Bliss Childcare and Nursery School

Since day 1, he has just had a fantastic time. He is consistently excited to see his key worker who he has a lovely bond with and gets up to a variety of stimulating activities every day. He often comes home and shows us new words or actions he has learned so the discovering is clearly engaging for him. He highly much enjoys the varied menu too. We’ve been truly impressed with Bliss’s handling of the covid pandemic, they acted quickly and decisively so parents knew where they stood at all times and gave regular clear updates, which has been highly reassuring. Overall, from the start I’ve felt confident and reassured that my kid is in the best hands and wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Bliss to anyone. Our now 18 months old son joined Bliss just after it opened in October 2019.

There is no noticeable team turnover – I come in every day and see the same people and my kids have had the same carers for a while. The team all seem highly welcoming and attentive and they have a lovely chef preparing home-cooked food. My kids have learnt a lot, they are independent and curious and have even started saying the odd word in Mandarin!
They also make a big effort with the parents – recently for Mother’s day, the mothers were invited to come to the childcare centre for afternoon prosecco and cakes.
Their recent Ofsted inspection was also a success and recognised how much they have improved in the past year. They are a excellent childcare centre and that should be recognised. I have two kids who attend Bliss and I am highly cheerful with the childcare centre and more importantly, my kids are.

On her days off, we walk past and she waves and kicks her legs. All the team are exceptional, highly attentive and welcoming and I know she is well looked after. They’re consistently up to different activities (painting, playing with sand, crafting, water playtime, park visits) and she regularly starts singing songs I didn’t know she knew so they must do plenty of singing there too. I’ve never seen their lunch/tea etc but they have a wide variety of healthy meals based on their menu and her carers consistently report that she eats it all (99% of the time) so they must be pretty tasty. Team are consistently cheerful to answer any questions I have or implement any changes I’d like (e.g. nap timings etc). Highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone looking. My 19-month-old daughter has been in the baby room for 7 months and absolutely loves it.

She has the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities including tennis and recently Mandarin lessons, but most importantly she is cheerful and excited to attend the childcare centre and loves the team and other kids. Like many nurseries over the last 2 years (and I understand this is common in London) there were several team and management changes in 2022 which led to some disruption but luckily the team that looked after my daughter has been broadly the same and I have been impressed with the new manager who took over in early 2023. Keep it up Bliss and thank you team for looking after our daughter so well! Our daughter has attended Bliss Childcare and Childcare centre School since she was 9 months old and we have had a positive journey of the childcare centre.

It became dire over the summer 2022 and was in a truly bad place. Since then with strong leadership and assistance the team have pulled it from zero to hero. It is a different place. We have gone from worrying whether to send our kids there to loving sending our kids there. The team are so much happier and the procedures they have put in place for safety and security of the kids have been clear. They have an in-house chef who cooks the meals, varied weekly classes including yoga, teddy tennis and music. They have even started Mandarin lessons. They take the kids out to parks and further afield trips such as museums. They have also planned parties for parents to attend such as Halloween, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Easter etc. The events they have done for parents to come to have been highly well thought out and frankly lovely gifts such as a photographed keyring of my kids, which I adore. I have had two kids in the childcare centre for nearly 2 years now.

Unfortunately, since then they have had no end of team turnover and have actually closed down for a week after an unannounced Ofsted inspection, lots of complaints, and accidents. I would vet this childcare centre thoroughly if you are even considering it. The team leader in the preschool room has been incredible, but one member of team can’t uphold an entire childcare centre alone sadly. I rated this childcare centre 5 stars a year ago.

In all aspects, the childcare centre provides outstanding care for him and engage the kids in exciting and entertaining activities. The team at Bliss are welcoming, approachable and trustworthy, there seems to be a excellent atmosphere within the team. The facilities at the childcare centre are excellent, there is some outside space for the kids to explore and plenty of indoor activities for the kids to delight in. The kids delight in fresh healthy and varied meals, which my son truly enjoys. Comprehensive feedback is provided daily and the team are consistently cheerful and responsive to questions in person or via email. We would absolutely suggest Bliss childcare centre. Bliss Childcare centre has been a remarkable choice for my son.

We have been exceptionally cheerful with the care they have received at Bliss. The team are all fantastic and the girls absolutely adore it there. They truly missed it during the lockdown and couldn’t wait to go back. They run in most mornings without looking back and come home babbling about their friends and the team they ‘played with’ with beaming smiles. We are highly pleased with every interaction we’ve had with management. We sense that the team is run professionally and with a excellent deal of care. We look forward to seeing how the girls will continue to develop in this stimulating and secure setting in the toddler room. We have already recommended Bliss to friends in the area and will continue to do so without hesitation. Our twin girls have attended Bliss for almost a year now and have just transitioned to the toddler room.

She loves the team and is consistently welcomed with open arms.
Since the new management team have taken over, we have noticed a huge difference within the setting and with our daughter’s development. They get taken on outings regularly, she’s encouraged to be independent and meeting all her milestones at an incredible pace. We are updated with all the lovely activities she does during the day with pictures and videos.
The team make a lot of effort with parents daily and organise events such as Mother’s Day social, Easter bonnet parade and parent stay and playtime.
The kids are provided with fresh healthy meals cooked on-site every day.
Overall, the management team and team have done a remarkable job in turning around the childcare centre. Myself and my partner couldn’t be happier knowing our daughter is left in trusted care. Regards. My daughter has been attending the setting for 8 months now.

He gets so excited when he gets taken upstairs to the baby room (basically dances) and never seems to want to leave.
It’s beyond reassuring knowing that he is so cheerful there whilst my husband and I are at work. He gets remarkable care from all the team and he clearly adores them! one team member is consistently on hand for anything and is exceptionally patient with my numerous stupid questions.
Couldn’t suggest it higher!! My son started at Bliss when he was 7 months old.
