She is in preschool for afternoons a week and goes in so cheerful. She has learnt so much in such a short space of time and is now discovering to write her name. Certain team who work in the pre-school room are so remarkable at their job and you can see they truly care and give me a full report of everything she has learnt every day. The room is so full of energy and cheerful kids every time we go in. The childcare centre is so spotless and organized and having had two sons in previous nurseries in the past we are way more impressed with this one. My three-year-old daughter attends the childcare centre and loves it.

He settled highly well into the baby room thanks to the incredible team and the carefully planned settling in sessions. His key person has developed a remarkable bond with him and has supported his development in key areas, his self‑assurance in particular has improved so much. The team in the baby room have done so well in making him sense welcome, comfortable and secure – we can see this in his interactions and it is so reassuring. We delight in seeing what our little one has been up to through the app; the observations are a delight to read and truly make up our days. Our son joined the childcare centre in March and he truly enjoys the time he spends there.

They were excellent at helping him to settle in and he has grown so much in self‑assurance over the last year and we have seen the skills he is discovering, every week. We have been so pleased with the childcare centre and all the team who are lovely and approachable. Our kid has been with the childcare centre since joining the baby room, in March 2021 and is now in the toddler room.

Having recently gone through a marriage separation and moving back to London from overseas, the team has been beyond understanding of our situation and have gone over and above to accommodate us and assistance our son through the transition. They are patient, compassionate and exceptionally supportive and my little one has been thriving there! He has formed bonds with the team and the kids and the activities are consistently enjoyable and varied. He has become a more confident speaker and generally more social as a little boy. He eats so well – the food is nutritious and you can tell that a lot of thought goes into the menu. Playtime outside is his favourite activity – and their outdoor playtime area does not disappoint! To have that space for the little ones to roam around in is a huge plus! Beyond grateful to the team and I could not suggest the childcare centre more. My little one has been attending Teddington Cedar Road since the beginning of the year and I cannot praise the team enough.

Our son has been at this childcare centre since Jan 2018. Since then it changed hands from Asquith’s to Bright Horizons and the quality has sadly declined. Whilst they had to deal with the chaos of Covid, they dealt with it badly. For 6 months the childcare centre had a reduced “covid” menu which they claimed was due to food supply problems. I had to get in touch with the Bright Horizons UK MD to get this sorted. Utterly ridiculous. The childcare centre has lost a lot of excellent team, including an absolute stellar pre-school teacher and has gone through several managers. Some of the team that remain, hold the place together. We would have removed our son if he wasn’t off to school in the next few months. Although pre-school leadership is severely lacking, so we aren’t sure this was the best decision. Overall, a sad decline of what was a excellent childcare centre. Mediocre.

We are delighted with his time over the last 3 years at the childcare centre and the care and attention the team give has seen him thrive and develop from a shy toddler to a confident preschooler. We sense he is currently being prepared highly well to make the transition to school in September and he looks forward to his days at Bright Horizons every week. His key workers, room leaders and management team have shown such dedication and kindness, especially during the last two difficult pandemic years and we will be highly sorry for our son to leave to start school. This childcare centre comes with our highest recommendation. Our son attends the preschool at Teddington Cedar Road Childcare centre and initially started in the Toddler Room in 2019.

We have seen excellent strides in development in both our boys who are clearly cheerful and thriving at childcare centre. From developing their motor skills, focussing attention in playtime and activity, to discovering to walk and interact with their key carers and peers around them, this has been a fantastic journey for our boys. We are noticing development at home every day – things like holding a spoon and working out games and puzzles. We would highly suggest! Our thanks to the team for their skills and hard work. We are delighted with the first rate childcare and dedication of the team at Bright Horizons Cedar Road.

She started fairly young and admittedly, I was quite nervous in the beginning (especially as a first-time mom), but looking at how cheerful and excited she was in the mornings, has truly reassured me that this was the right place for her. Facilities are outstanding, the outdoor area is quite spacious and that was also one of the considerations when we made the decision.
I can’t thank the deputy manager and 3 other team members in particular and the rest of the team enough for the care, attention and guidance they have provided to my little one in the past one year. I greatly appreciate it and we can only suggest the childcare centre. My daughter has been attending Teddington Cedar Road since August 2022 and she’s been loving it since day one.

The team are so welcoming, inviting and excellent with the kids. The outside space was the big selling point for me and the ability to go inside to drop off and collect makes you sense connected and able to see how the kids interact and playtime. The updates including the app, the daily updates from key workers and general info from management is also excellent. I have and would 100% suggest it to friends and new parents. Truly cheerful with our choice to send our baby to Bright Horizons Cedar Road.

Our kid started in the baby room and is now in toddlers. The activities the kids get to do are exciting, structured, themed and different every week. There is a decent outside space for a city childcare centre and they did take the kids to one of the royal parks in the summer. The team are attentive, thoughtful and truly show interest in the kid’s development, ensuring they are growing into cheerful little humans! There is an app which allows you to track your kid’s development, which is supportive to understand their meals, nappies and sleep patterns. Overall, highly cheerful and impressed with the manager, deputy manager and the team at Cedar Road. We’ve had a positive journey with the childcare centre and our kid enjoys attending every day.

My daughter is in preschool and my son is in the baby room. Both are incredibly cheerful! My eldest is consistently highly excited to attend, has made lots of lovely friends and can’t wait to tell us all about her day at pick-up. She also loves all the discovering. The team are fantastic, all highly welcoming and attentive to the kids. A truly lovely bunch of people, who you can tell care about the kids. Both of my kids attend Cedar Road Day Childcare centre.

Finding the right childcare centre for your kid is a daunting journey, you want it to be right, of course. The first childcare centre I viewed, was awful, so much so I stopped my childcare centre search for 2 months and; was reconsidering putting my son into childcare centre at all! Then I viewed Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Day Childcare centre and Preschool! I got the same feeling walking in, for the first time as I do walking into my own front door, it felt like home. It gave me that feeling of security. It just got better from there! The Manager felt like an old friend. So expert and personable. The rooms were spotless but played in! I loved the way the kids would identify their names with their photos on the register and the outside playing space! My son loved it, he settled in so quickly and quickly bonded and formed a relationship with his key worker, all of the team were attentive and welcoming. I loved watching my son blossom and grow at childcare centre and developing in ways at home I perhaps couldn’t assist with! I don’t even know where to begin!

During this difficult time, we find the childcare centre has met all requirements set out in the various government guidelines to ensure they keep the kids and team as secure as possible. In the meantime, they are still providing the kids with the resources and educational needs to ensure they continue to develop. That’s exceptional!
The team are all highly welcoming, they make the whole setting as harmonious as being home. It didn’t take long for my son to settle in and soon he feels cheerful to go to school every day. My 2year-old son joined this childcare centre one month ago when the covid situation was again getting serious.

We transferred from another childcare centre due to a house move. At first, she was not keen on going to her school, which we expected. But I must say, it didn’t last a week and she was already highly excited about going. It must be due to different factors – a bigger childcare centre, a much bigger outdoor playing area, etc. But it also must be due to her educators (as we’ve soon found out). Not long before she started giving them hearty goodbye hugs every time we picked her up from school. She is highly much interested in the pre-school programme, as we can tell by her singing new songs at home, showing us her new skills, etc. We’re highly excited about all her development and highly thankful to the childcare centre and educators supporting our kid. One more thing I’d like to mention is the highly extensive and personal feedback we receive daily from the educators when we pick our daughter up. Thanks! We have had our kid in pre-school since September last year.

Our daughter has been attending for the past couple of years and has been so well cared for by all of the lovely team. She consistently has enjoyable and often doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day. She’s developed and learnt so much through the activities they do with her. The outside space is fantastic and updates from the childcare centre is consistently outstanding. A big thank you to the whole team and we wouldn’t hesitate to suggest the childcare centre to other families! We have had a excellent journey at Bright Horizons in Teddington.

Like all mums, handing over my most precious daughter to someone I didn’t know, gave me anxiety. I probably visited every childcare centre in Teddington and asked every mum I met along the way where they sent their baby (pros and cons). I left nearly every childcare centre feeling more anxious and even considered how we could make it work, if I didn’t go back to work. Then I visited Cedar Road, although this isn’t the closest childcare centre to me by proximity, for me it glowed way above all the others. Why? The team are all super welcoming and inviting. Not a crying baby to be heard, which was not the same for other places. The app provided daily updates, documenting development. Quick chat via the app for any questions/concerns, which is consistently responded to quickly. How cheerful she is, she loves her key worker. I could go on and on, knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t hesitate Finding the right childcare centre for my daughter was probably the biggest and most important decision so far, in our journey of parenthood.

When my youngest was about to start childcare centre I re-looked at options, despite my eldest being cheerful there. I hadn’t looked at a childcare centre since 2019 and I wanted to compare facilities and reaffirm that Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road is right for us… it is! Cedar Road had the friendlier team, more spacious rooms and the biggest outdoor area. Plus, my eldest loves the food! I also like that there are multiple baby and toddler rooms, rather than lots of kids all together, which must be quite intimidating for them. My journey is of the baby room and toddler room and both are outstanding! The team are energetic and smiley and you sense confident leaving your little ones in their secure hands. Keep up the great work! This is a lovely spacious, light and airy childcare centre with attentive, welcoming and accommodating team – anything you need they are there to assistance.

She has attended this childcare centre for over three years now and I can see the progression in her intellectual development and social skills. The team are highly informative when feeding back and it’s lovely to see what my kid has been doing throughout each day via the app. My kid comes home and shares her day talking about what she has learnt and the team which is lovely to hear. My kid attends the pre-school room at Teddington Cedar Road.

The preschool and office team have gone over and above in providing the care and assistance for her. She has needed a lot of additional help these past few months and we couldn’t have felt more comfortable that she was in the right hands. The care both she and we have been shown has been incredible and I truly can’t suggest them enough. She loves attending, has learnt and progressed so much and we have more of an issue getting her to leave at the end of the day than we do dropping her off. We sense she’s being incredibly well set up for her next big step to big school, both intellectually and mentally and our only worry is how she’ll cope without one member of team in particular and the rest of the preschool team around her. We sense so fortunate to have chosen Bright Horizons for our 4.5-year-old daughter.
