Acorns at USW Treforest

Their premises is spotless and lovely, full of kids’s lovely artwork. We have been overwhelmed by the standard of care given to our boy and we can guarantee that he adores the team just as much as we do!
We adore getting involved with the collaborative system and when we go into childcare centre to pick him up, we can see our pictures as well as others, which is lovely to see.
We have constant updates over the app of their activities for the day and it lovely to see him learn and grow! Since being at Acorns, he has become so sociable and independent and it’s lovely to know he is in incredible care. We have been quite picky with routines but the girls have listened to us throughout the whole six months we have been there and through his food stages. I cannot suggest Acorns at USW enough, they have made my transition back into work incredible by knowing my little boy is so well looked after.

My daughter has been attending for 1 year and the development we have seen in her has been incredible. Choosing a childcare centre to send her to during the height of lockdown was tough, but the team at Acorns USW put us right at ease and saw my daughter settle in perfectly. She is cheerful to run in in the mornings and is all smiles when we pick her up each day! Choosing Acorns USW has been the best decision we’ve made! Absolutely adore the childcare centre – incredible team, facilities, equipment, and menu choices.

I can see that my daughter truly loves attending as she will often wait by the door for me with her bag and coat in hand ready to go on a morning. I drop my daughter off by the door and she is consistently cheerful to go in with a consistent member of team, which speaks volumes. There are occasions when I have made contact during the day and am then provided with a welcoming handover via telephone. Upon collection, I am able to see where my daughter spends her time and it truly is such a lovely and homely setting. There are numerous open-ended toys to playtime with and lots of space to explore. She is constantly changing and developing and I am confident that she is thriving in childcare centre. The team are all familiar with my daughter and are highly careful and mindful to follow her dietary/allergy needs. Upon collection, it is lovely to hear all about her day, along with her emotional presentation. Team have also been highly supportive and reassuring when incidents have occurred (e.g. when she has bitten another kid).
I am highly particular about who I allow to care for my kid, however, I am confident in knowing that my daughter is consistently cared for and secure when attending Acorns at USW Treforest. The care that Acorns at USW Treforest Day Childcare centre affords to my daughter is to such a high standard.

My daughter has been attending for over three years. Despite moving further away from the childcare centre and no longer travelling in the direction of Acorns at USW Treforest for work, I have decided to keep my daughter here as this childcare centre excels in every aspect. My daughter is consistently more than cheerful to go into childcare centre, even asking if she can stay when I pick her up after a full day! The team are so welcoming, supportive my daughter has learnt invaluable skills during her time here, my daughter is constantly discovering new things with the monthly themes and is consistently so enthusiastic about the topics with so much to tell me after her day at childcare centre. The management, along with all team members are consistently so supportive and supportive. Acorns at USW Treforest has an outstanding ethos and my daughter and I will be highly sad to leave once she starts school. I could not have asked for a better setting for my daughter to be looked after and grown up in during her first years of life. Acorns at USW Treforest is an outstanding childcare centre.

Team truly welcoming and accommodating, activities are exceptional and it’s lovely when she brings home what’s she’s made and seeing her day via the app. Facilities are great given the history of the childcare centre. Meals are truly great, well-balanced and the variety is remarkable. Price is quite high, however, it has been worth it. Couldn’t suggest highly enough. Remarkable for my daughter, truly brought her out of her shell considering she was born during the pandemic and therefore had a lack of social journey with other kids.

All team are highly expert and they are aware that I have discovering difficulties so they take care to explain things to me.
Updates is consistently open and capturing photos are fantastic for parents. My daughter never cries when we arrive at childcare centre, she is full of smiles and cannot wait to go inside!

We will all be incredibly sad as a family, to leave your outstanding care, sadly as little one starts school out of the area, he will have to start a new childcare centre. I would like to thank the team for all of their hard work in helping our little man grow. So for 18 months, my little man has been engaged with your superstar team at Acorns USW, in his time there, he has learnt to walk, talk and be an independent little boy, undoubtedly, with the help of all your team at the childcare centre.
He has flourished since joining you and we couldn’t be happier with your professionalism and attentive, home-from-home setting.
Coming to collect him and seeing your nurses dancing and singing their hearts out in the classrooms is so heartwarming, the engagement with the kids is second to none.

The team are incredible, welcoming, attentive, and handing over my daughter to them puts me at ease knowing she is cared for and made to sense at home. I adore seeing my daughter’s knowledge, understanding and manners development every day thanks to her days spent at USW Acorns. Watching her run into the arms of the team in the morning is confirmation enough for me that this childcare centre excels beyond all standards. Thank you to the whole team at USW Acorns. They have incredible things going on throughout the year and get us involved with their collaborative system, sending in photos and crafts that are displayed in the childcare centre for all to see. They do a load of celebrations for things around the world and they put on parties for things such as Father’s Day etc, which is lovely to see him playing in an setting so homely and where he feels comfortable. The food there is incredible made freshly in-house and any enquires we have had, the chef has been highly accommodating, as my kid can be quite fussy. They have fantastic resources for the kids to learn and playtime from, and my kid has learned so much since being there. My kid won’t be going anywhere else until he starts school and then we will be looking at doing Acorns action park as the whole company seems highly expert and the heart of what they do is the kids’s welfare and their standard of care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My kid has come on leaps and bounds since being at Acorns at USW.

They welcomed our son in with open arms and instantly put us, as parents, at ease! Our son started aged 2 years and 11 months so it’s a tricky age to settle. Especially given he has some delays with his speech and language. The team here have got to know him and work with him every day to help his updates and speech come along. He also has a number of food allergies and is fussy with his food. The team and chef have gone above and beyond to try and find meals for him to cater to his needs but also foods that he’ll try! Our son didn’t settle well at a previous childcare setting and we had so many worries with him starting here. But now, our only regret is that we didn’t put him at Acorns USW from day 1! It’s no surprise why he loves it so much when you see how fantastic the team members are, how incredible the facilities are and the lengths that team go to to help the kids settle. We cannot thank them enough! Acorns USW have been remarkable from the first time we met them.
