LEYF is a family of 40 nurseries across London. We are a charitable social enterprise employing over 800 staff across London. Our socially inclusive approach ensures we make a real difference to the lives of 4,000 children and their families every year, helping them to develop a passion for learning, regardless of their background.
Experiences in early childhood shape lives and are often the root cause of today’s hardest social challenges, such as addiction, poor mental health and homelessness.

May 25, 2021 at 12:00 amI wanted to praise the staff at the nursery for looking after my 2-year-old son so well. This is an employer led nursery and because I am leaving to take on a new role, sadly this means my son has to leave the nursery. He is so excited each day to attend nursery; he gets frustrated if we don’t get his coat on and out the door quick enough! He has thrived at the nursery and I don’t recall a day where he has ever not wanted to go or wanted to leave the nursery at the end of the day! He is kept occupied by lots of activities each day and the gardens outside. The food he is served at the nursery is healthy with lots of variety – more so than at home (I’m ashamed to say). All in all, I am sorry to have to remove my son and want to thank LEFY for the way they have managed Bushytails.

August 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy baby absolutely loves it at Bushy Tails Nursery & Pre-School and I feel confident he is well looked after while in their care. The chef takes time to make separate meals for him since we are still weaning him and the parent’s app lets me keep track of his meals, sleeps, etc, throughout the day.

August 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son attended this Bushy Tails Nursery & Pre-School from the age of 7 months until starting school aged 4. My daughter is currently attending the nursery and has been since she was 10 months old. I am yet to find anything about Bushy Tails to criticize. My son adored every single member of staff during his time there. The level of care and encouragement to learn I would say is exceptional. The children get to carry out a wide range of activities (including outings) and the food menu is brilliant, providing the children with a wide variety of healthy food which I believe encourages them to become less ‘picky’. The staff are polite and any queries I’ve had have been responded to swiftly. I believe this nursery provides the kids with a great start in life.

August 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy second child is now at the nursery and I know he is safe, well looked after and busy with an array of fun and stimulating activities. The staff seem nurturing, patient and caring and the children are happy. I particularly love that the children are encouraged to help do baking and doing bits of gardening. My son loves all the artwork they do and there are lots of toys and books.

He loves his days at nursery, especially messy play and spending time in the garden. He has strong relationships with his key worker and the other teachers and I feel happy that he is well cared for at Bushy Tails Nursery & Pre-School. I also second the comment about the menus, he eats significantly better than I do most days.

August 15, 2022 at 12:00 amThis nursery is just great! So pleased both my children go there. My children love the staff as much as their own family members. Such caring staff members. I find the feedback at each pick up so informative, you can see the staff have taken a great interest in what the children are doing. I can’t recommend it enough! I get very emotional sometimes thinking how great this nursery is and the care they are given is outstanding!

August 24, 2022 at 12:00 amThe level of teaching at nursery is excellent. All teachers are fantastic and they really go the extra mile to provide the best service. My boy is very happy coming into the nursery and I am confident that he is being well looked after. The nursery settings are great with loads of outdoor space near the big park. I highly value that Bushy Tails is a green nursery, teaching children how to recycle, reuse and regrow. Children are involved in a lot of activities, contributing to looking after their classroom and gardens. The food is healthy and has a wide variety. My boy learnt to eat all different types of food i.e. olives, rhubarb which is not a usual children’s favourite foods, but this has taught him to make healthy choices in future. 5 stars for overall experience.

April 6, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son went to this nursery for 3 years. He loved his experience there, surrounded by caring and loving staff. Now my daughter is in the toddler class and she is enjoying it. They play a lot outside, in one of the three gardens. They also do a lot of stimulating activities to develop her fine and gross motor skills and she loves it. The staff are amazing, always focus on the development and the wellbeing of my child. I truly recommend this nursery. I find the communication easy with her key person but also with the great nursery manager.

April 8, 2023 at 12:00 amOur one-year-old daughter attends Bushy Tails Nursery & Pre-School and absolutely loves it. Being a dad that works away a lot, I had some time off lately which allowed me to do the drop off for a couple of weeks. The staff looking after her are incredibly lovely, and I have full confidence in them when leaving our little one there in the morning. The baby room team have been amazing at helping her settle in and she adores her key worker. There is lots of learning activities through play and we couldn’t have chosen a better nursery. A big thank you to all the team.
