Description

The history of Busy Bees begins 41 years ago, with our own search for the right nursery.

We wanted to give our children the best start in life, which to us meant better, more exciting care, stimulating environments, and lots of opportunities for play, interaction and development, at their own pace and in their own space. We couldn't find a nursery that offered everything we wanted. So, we decided to found it ourselves in 1983 and opened The Rocklands in Lichfield, Staffordshire a year later.

In that very first Busy Bees nursery, we created a safe and enriching home-from-home environment filled with opportunities to learn. We recruited passionate staff with boundless enthusiasm for their work and a never-ending commitment to the children. It was a place where children's emotional needs were met, their interests were nurtured, and their individuality was respected, which made it somewhere parents loved too.

I have been extremely happy with Treetops so far. It is small and intimate. The building is like a little Brownies hut. It is always very clean and warm. The manager and staff are extremely accommodating and try hard to work around my schedule. They genuinely seem pleased to see my girls each day and really care that they are happy.

The only improvements I could suggest is an online option for the girl’s daily report/photos. This would involve more work for the staff however and they already do so much. Looking after the children is and should be their main concern.

The garden could also do with a facelift. Some fake grass and a properly covered area would make a huge difference.

The staff at Treetops have worked with me to ensure my little girl has settled well into the baby nursery and as a result, she seems happy on arrival and at the end of each day. Her interaction with the other children has developed very well. The staff have been friendly and welcoming and they greet us with smiles every day.
In terms of improves, I think an online portal to follow your child’s day will be very helpful and although there will be an initial set up cost the daily input will be faster than maintaining the paper records that are currently used. I look forward to experiencing more of the development work the team at the nursery conduct with my daughter as time progresses.

Treetops is an amazing nursery, it feels like a family setting. My son has grown and developed so much in the 5 months he has been there than he ever has at any other nursery. Always excited to tell me about his day full of activities and numerous resources, he’s always excited to come back.

I am happy to say that my child has made so much progress since he joined West Ealing Day Nursery. The nursery practitioners are excellent, they give good care to my son and his peers. I am reassured that he is in safe hands and that they have his best interests at heart. He runs to nursery every day as goes in, that shows that he feels at home when he is in the nursery. All the team are excellent, the activities are amazing and my child is never bored when he is in the nursery. The management team is amazing. Honestly, if I ever have another child I would bring him to West Ealing Treetops.

My nephew started the nursery a few months ago, and I can see the progress he has made since starting. I regularly collect him from the nursery and he always has so much to say when I pick him up demonstrating what a good job the staff are doing in taking care of him helping him learn. The team are friendly and welcoming and I would recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking for a small cosy nursery to make the experience of nursery unforgettable.

Our daughter is so happy and content at Busy Bees which is all down to the incredibly hard work of the team day in day out and the genuine love they have for the children and filling their days with fun and development. She started just a few weeks before the first lockdown so has had to settle in twice which we were anxious about but has been nothing but a positive experience for her and for us to see her run in every day for her breakfast and run out smiling at the end of the day, usually with some “artwork”. She has built some great relationships with the staff and other children and the community around the nursery is great to be part of. The way the team have adapted to COVID safety measures has been excellent and I very quickly felt really happy with them being in such close contact with my daughter, not only happy but incredibly grateful to them for just getting on with things and bringing normality and joy to our lives.

We went to see lots of nurseries and this one was by far the best and has exceeded expectations. Our little boy (18 months), has been there about 3.5 months and loves it. The staff are so warm and lovely, they are great at updating us on what he’s up to (sharing pics of his artwork and him playing etc), they do so many lovely activities with him every day and the food seems delicious too. Would 100% recommend!

We are really lucky that we chose the Busy Bees at West Ealing over the others in the area. It’s difficult to know at the start whether the staff, other children and the facilities are going to be ok for your child. I can happily say that the staff are wonderful. They are kind, considerate and caring. They smile all the time and that’s a great sign. The food is good and varied. The building itself looks a little shabby down a dark cut through – however, it’s safe and inside the building it’s really nice, clean and spacious. There are lots of games, toys and activity areas. Everything is at a high standard of cleanliness. The other children and parents are all really lovely. We have first hand experience through a close relative that attends a nursery several streets away and, despite the other nursery being more expensive, the staff are definitely not as kind and accommodating. The manager and all the staff are all excellent, very kind and helpful. Very happy.

Excellent team of very caring nursery teachers. Very attentive and really great at getting the best out of my child. Also very supportive with ideas of things/tactics to apply at home when going through challenging phases. Amazing team.

I’m extremely pleased with how the nursery operates and the care that it provides for my son.
The staff and I can see that they truly love their job and care for the children.
    Would recommend to anyone.

The staff here are just exceptional. Choosing the right nursery was (of course) incredibly important to us and there are so many options out there. Although Busy Bees was practically the most convenient for us, we were determined that this would not be how we would base our decision. We really wanted our son to feel happy and settled and the staff are honestly amazing – they make the nursery what it is and I can absolutely see why they achieved a good Ofsted rating. Yes, there may be other nurseries which have a more ‘homely’ settings but for us, it’s the engagement and care that each member of staff shows which has really made a difference. Our son wasn’t the easiest boy to manage in terms of settling in but the team have been so reassuring and he now loves going.
Thank you to everyone at Busy Bees Baby Nursery.

My child is just over six months old and this was the first time I left him alone at a nursery setting. I was provided with excellent feedback and a breakdown of how my child’s day was. I was greeted at the door by two members of staff who were very friendly and reassuring. The presentation was excellent and I was put at ease straight away. The members of staff were very understanding of my needs and lack of expectations. I was free to ring the nursery and speak with staff about how my child was progressing throughout the day and this was good for me. When I picked my child up he was in the middle of a nap and looked extremely content. When he woke, he was in a very good mood, was fed and clean. I had an overview of how the day went and that was very fulfilling. Would highly recommend this nursery in the future.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees since before her first birthday in 2018. Now, nearly three years later, we are so happy that we chose Busy Bees in West Ealing to be her safe and happy ‘home-away-from-home. From Day 1, the teachers and team have been so warm and kind, and have really created a wonderful environment for the children to play and make friends. Our daughter has grown in confidence and has benefitted from a great foundation for the next steps in her education. I have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to all.

My first son was attending this nursery, and now my little one just moved from the baby nursery. The transition was smooth, and the staff provided the necessary help for both him and us. He is now feeling more confident and is learning new things every day. Staff and management are doing an amazing job and are always supportive. We have been with Busy Bees West Ealing for nearly 3 years now and never had any issues. When my son is there, I know he is been taken care of!

My daughter has been with Busy Bees, West Ealing since the age of 11 months old. She has grown into a confident and happy child who is prepared for school. The staff are all so amazing. Very dedicated to the well-being of all the children and work incredibly hard. The staff were so supportive during covid and lockdowns. The management work so hard to ensure children, parents and staff are well looked after. The staff have got us through tantrums, toilet training and fussy eating! We are so sad to leave such a wonderful team behind to go to school. My daughter has been very happy to go to nursery every day and wanted to go at the weekends too! So many different activities and even sports day! Mothers and fathers day are both celebrated with lovely gifts and treats for the parents! Christmas time is always special with the lengths they go to. The chef is amazing at catering for allergies. We had a number of nursery experiences, but Busy Bees, West Ealing, is by far the best experience we have ever had.

I would like to highly recommend Busy Bee West Ealing Day Centre and Baby Centre to all parents in the neighbourhood. Our son has been in the nursery since September 2020 when we first come to this country. My son who was still a toddler and had not yet spoken or walked had gradually adapted very well in the centre and learnt a lot from the staff who are so caring and guiding my son through the learning journey. He can now confidently interact with others in his second language – English, feed himself food, be able to put his trousers and shoes on and off and more and more. It is all because of the dedicated staff and managers in Busy Bees. I love the interactive app from Busy Bees in which the staff will keep me updated on my son’s daily activities, photos and learning stories/assessments. I know he has developed a strong connection with the nursery staff as well as the other children and we would definitely keep in touch in the future. It is an outstanding nursery for sure!

My older daughter used to attend Busy Bees West Ealing and she absolutely loved it. She thrived and was so ready for school. My son started back in November at about 6 months and he has settled in very well. The love, the care and the support from the nursery nurses are outstanding. My son has done incredibly well. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sustain the whole year’s full time fees so I think Busy Bees head office should actually consider offering some term time only places. Many single working parents would find it useful. I am heartbroken to move my son as he was so happy and settled there. I highly recommend the nursery though!

Busy Bees helps my daughter grow independently. She learns a lot here, how to love, cuddle, eat, read and be kind to everything. She is so happy to be here and she has lots of friends.
Teachers are professional, polite and helpful. They love my daughter and I can really feel it.

My son (2 years old) was very stressed at first but is completely settled now. It took him 2 months and loves going to the nursery. That’s thanks to the very professional staff there. They teach him new things all the time and he is socialising and learning the language in a great way. Everything at Busy Bees West Ealing is of an outstanding level. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive, so that we could afford more than 3 days a week.

Our son has been with Busy Bees West Ealing for a year now and I can see he enjoys his time there. What I appreciate the most is whenever I’m there to pick him up at the end of the session he’s always content, with a cute smile on his face. That’s how I know he has had a good day there with his teachers and friends. I am very happy and grateful for the staff for their patience and detailed observations around the children.
