September 12, 2024 at 4:11 amI found the team are very attentive towards my kids and similarly my kids delight in the interaction they get from team members. They consistently give detailed updates on their morning activities when I have asked for it. The space available to the kids inside and out is spacious particularly for a city centre-based childcare centre. The snacks and meals are varied and the kids seem to delight in, that coming from the mum of very fussy eaters. I would suggest this childcare centre to others. I have two kids that go to the childcare centre and am very pleased with the care they receive, the team that work there, the managers and facilities.

September 28, 2024 at 11:08 amThe team are genuine, and the activities are fresh and regularly updated. The opening time at 7.30 am means we can get to work, as opposed to most nurseries in this area which open at 8 am. I sense we have open lines of contact, and we can access information when we want to. There has been quite a high team turnover, but this seems to be consistent with the sector generally. They also have an onsite chef, which is excellent, so obviously the food is balanced and healthy. I would happily suggest this childcare centre. We’ve been pleased with Busy Bees.

December 27, 2024 at 12:27 pmHe gets great interaction with the team, who have been so supportive in his development, for example with potty training and social interactions like sharing. As others have mentioned, the outdoor space and activities available are excellent for small kids needing to burn off energy! The Parentzone app used to share what’s happening throughout the day with parents is useful, sharing info around meals, naps and activities. Management have been excellent, and extra days are often able to be accommodated. My son (2.5 years old) loves his time at the childcare centre, and usually runs in without saying bye!

January 2, 2025 at 10:13 pmThe new manager is having a proactive impact on the childcare centre and listening to parents feedback. The childcare centre is very conveniently located in the CBD (central business dirtrict) which is a bonus for working parents. The onsite chef provides a real variety of food that my kids will never eat at home but will at childcare centre. I have used this childcare centre for the past 5 years for two of my kids and the team have provided a attentive cheerful setting for the kids.

January 14, 2025 at 5:48 pmAll of the team are excellent, welcoming, compassionate and really enthusiastic. The food and menus are excellent and have a really great variety, it’s really encouraged my son to try a lot of different things. The garden is fab and my son loved playing outside. We are sad to be leaving and will miss our time at Busy Bees Port Hamilton. My son has really enjoyed his time at childcare centre and has grown so much since starting.

January 16, 2025 at 7:30 amSince the new manager joined she transformed the place completely and made it a second home for all kids. New toys, new layout, completely new setting. This is the place I would like to see when I first joined. Very supportive members of team and also excellent meal plan. My son and the rest of the kids adore it and I will definitely send my second kid there if there is a need for it. My son started the childcare centre in 2014 and it wasn’t the same place.

February 15, 2025 at 5:19 pmThe team made them and ourselves, as the parents, sense very positive about it even though it was difficult for us seeing our little one so upset. They quickly settled back thanks to the care and distraction the team provided. Thank you for all your journey and understanding. Our little one moved from the Babies room to the Tweenies just before the festive holidays so was very upset when they returned after the holidays.

March 25, 2025 at 10:20 amShe enjoyed every day she attended, often asking to stay instead of going home. The team are incredible with the kids and also with the parents! I adore the fact that all food is cooked on the premises and they get to taste foods that I would never make. My daughter’s self‑assurance has grown so much since attending childcare centre. She is outstanding in groups of other kids and meeting new team. The childcare centre has been an incredible journey for her. My daughter has been at this childcare centre since she was 1 1/2.

Our son has some additional needs and his primary carer has gone above and beyond investigating his condition and making recommendations around his care. The range of activities is remarkable! He particularly loves ‘delight in-a-ball’ (his hand/eye co-ordination has massively improved!), caterpillar music and Spanish! Our son is so very cheerful at this childcare centre.

My son has recently started at the childcare centre and the team have been incredible during the settling in process. I can already see a big difference in his development since attending. Would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. The team and management team are remarkable and supported us during a recent family bereavement.

June 2, 2025 at 5:55 pmOver the last 9 months, in particular, there has been a lot of new up beat members of team who have greatly added to the existing team. The new larger toddler/pre-school room and its new facilities have also made a excellent improvement and my daughter can’t wait to get to childcare centre now (which hasn’t consistently been the case). The team are very welcoming and easy to talk to and consistently give the kids a inviting welcome when they arrive. We have liked the childcare centre for a long time.

June 6, 2025 at 8:53 pmStaff regularly change the layout of the rooms to stimulate the kids. Different activities such as painting, trips to the museum, balance boards and music classes. My son is consistently eager to arrive and everyone seems to know his name, he feels very cheerful there, consistently eager to give team hugs. Great team, excellent venue.

My son is now nearly 5 years old and he’s learned so much from his time at Busy Bee’s ranging from behavior, morals, problem-solving, educational activities, playing and most of all empathy, being considerate and compassionate. I truly believe my son has had the best possible start in life and he has turned into such a wee gent, he is a credit to us all and Busy Bee’s has helped him accomplish his goals, and ours. Words cannot thank the team enough for everything they do, above and beyond their roles and duties. My son has been in Busy Bee’s Port Hamilton since he was 10 months old.
