Bright Horizons Southam Day Nursery and Preschool

I went and saw Bright Horizons in January 2022 when my little boy was 3 months old, and immediately I loved what I saw! After registering and being told it would be January 2023, I started to count down the days. I had to enrol my boy into a childminder from September 2023 until he started Bright Horizons. The journey of the childminder was rough and it traumatised my boy so much that he stopped eating and wouldn’t leave my side. One day I had a call from Bright Horizons and they had an opening for him to start in November 2022! I was ecstatic! In tears, I said yes please and welcomed the day I could meet all the lovely team again.
From day one, the whole team made me feel safe and I began to feel comfortable leaving him. They worked with me and my boy to help us both settle; fast forward 2 months, he is happy, loves going and eats! Trusting the wonderful team is what makes Bright Horizons so perfect for your little one, they can’t do enough for your little person and love them making them feel special! Thank you Bright Horizons – we love you!

My youngest child has struggled with separation anxiety since returning to nursery after Christmas, but all the staff have been really helpful and good at comforting him (and me) to help him settle. They always get out activities that he asks for to ensure his time at the nursery is an enjoyable one, and every time I pick him up, he has a big smile on his face and tells me what a good day he’s had playing. Also, my daughter was very shy and nervous when she started nursery, and they did a fantastic job of helping my daughter to gain confidence and preparing her for school, which made the transition from nursery to school a smooth one.

Cannot fault the nursery. The staff are absolutely wonderful, with regular updates and a noticeable bond formed with the children. Activities and food are well suited to the age groups. Every pickup is usually detailed and informative, relaying the daily activities of the child. Facilities seem well suited and the grounds are recently renovated making for an enjoyable outdoor space.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The care and opportunities provided for the children are outstanding. The food provided for the children is great too. My daughter has only been at the nursery since October but she has come on in leaps and bounds with her development. I couldn’t recommend this childcare setting highly enough. A 5 * nursery from us. Fantastic nursery with hard-working, dedicated carers. I’ve always felt very comfortable dropping my children off each morning, and they always come out with big smiles and glowing reports of what they have done, learnt, and eaten!
There are plenty of opportunities for the children to lead their own play and develop their interests.
The nursery has done a great job of creating a new outside space – my daughter loves it!

Amazing nursery with friendly, consistent staff.
My son is happy here, and I’ve seen him excel since he attended.
They update us daily on the activities the children are doing and also have time to talk to us at the end of each day.

My little boy loves going to nursery. The regular updates on the app help us feel reassured. Love getting photos of some of the activities he’s been doing. It’s always easy to contact the nursery when needed.

I have been using the nursery for the past 7 years for both my children and they have honestly become like extended family. They are always so caring and lovely to deal with and put so much effort into the children’s happiness and education. Both girls have always loved attending and we will all be very sad when the youngest goes off to school and we have to leave. The facilities are brilliant and I’m always very impressed with the activities they do and the meals that are served. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery.

Wonderful nursery with amazing staff who provide a caring maternal welcome each morning. They have never not got a smile on their face and make drop offs and pick ups really pleasant. Nothing is too much and they provide excellent care in a well-nurturing environment. The routine and meals are well structured and the manger is always on hand to talk to and message throughout the day. I’ve used the nursery for my three children from 2013 – present and I wouldn’t send them anywhere else. They really do help little ones grow and go above and beyond for every child’s individual needs.
