Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool

Understandably we were both anxious, especially not being able to view the childcare centre prior to starting. However, we were put at ease so quickly, the management team kept in touch to ensure all questions were answered and all worries were put to bed straight away. Our kid was allocated a key person before they even entered the childcare centre and they phoned prior to our kid starting to make sure everything was okay and to find out everything there was to know about our little one. On arrival on our first day, we were greeted quickly and felt reassured, we were given leaflets all about the room our kid was in and we were called around two hours after dropping off to tell us what a great time our kid had. Updates has been incredible from registering until now which has really helped us get to know everyone and sense that our kid is secure. Joining a childcare centre during a pandemic was never an easy decision, but both of us being key workers, we weren’t left with much choice.

My daughter who is now 3-years-old has been attending the childcare centre since she was 1, and has gradually worked her way through the various character rooms. I’m usually not one for writing reviews, but I have to share how marvellous all the team have been during this COVID pandemic. They have reassured parents since the beginning and continue to do so, keeping us up to date and in a timely manner. I hope they all get to have some well-earned rest over the festive holidays, as they all truly deserve it. I’ve chosen to remove my daughter from childcare centre next week, but this is a precaution on my side and by no means necessary, but hopefully will contribute to team getting some rest. My daughter loves going to childcare centre, and we have managed to increase the hours she attends next year, she even has a couple of friends there now. We are hoping, at my daughters request to have a tea party with her friends once this COVID situation is over! What would I do without Bright Horizons Swanscombe!

It’s so hard to begin with as you are trusting someone with the most precious thing in the world, but they make it so easy. Made us sense so comfortable. My daughter’s key worker really is the loveliest person, my little girl really adores her. Really pleased with it all. Really secure too, which is another factor out of the thousands, that I adore about this place. Incredible childcare centre.

They have been supportive and understanding. My daughter adores her keyworker and many of the other team, which for a parent, is very comforting. I don’t sense any worry sending her to the childcare centre, because when she first started, I would worry because she’s my only kid and it was my first time sending her to the childcare centre, and she settled in quickly and loves going to childcare centre. And she can’t wait to start school, and it’s all thanks to the childcare centre and team. Thank you. The childcare centre is very supportive and will do what they can to help you out, they’re consistently there if you need to talk or ask questions.

They consistently make time to communicate with me and keep me informed about my daughter’s development/activities and offer guidance on how I can continue her development at home.
The childcare centre school itself is a fantastic setting, with bright and stimulating classrooms, outdoor playtime area, and a variety of toys and equipment. As parent, it gives me excellent peace of mind knowing that my kid is in such a secure and inviting setting.
Every day, she comes home with a smile on her face and new skills to show off, from sensory exploration to social interaction.
I am particularly grateful for the individual attention, taking the time to understand her needs and interests and tailoring their approach accordingly. It’s clear that they genuinely care about her.
Overall, I cannot suggest this childcare centre school and its team highly enough and I sense so lucky to have found such an incredible setting for my daughter. I am impressed with the level of professionalism/expertise demonstrated by the educators.

He is nearly three now and loves coming in!
Every key worker he had, has given him lots of attention and helped him become a confident boy he is today.
I can’t thank everyone enough for being so inviting and loving towards him. The team is currently helping him with potty training and I can’t be happier with the results! They’re superstars!
Management is consistently cheerful and available.
Working their way through pandemic with extra care and understanding, consistently cheerful to answer questions and keeping me up to date with everything that’s going on within the childcare centre.
I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone who is looking for a place.
Thank you, Swanscombe! You’re like a second family to my son! My son has attended this childcare centre since he was 9 months old.

Despite all the risks in the current climate, the childcare centre has done everything to remain open and look after our daughter so we could continue working. Our daughter has developed so much due to the varied activities she does every day. I like the diary that documents her day as we are assured that she is well cared for, trying new foods and she consistently comes home with paintings and photos. We are thankful for the team courtesy calls whenever she has a fall or a little accident which is rare.
The educators are consistently cheerful and give really detailed handovers. We cannot be more thankful! We are very appreciative of the care and professionalism that the team has.

We were invited to attend events such as Mother’s Day craft afternoon even though my baby hadn’t started yet. As a first-time mum with a young baby I was extremely anxious about her starting the childcare centre, but the team in baby care have put my worries at ease and made me sense so comfortable leaving her with them. A family book with all my daughter’s family photos was made ready for her to start, she had her own peg before she started so from day one she had a sense of belonging.
I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre more if I tried! I have been truly blown away with the care for my kid. The childcare centre administrator has been quick to answer questions and is consistently smiley and welcoming.
My daughter has a dairy allergy which fills me with dread, but the childcare centre has bent over backwards to ensure her needs are met. Incredible! From the moment my baby was registered at the childcare centre they have been incredible – from keeping in touch calls/emails to arranging settle-in sessions, updates has been incredible.

I cannot praise them enough, they have a excellent app and their updates is very effective. I never worry when my son is in their care and I think that all that matters is my son is thriving and I couldn’t be more happier. Bright Horizons are an incredible childcare centre and have helped my son really come along, hitting his milestones and have been very supportive of me, as my son was a covid baby!

They look after him like he’s their own. The manager and deputy manager are incredible, and they go above and beyond to make sure my son is developing and discovering to reach his potential.
My son has special needs, and the lengths and breadths they have gone to ensure his inclusion has been incredible, some of the strategies and ideas they have had have just been so creative and intuitive consistently putting the needs of my son first.
I would highly suggest this childcare centre not only for its fantastic team but for the above and beyond effort and approach they don’t have to do but so kindly give in abundance.
The manager is especially a credit to the company, she has sacrificed personal days to be able to attend meetings about my son and consistently delivered on paperwork and reports that have been needed. and for that, I am so grateful.
I’m a very thankful and lucky mummy. Bright Horizons has just been the most incredible childcare centre/pre-school for my son.
