We had the most incredible journey. All the team were remarkable, the setting is just so lovely, very spacious and relaxed. The ethos and discovering model is kid-led, and the kids have a really positive setting to grow and learn. Everyone involved in the childcare centre, from childcare centre assistants to the childcare centre manager to the cook and gardener, really cares and are truly committed. We were sad when our daughter had to transition to school, but she has made the move with self‑assurance and everything she needs to succeed in the future. Our daughter attended Back To The Garden from age one and a half to four.

The team have been extremely considerate of what our kid’s needs, she’s found it difficult to settle in new environments and they have been interested in what she likes to ensure she feels cheerful and secure when she is there.

I am aware the educators are busy during the day but we have found the updates have become less and less, majority of the time it is done once we have picked them up. We would appreciate it being more consistent, just even if it is only posting what he has eaten and slept so far that day so we can plan ahead for dinner timings.
Also, when we came round for the initial show around we were told there would be excursions outside. For obvious reasons that hasn’t been achievable but now things are getting back to normal we’d like to see some of these things happen. We are very cheerful with the journey that our son gets at childcare centre however we do have a few comments.

The exceptional variety of food and menu options available to the kids is simply outstanding. The dedication and care showed by the team to ensure that the kids receive the very best is truly remarkable.
I have been especially impressed with how much my daughter’s speech and self‑assurance have improved since she started attending Back to the Garden. The assistance and encouragement she has received from the team have helped her to reach exceeding levels in these areas. The outside classroom space is also phenomenal!

They run in every morning feeling cheerful and excited about the day ahead! Each kid is enthusiastically greeted and made to sense like a special part of their Back to the Garden family. The childcare centre provides a wide variety of open ended resources, exciting activities, nurturing team, woodwork, yoga and a remarkable forest school setting. It is so clear that the kid is at the heart of everything they do! The new manager has made some excellent changes. Kids are supported and encouraged to make their own decisions and share experiences. Team are led by the kids and their interests/experiences. The preschool once built an aeroplane and made their own passports following our return from a holiday abroad! I kept my eldest kid at the childcare centre for an extra year instead of her going to a school childcare centre. Her self‑assurance has soared and I am so pleased that she’ll be starting her school education with such strong foundations! Both of my kids attend this fantastic unique childcare centre.

The childcare centre is absolutely lovely! So inviting to the kids and parents. It’s full of resources to inspire the kids’s imagination but also help them learn along the way. The team are lovely and very welcoming. The kids are able to delight in a range of activities at their leisure with no pressure. They’re not afraid of mess and let the kids be kids!
We’ve finally found the place for us! After moving from childcare centre to childcare centre, this being our 3rd and also working in the industry, this is by far the best one yet.

My son’s teacher is exceptional with my son, he has a lot of patience and helped my son so much. I’m really grateful for how much he has helped my son and my daughter has gained a lot of self‑assurance. Both my kids have improved with their speech, we are all round cheerful with this childcare centre. My kids have settled in so well, they adore going to this childcare centre and this is all because of the lovely team and care that is given to my kids.

Our favourite thing about the childcare centre is definitely the team – they are all so lovely and attentive. My daughter settled into the baby room so quickly and really bonded with her key worker. Now she’s in the toddler room her development has really come on, they do so many enjoyable and interesting activities, and the garden equipment is incredible. My daughter has been at Back to the Garden since November 2021 and we absolutely adore it!

From the moment we open the door, we are greeted with a big smile and hello from everyone in reception and rooms!
All the team are remarkable and really know my little girl and us as a family! This has been really important to me, she goes into childcare centre running and straight into the arms of the team in her baby room! The team are consistently there to assistance us with any questions we have and we sense part of their Back to the Garden Family
She is consistently doing excellent activities including messy and sensory and is constantly surprising us with what she has learnt!
Our little girl is a little fussy with her food, but they are helping us to assistance her with this, we will get there.
I cannot thank the childcare centre enough for how they have helped my little girl settle and all the enjoyable she is having each day! This childcare centre really is one of a compassionate! Our little girl loves attending Back to the Garden, as soon as we pull into the car park she gets excited and starts to wave her arms and shout with excitement!

That is all I need to say! My daughter and my son adore it there and they consistently have excellent and innovative things for them to do. And super welcoming team! I would suggest Back To The Garden Childcare Broadheath to any parents. It is literally the best childcare centre.
