Busy Bees Norwich Meridian

My son started at the nursery aged 9 months, and despite my initial worries at leaving him, I have never looked back (he is now 3!).
The nursery has such a homely feel with the security of a school setting. All the staff are friendly and are genuinely invested in the children. Never once have we felt the staff are there just because they are paid.
Food is outstanding and cooked from scratch on a daily basis in the onsite kitchen, which is rare for a nursery setting, the nursery is clean inside and out and the facilities on offer for the kids are second to none. My son will continue to thrive at Busy Bees until he starts school. I have recommended the nursery to several friends and will continue to do so – even when my boy starts school, as we really couldn’t have hoped for a better nursery, which is made even better by the staff and love in it!

Busy Bees Meridian is a lovely nursery with dedicated, caring staff who work hard to make everyone feel welcome and involved. My eldest daughter was a Busy Bee and now my youngest is thoroughly enjoying her time at nursery. The range of activities and the strong relationships she has built since returning to the nursery after the Covid lockdown show how hard the team have worked over this year to keep the children happy and safe.

My son has attended Busy Bees at Norwich Meridian since being a year old. Throughout his time the care approach to development and communication has been outstanding. Every effort is made to tailor learning to his interests, to develop his next steps and engage parents in the whole process. The staff are dedicated, passionate and kind, they are always prepared to discuss any worries and use information from home to inform learning. The app has improved this engagement and the daily updates light up my day. I can’t thank the staff enough, throughout what has been an incredibly challenging year, their diligence, communication and care has never been compromised. We are very grateful to be part of this nursery community.

Since starting in the baby room at 8 months old, our daughter has thrived at Busy Bees Meridian. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and the nursery-home communication is excellent, whether it be in person, over the phone, via the app or through emails. Our daughter settled incredibly quickly and as first-time parents, we felt well supported through this process. Our little girl literally squeals with excitement when we pull up outside and runs in without a second thought for us! She always has a huge smile on her face at the end of the day too, babbling happily all the way home. Her development continues at an accelerated pace, thanks to an engaging, varied curriculum and tailored support from the nurturing staff team. We are so glad we chose this nursery and continue to recommend it to anyone who’ll listen!

Our child has attended the nursery since September 2020. All age rooms (baby, tweenies and 2-3 year olds), have been enjoyable, with good feedback and information from his key workers, staff and the office. Our child suffers from severe food allergies, which can cause significant concern when we are not in a controlled environment (home). However, the nursery has been fantastic at requesting and updating our child’s care plan and instigating process change to mealtimes, to further reduce potential allergy contamination. This was hugely appreciated and completely unexpected, given that nursery meal routines were changed to accommodate our child.

Busy Bees, Norwich Meridian has been absolutely fantastic. My daughter has attended since she was 9 months old and she is now almost 4. She’s made amazing friends, has loved all of the staff and key workers and she gets so excited to go!

Despite not having been able to enter the nursery since our son started almost 2 years ago, in view of covid regulations, he has settled extremely well and has built good relationships with staff and peers. We have found the communication very good, both via the app and in person and really like that nursery activities are tailored to the children’s home interests.

My child has been going to Busy Bees for just over a year now and she loves it. Always talking about Busy Bees, always asking for the staff, which to me means she absolutely loves everyone there. Drop off and collections have been managed very well throughout covid and all staff have been very informative. The food throughout the day, weeks are so varied, so a great balanced diet. Activities are great, and what I love, is they will always encourage outdoor activities as long as the child is dressed correctly for the weather. The app that they use is simple and easy to use. Tells you what you need to know. All in all, I cannot recommend them enough.

Both our kids have spent their nursery years at Busy Bees and both have thrived. The staff are very friendly, professional and create great bonds with the children. My son is a picky eater, but eats really well here and is always keen to see what’s on the menu. He loves the outdoor area and the feedback from the app, shows he is occupied and engaged.

From day one our daughter has always been made to feel settled and cared for. The free unlimited settling in sessions were so worthwhile and she has transitioned from her old nursery to Meridian Busy Bees without any problems. I would highly recommend Meridian Busy Bees to anyone new to a nursery or transitioning from another.
