Busy Bees Port Hamilton

Great staff, great venue. Staff regularly change the layout of the rooms to stimulate the kids. Different activities such as painting, trips to the museum, balance boards and music classes. My son is always eager to arrive and everyone seems to know his name, he feels very happy there, always eager to give staff hugs.

Our son is so very happy at this nursery. The staff are so friendly and caring! He talks about them all the time. Our son has some additional needs and his primary carer has gone above and beyond investigating his condition and making recommendations around his care. The range of activities is fantastic! He particularly loves ‘enjoy-a-ball’ (his hand/eye co-ordination has massively improved!), caterpillar music and Spanish!

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 1 1/2. She enjoyed every day she attended, often asking to stay instead of going home. The staff are amazing with the kids and also with the parents! I love the fact that all food is cooked on the premises and they get to taste foods that I would never make. My daughter’s confidence has grown so much since attending nursery. She is excellent in groups of other kids and meeting new staff. The nursery has been an amazing experience for her.

What makes Port Hamilton very special, is the staff.
They are very friendly, very special and devoted to each child.
They develop real bonds with the children and parents.

I have used this nursery for the past 5 years for two of my children and the staff have provided a caring happy environment for the children. The new manager is having a proactive impact on the nursery and listening to parents feedback. The nursery is very conveniently located in the CBD (central business dirtrict) which is a bonus for working parents. The onsite chef provides a real variety of food that my children will never eat at home but will at nursery.

Overall, very pleased with the standard of service provided by the nursery. I haven’t had any issues/concerns that can be highlighted here.

I have two children that go to the nursery and am very pleased with the care they receive, the staff that work there, the managers and facilities. I found the staff are very caring towards my kids and similarly my kids enjoy the interaction they get from staff members. They always give detailed updates on their morning activities when I have asked for it. The space available to the kids inside and out is spacious particularly for a city centre-based nursery. The snacks and meals are varied and the kids seem to enjoy, that coming from the mum of very fussy eaters. I would recommend this nursery to others.

My son has been in Busy Bee’s Port Hamilton since he was 10 months old. He has grown up with his wee friends and has become extremely close to his teachers who he classes as part of his family. My son is now nearly 5 years old and he’s learned so much from his time at Busy Bee’s ranging from behavior, morals, problem-solving, educational activities, playing and most of all empathy, being considerate and compassionate. I truly believe my son has had the best possible start in life and he has turned into such a wee gent, he is a credit to us all and Busy Bee’s has helped him accomplish his goals, and ours. Words cannot thank the staff enough for everything they do, above and beyond their roles and duties.

The staff and management team are fantastic and supported us during a recent family bereavement. My daughter loves attending the nursery and enjoys all the activities. My son has recently started at the nursery and the staff have been amazing during the settling in process. I can already see a big difference in his development since attending. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son (2.5 years old) loves his time at the nursery, and usually runs in without saying bye! He gets good interaction with the staff, who have been so helpful in his development, for example with potty training and social interactions like sharing. As others have mentioned, the outdoor space and activities available are great for small children needing to burn off energy! The Parentzone app used to share what’s happening throughout the day with parents is useful, sharing info around meals, naps and activities. Management have been great, and extra days are often able to be accommodated.
