount of her time out reassuring my wife and I of the set-up at Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School @ St Nicholas House and how our little girl will be looked after. Explaining the routine in the room, the food that will be served and the activities she would be getting up to, all truly encouraging and it was this that assured us St. Nicholas was the right place!
The whole handing over process was difficult going through the pandemic. Before the big first day came, it was suggested (as it is for all) we have a few introduction sessions. Here, our little girl met her key worker for the first time. She was fantastic, simply fantastic. Her warming nature made her go to her from the first minute. Easing our concerns from the start.
First-class team, the lot of them. 5-star. With my wife and I both being new parents it was a rather daunting idea of handing our little girl over to strangers, albeit professionals!

January 25, 2025 at 4:21 pmBeing a first-time mum, they could not have done anymore to make my little boys settling in sessions easy, reassuring me along the way and showing a real passion towards working with and attentive for kids. Their facilities and outdoor space is second to none compared to any other childcare centre close by. Most importantly they went above and beyond catering for my little boy’s allergies and intolerances, even managing to turn him into a remarkable eater! The manager and the rest of the team have been incredible since I first contacted Chestnut.

Everything to aid a kid’s discovering, independence and wellbeing is readily available. I have never been to a setting with such incredible team and management. I can not suggest this setting enough. There are no words I can use to stress how cheerful I am with the Childcare centre and Holiday Centre.

January 28, 2025 at 12:20 pmSettling sessions accommodated our needs which resulted in a smooth transition for our kid. The information provided at the start was outstanding and the updates to date has continued in the same vain. For example, the management of a change in key worker was handled exceptionally well with clear updates in advance and plenty of assistance for our kid during their transition. The team are compassionate and energetic and set up lots of interesting activities for the kids to keep them entertained and discovering. Management care about each kid’s journey at the childcare centre. One of the biggest highlights for us is the childcare centre’s outdoor space which is spectacular. From the moment I made contact with Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School @ St Nicholas House, I was impressed by the warmth, enthusiasm and professionalism of the team at the childcare centre.

March 30, 2025 at 4:43 amHe was highly cheerful from the beginning. The team are stellar, they look after our boy amazingly. We consistently pick him up highly happily.
Sadly, we have to move to another city because of work and they totally understand our situation, making things quite easy for us. Even we will finish a week early and they accepted.
If you are doubting what childcare centre to choose in North Walsham, please do not doubt anymore, Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School @ St Nicholas House is your childcare centre, your kid will be well looked after and he/she will delight in every moment.
Highly recommended! We wish to have the same one in the new city. Our boy joined this childcare centre last year.

April 7, 2025 at 7:45 pmThey are consistently so cheerful to go in the mornings and it’s no surprise given the facilities and welcoming/attentive team. The garden is absolutely incredible. Even though they are identical twins, they are treated like individuals and the team consistently know who is who! We were invited to an Open Day at the childcare centre a few weeks ago and you could tell how much all the team delight in working at Chestnuts, my Partner and I were blown away by how welcoming everyone was and how much effort had been put into the day. A big thank you to all of you, we can’t imagine sending the girls anywhere else! Our twins started at Chestnut Childcare centre around 3/4 months ago and are absolutely thriving there.

Chestnut’s at St Nicholas goes against the ‘norm’ – it has created a lovely positive setting with it’s carefully chosen furniture and toys. Having experienced the ‘typical’ childcare centre setting before my kids came here, I can honestly say this is the best I have come across. My baby and preschooler are thriving after only 5 weeks! A remarkable journey.

May 13, 2025 at 5:27 pmSince the moment my son started, they have gone above and beyond to ensure he is settled and that his needs are met. The team are expert, well‑informed, attentive, trustworthy…I could go on.
My son loves attending childcare centre and both my husband and I can go to work secure in the knowledge that he is being well cared for.
Thank you to all the team for making my return to work as easy as possible. I cannot speak highly enough of Chestnut St Nicholas House.

Also, the childcare centre team are compassionate and approachable and highly supportive. I highly suggest this childcare centre. Since my kid has started at Chestnut Boutique Childcare centre School @ St Nicholas House I can see he has developed more social skills and academic achievements.

June 25, 2025 at 4:35 pmI consistently found the team to be inviting and welcoming and to make truly positive relationships with the twins. Any challenges were dealt with in a truly sensitive and developmentally aware way. Both of my kids truly enjoyed their time here and progressed in many aspects of their development. They made some lovely, little friends and they truly loved their networkers. I consistently found the managers and team to be approachable and supportive. My twins were at the childcare centre for nearly two years.

July 1, 2025 at 6:41 pmIt is decorated beautifully, the team are attentive and truly take the time to get to know your kid. There are many toys, all made from natural materials. There are different activities provided ie painting/messy playtime. They cater well with my kid’s dietary requirements, providing generous portions of healthy food. My kid feels highly at home here. Lovely childcare centre.
