Description
The history of Busy Bees begins 41 years ago, with our own search for the right nursery.
We wanted to give our children the best start in life, which to us meant better, more exciting care, stimulating environments, and lots of opportunities for play, interaction and development, at their own pace and in their own space. We couldn't find a nursery that offered everything we wanted. So, we decided to found it ourselves in 1983 and opened The Rocklands in Lichfield, Staffordshire a year later.
In that very first Busy Bees nursery, we created a safe and enriching home-from-home environment filled with opportunities to learn. We recruited passionate staff with boundless enthusiasm for their work and a never-ending commitment to the children. It was a place where children's emotional needs were met, their interests were nurtured, and their individuality was respected, which made it somewhere parents loved too.

October 9, 2024 at 9:22 amThe transition was smooth, and the team provided the necessary help for both him and us. He is now feeling more confident and is discovering new things every day. Team and management are doing an incredible job and are consistently supportive. We have been with Busy Bees West Ealing for nearly 3 years now and never had any issues. When my son is there, I know he is been taken care of! My first son was attending this childcare centre, and now my little one just moved from the baby childcare centre.

October 24, 2024 at 5:47 amVery attentive and really excellent at getting the best out of my kid. Also very supportive with ideas of things/tactics to apply at home when going through challenging phases. Incredible team. Outstanding team of very attentive childcare centre educators.

November 2, 2024 at 12:52 amHer interaction with the other kids has developed very well. The team have been welcoming and welcoming and they greet us with smiles every day.
In terms of improves, I think an online portal to follow your kid’s day will be very supportive and although there will be an initial set up cost the daily input will be faster than maintaining the paper records that are currently used. I look forward to experiencing more of the development work the team at the childcare centre conduct with my daughter as time progresses. The team at Treetops have worked with me to ensure my little girl has settled well into the baby childcare centre and as a result, she seems cheerful on arrival and at the end of each day.

November 13, 2024 at 9:15 pmIt is small and intimate. The building is like a little Brownies hut. It is consistently very spotless and inviting. The manager and team are extremely accommodating and try hard to work around my schedule. They genuinely seem pleased to see my girls each day and really care that they are cheerful.
The only improvements I could suggest is an online option for the girl’s daily report/photos. This would involve more work for the team however and they already do so much. Looking after the kids is and should be their main concern.
The garden could also do with a facelift. Some fake grass and a properly covered area would make a huge difference. I have been extremely cheerful with Treetops so far.

November 27, 2024 at 6:13 amShe started just a few weeks before the first lockdown so has had to settle in twice which we were anxious about but has been nothing but a positive journey for her and for us to see her run in every day for her breakfast and run out smiling at the end of the day, usually with some “artwork”. She has built some excellent relationships with the team and other kids and the community around the childcare centre is excellent to be part of. The way the team have adapted to COVID safety measures has been outstanding and I very quickly felt really cheerful with them being in such close contact with my daughter, not only cheerful but incredibly grateful to them for just getting on with things and bringing normality and joy to our lives. Our daughter is so cheerful and content at Busy Bees which is all down to the incredibly hard work of the team day in day out and the genuine adore they have for the kids and filling their days with enjoyable and development.

December 16, 2024 at 10:01 pmShe has grown into a confident and cheerful kid who is prepared for school. The team are all so incredible. Very dedicated to the well-being of all the kids and work incredibly hard. The team were so supportive during covid and lockdowns. The management work so hard to ensure kids, parents and team are well looked after. The team have got us through tantrums, toilet training and fussy eating! We are so sad to leave such a fantastic team behind to go to school. My daughter has been very cheerful to go to childcare centre every day and wanted to go at the weekends too! So many different activities and even sports day! Mothers and fathers day are both celebrated with lovely gifts and treats for the parents! Christmas time is consistently special with the lengths they go to. The chef is incredible at catering for allergies. We had a number of childcare centre experiences, but Busy Bees, West Ealing, is by far the best journey we have ever had. My daughter has been with Busy Bees, West Ealing since the age of 11 months old.

December 22, 2024 at 9:21 amI was provided with outstanding feedback and a breakdown of how my kid’s day was. I was greeted at the door by two members of team who were very welcoming and reassuring. The presentation was outstanding and I was put at ease straight away. The members of team were very understanding of my needs and lack of expectations. I was free to ring the childcare centre and speak with team about how my kid was progressing throughout the day and this was great for me. When I picked my kid up he was in the middle of a nap and looked extremely content. When he woke, he was in a very great mood, was fed and spotless. I had an overview of how the day went and that was very fulfilling. Would highly suggest this childcare centre in the future. My kid is just over six months old and this was the first time I left him alone at a childcare centre setting.

January 23, 2025 at 7:38 amShe learns a lot here, how to adore, cuddle, eat, read and be compassionate to everything. She is so cheerful to be here and she has lots of friends.
Educators are expert, polite and supportive. They adore my daughter and I can really sense it. Busy Bees helps my daughter grow independently.

January 27, 2025 at 9:39 amWhat I appreciate the most is whenever I’m there to pick him up at the end of the session he’s consistently content, with a cute smile on his face. That’s how I know he has had a great day there with his educators and friends. I am very cheerful and grateful for the team for their patience and detailed observations around the kids. Our son has been with Busy Bees West Ealing for a year now and I can see he enjoys his time there.

January 30, 2025 at 4:19 pmI regularly collect him from the childcare centre and he consistently has so much to say when I pick him up demonstrating what a great job the team are doing in taking care of him helping him learn. The team are welcoming and welcoming and I would suggest the childcare centre to anyone who is looking for a small cosy childcare centre to make the journey of childcare centre unforgettable. My nephew started the childcare centre a few months ago, and I can see the development he has made since starting.

March 2, 2025 at 11:32 amNow, nearly three years later, we are so cheerful that we chose Busy Bees in West Ealing to be her secure and cheerful ‘home-away-from-home. From Day 1, the educators and team have been so inviting and compassionate, and have really created a fantastic setting for the kids to playtime and make friends. Our daughter has grown in self‑assurance and has benefitted from a excellent foundation for the next steps in her education. I have no hesitation in recommending this childcare centre to all. My daughter has been at Busy Bees since before her first birthday in 2018.

March 21, 2025 at 12:47 pmOur little boy (18 months), has been there about 3.5 months and loves it. The team are so inviting and lovely, they are excellent at updating us on what he’s up to (sharing pics of his artwork and him playing etc), they do so many lovely activities with him every day and the food seems delicious too. Would 100% suggest! We went to see lots of nurseries and this one was by far the best and has exceeded expectations.

March 25, 2025 at 10:54 pmShe thrived and was so ready for school. My son started back in November at about 6 months and he has settled in very well. The adore, the care and the assistance from the childcare centre nurses are outstanding. My son has done incredibly well. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sustain the whole year’s full time fees so I think Busy Bees head office should actually consider offering some term time only places. Many single working parents would find it useful. I am heartbroken to move my son as he was so cheerful and settled there. I highly suggest the childcare centre though! My older daughter used to attend Busy Bees West Ealing and she absolutely loved it.

March 31, 2025 at 10:35 pmMy son has grown and developed so much in the 5 months he has been there than he ever has at any other childcare centre. Consistently excited to tell me about his day full of activities and numerous resources, he’s consistently excited to come back. Treetops is an incredible childcare centre, it feels like a family setting.

April 22, 2025 at 12:53 pmIt took him 2 months and loves going to the childcare centre. That’s thanks to the very expert team there. They teach him new things all the time and he is socialising and discovering the language in a excellent way. Everything at Busy Bees West Ealing is of an outstanding level. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive, so that we could afford more than 3 days a week. My son (2 years old) was very stressed at first but is completely settled now.

May 14, 2025 at 8:29 pmOur son has been in the childcare centre since September 2020 when we first come to this country. My son who was still a toddler and had not yet spoken or walked had gradually adapted very well in the centre and learnt a lot from the team who are so attentive and guiding my son through the discovering journey. He can now confidently interact with others in his second language – English, feed himself food, be able to put his trousers and shoes on and off and more and more. It is all because of the dedicated team and managers in Busy Bees. I adore the interactive app from Busy Bees in which the team will keep me updated on my son’s daily activities, photos and discovering stories/assessments. I know he has developed a strong connection with the childcare centre team as well as the other kids and we would definitely keep in touch in the future. It is an outstanding childcare centre for sure! I would like to highly suggest Busy Bee West Ealing Day Centre and Baby Centre to all parents in the neighbourhood.

May 24, 2025 at 6:30 amChoosing the right childcare centre was (of course) incredibly important to us and there are so many options out there. Although Busy Bees was practically the most convenient for us, we were determined that this would not be how we would base our decision. We really wanted our son to sense cheerful and settled and the team are honestly incredible – they make the childcare centre what it is and I can absolutely see why they achieved a great Ofsted rating. Yes, there may be other nurseries which have a more ‘homely’ settings but for us, it’s the engagement and care that each member of team shows which has really made a difference. Our son wasn’t the easiest boy to manage in terms of settling in but the team have been so reassuring and he now loves going.
Thank you to everyone at Busy Bees Baby Childcare centre. The team here are just exceptional.

May 24, 2025 at 6:33 amIt’s difficult to know at the start whether the team, other kids and the facilities are going to be ok for your kid. I can happily say that the team are fantastic. They are compassionate, considerate and attentive. They smile all the time and that’s a excellent sign. The food is great and varied. The building itself looks a little shabby down a dark cut through – however, it’s secure and inside the building it’s really nice, spotless and spacious. There are lots of games, toys and activity areas. Everything is at a high standard of cleanliness. The other kids and parents are all really lovely. We have first hand journey through a close relative that attends a childcare centre several streets away and, despite the other childcare centre being more expensive, the team are definitely not as compassionate and accommodating. The manager and all the team are all outstanding, very compassionate and supportive. Very cheerful. We are really lucky that we chose the Busy Bees at West Ealing over the others in the area.

May 26, 2025 at 6:54 amThe childcare centre practitioners are outstanding, they give great care to my son and his peers. I am reassured that he is in secure hands and that they have his best interests at heart. He runs to childcare centre every day as goes in, that shows that he feels at home when he is in the childcare centre. All the team are outstanding, the activities are incredible and my kid is never bored when he is in the childcare centre. The management team is incredible. Honestly, if I ever have another kid I would bring him to West Ealing Treetops. I am cheerful to say that my kid has made so much development since he joined West Ealing Day Childcare centre.
