Our Nursery Head Teacher, Sam, has 8 years’ of childcare experience and a Level 4 Advanced Management Qualification. Sam is passionate about childcare and really enjoys watching the children develop and learn.

June 12, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son thrives at this nursery. It’s just perfect. The staff all know him so well and understand his needs. He gets all the comfort he needs to build his confidence and try new things. He has been at the nursery since he was a baby and has just moved into the pre-school room. The transition has been well handled, and my son was ready for it; they really know what they are doing.

They consistently go above and beyond to not only teach and nurture our two children at the nursery, but to make parents feel confident, in the loop and listened to. Introducing our 12-month-old to the nursery was the most positive part of my return to work after maternity leave. She was so happy, felt secure and loved and has developed so much, that we have had complete confidence dropping her off each day. The management and staff have been very flexible, accommodating and welcoming too. We can’t thank or praise them highly enough.

June 26, 2022 at 12:00 amI can honestly say Buttercups at Teddington is the best small nursery! You know you have hit the jackpot when your child looks forward to going to nursery and is very eager – walks straight in with a big smile, runs to their teachers and gives the biggest hug to them. The setting is good, but most importantly, the staff are amazing. This, I believe, is the key to having a real happy/nurtured/well-rounded kid. The teacher-parent partnership is next to none and you feel involved in the most positive way with the nursery. Their ethos of learning through play ensures the kids are taking in a huge amount without noticing as they are having so much fun. Highly recommended!

July 20, 2022 at 12:00 amI couldn’t rate the nursery highly enough. My son loves it, always smiling when I pick him up and happy when he arrives. The manager and two other members of staff, in particular, are all wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend.

October 27, 2022 at 12:00 amThe team at Buttercups are caring, nurturing, brilliant teachers and the (reasonably) new management team are superb. The teachers really listen to any questions/concerns parents have and work in partnership with you on things like diet, potty training, learning to write etc. The small setting means that all the staff know your child and actually learn your name too! My daughter has been at the nursery for nearly three years now and I can say that every room/age group has brilliant team leaders that she has bonded with and adores.

October 27, 2022 at 12:00 amMy oldest child and youngest one have attended this nursery since they were 11 months old. During this time we have always found this nursery to do so much more than they possibly have to. They put plenty of events on, that the parents can attend and enjoy. Both of my children have loved it and one still is enjoying their time here. The garden offers plenty of outside fun and stimulation and the teaching we have always found to be fantastic. Highly recommend.

Happily recommend to anyone. Our child comes home happy (and tired) from all the fun he’s had every day and practically runs in there in the morning.

The new facilities create many spaces for different activities; the soft play, dance studio and the garden PE lessons. We would highly recommend as well-organised, kind and fun nursery.

May 1, 2023 at 12:00 amBoth of our children attend Buttercups at Teddington and love it. The staff at Buttercups are phenomenal and really are supportive to both parents and children in the nursery. Having an environment which is nurturing and fun has really developed our eldest in the right way both educationally and emotionally. As working parents this is something which was really important to us. We have recently just started our second child in the Baby Room and it really has cemented our appreciation of how the focus on early years and effort put in right from the start has made such a positive impact. Big thanks to all at Buttercups!

The staff are warm and engaging, and we really feel like he is getting individual attention to his growth and development. They recently opened new facilities like a soft play room and a dance area, so there is lots to do. And the communication is exceptional too. I would highly recommend Buttercups Teddington to any energetic and inquisitive child!

He skips to nursery each day and has built a great and very caring rapport with all the staff at Buttercups. The whole team really does go above and beyond in terms of looking after their little charges and also do some superb and very well-attended parents/family events across the year. Highly recommend!
